The people are very friendly! It's not much of a sitdown place, and the seats need new upholstery.
The pizza is great! Always fresh and tastes a little more herby, the fried chicken is crunchy and they have a decent amount of desserts. My family and I have been going here for years, no harm in trying!
I was in the area running errands and I noticed this place and had the hankering for a pizza. Â Since I was waiting at a spot to be seen down the street I ran in to chow down a slice of pizza...which of course was JUST coming out of the oven...so I couldn't just inhale it in my rush. Â And I am so glad I didn't.
It was sooo good. Â The sauce was a tomato zesty taste with sausage and cheese melting into my mouth. Â Was pretty awesome. Â
I chatted briefly with the owner, Khan, to tell him how awesome the place was, and he himself at first was alittle shy I guess? Â (Maybe he wasn't expecting praise or anything?) Â But he opened up alittle, saying he had bought this from a Italian gentleman and just tried to keep up the standard. Â He even pointed to a picture on the wall (there are a few pictures of Italy on the wall that came with the place) and said that was the last owners uncle.
So after I finished with my appointment I came back for a second slice. Â Still good after an hour too, and decided to eat there. Â The place itself was small, so I assume take out is more the business there, as a few school kids were haning out there. Â (He seems to have a good rapport with them too I notice.) Â Khan is a pretty friendly guy...I even said there are only a couple of places that have good pizza by me and I wish this was one of them.
Sadly I don't venture into this area much, but if you all do, check this place out.
