This place is great for fast takeout. You will definitely have your food in hand about 5-10 minutes after ordering. It is ok for groups and can get very loud, but I wouldn't recommend it over Lazo's.
Pros:
-Better than Lazo's (next door) in terms of food quality
-Cheap with a good selection (you can even order beef tongue as a meat selection)
-Easy to get to by Blue Line, Western  Bus, or Armitage Bus
-Nice waitstaff
-Best fast food in the area (don't even think of going to McDonald's across the street)
-24 hour service
Cons:
-I have definitely had better Mexican food in the Chicago area (Arturo's is great though for fast food Mexican places)
Overall, Arturo's is a good Mexican restaurant, and I frequent here regularly.
Eh, my food was okay, but way too over-priced. Â Considering the plethora of taco joints on Western between Milwaukee and Lyndale, I much prefer Las Asadas and Ojo de Agua. Â Arturos charges for cilantro, onions, and avocados on their tacos-- their vegetarian is lacking. Â The service is great though.
Review Source:i love this place!  i was so glad when opened this location...it's closer to me that the western/armitage locatio (which was still worth the hike).  by far the best mexican food in the area.  the burritos, the tostadas  and the chips and salsa totally rock my mouth!  the staff is super sweet and the owner is as friendly as the come.  all of the above at a great price too (except the chips and salsa...that part is free!).
Review Source:I love the chorizo gorditas here. They are so tasty. I love the free tortilla chips and the salsa verde. So tasty. Service can be sort of laid back at times so if you are in a hurry I would maybe think twice about coming. I would give 5 starts but sometimes I have gone and the gorditas haven't always been up to par.
Review Source:Best salsa fresca ever. Â Super fresh and hot. Â Great burritos. Â Yummmm, Arturo's. Â It's very healing after a night of partying. Â Yummmm, healing burritos (now day dreaming). Â I did not give them four stars because I haven't tried anything else on the menu. Â I can't stop eating the burritos!
Review Source:I heart Arturo's. Best enchiladas EVER. Mexican food is my favorite type o' cuisine, so it takes a bit to impress me. This place rocked it. Great staff, very clean, quick service. Oh, and great horchata. Plus, they have parking (but don't accidentally park in Lazo's lot). And after dinner you can head across the street to Margie's Candies (if at the Western and Armitage location). That place is fantastic too. Yummy ice cream. Okay, go to Arturo's!!
Review Source:I am sooo glad Arturo's made another resturant closer to my house. Â The original is on Western and Armitage and it took forever to get there. Â The food here is great and the resturant is bright clean and airy. Â I like to sit in here in the afternoon and have a meal with my granny. Â Carne Asada Tacos are delicious and grilled perfectly. Â The horchata is flame-o!
