So, my parents come here pretty often from what I can tell, but I had never been before today. I must admit I was a little reluctant when going in--I'm not very adventuresome when it comes to Asian food beyond Chinese. I ended up staying on the Chinese side of things and got orange chicken, which was very good. I also had some of my dad's black pepper chicken, and it was good but not as good as the orange. (I was surprised that this higher end black pepper chicken was lacking in comparison with Wok and Roll.) All in all, I thought the food was really good. The setup is nice, but it's kind of strange because all the only Asians are in the kitchens and it's not decorated like a traditional Asian restaurant. But it is Asian, and very good. I also like how they give you the two rices and vegetables, even if I'm not a fan of white rice. I thought this was good, but not good enough for a five star. That may change.

This restaurant has a great location on the square in Noblesville and I've usually been impressed with the food.  What gives me pause every time I think about returning is the customer service.  I've been there more than once when there's no one at the host stand in the middle of dinner.  Twice now, there have been issues with our reservations.  This restaurant is small and you think they'd be better staffed to move tables more quickly.

On my latest visit, our server asked everyone what they had as she brought out the food.  That's a pet peeve of mine, because come on, you just wrote all this down.  Our food also came out 5-7 minutes apart, so people had to start eating while others didn't have their food yet.  When we (finally) got our checks, the server told us that the separate checks were "probably messed up, don't be mad."  Sure enough, they were.

If they could improve their service, this would be a 4 or 5 star location.

A favorite stop for us during the summer cruise-in season. The food has never failed to be wonderful at Asian Grill. I would echo the sentiment of a previous reviewer that service is inconsistent, this is a common issue with independently owned restaurants.

Highly recommend a stop to Asian Grill.

I eat at this place whenever I am back in Noblesville.  It is delicious and I haven't had a bad meal there yet. They have a nice variety of options for entrees, so I try to get something different each time.

Amazing! We have been here for lunch 4 times now, tried something different each time and it has all been delicious. I love the mushroom soup and the egg rolls ( spring roll type wrap and wonderful sauce to dip in). Some of the spicy dishes have quite a bit of kick (Kung pao and hot chili chicken) but we loved that about them!

Ouch!  Looked great until the food came out. Fried rice consisted of frozen peas/carrots and no flavor.  Crab Rangoon was like a fried concoction from the county fair. Great spot for this restaurant but very little effort put into quality.  Too bad.

This is my favorite restaurant in town, hands-down.  Everything that I have had here is great - and I have tried almost everything on the menu.

The food is always very fresh and imaginative.  This restaurant offers a variety of Pan-Asian dishes, but I would not describe any of them as traditional.  I recommend you order with an open mind, as the flavoring of the Pad Thai (or other traditional dishes) will be a bit different than you might be accustomed to.  (In a good way, not in a "dumbed-down, Americanized-version of Asian" way.)  I also appreciate that the dishes that are described as spicy, are actually spicy.

My biggest gripe with independent restaurants is that there is often so much inconsistency from visit to visit.  That is not an issue at all here.  My husband orders the same thing every time (Spicy Basil Chicken) and it comes out the same every time, down to the portion size. Besides that, our favorites are the Lok Lak Beef and the Indian Chicken Tikka wrap at lunch, but again, you can't make a wrong choice here.  My 6-year old loves the three different varieties of rice they serve.

I agree with another review in that sometimes the service can be a bit slow, when it doesn't seem like it should be.  If not for this, and the sometimes difficult parking situation with the downtown location, then I would have given 5-stars.

My wife and I went there for lunch a month ago and never got to eat lunch.  We arrived at 12:05 and by 1:15 my wife was late on her lunch break and still no food.  I asked them to box everything up for us as my wife already left and went back to work. They said that the reason it was taking so long was because the chef was "nowhere to be found" and the sous chef didn't know the menu.  I wrote an email about our experience to the place but never received a response or an "I'm sorry"  so I will let my experience be publicly known.   I won't be back.

We've been fans of Asian Grill since they opened, back when nobody knew they existed.  Now the place is packed most nights!  Thanks goodness they DELIVER now!  The food is great and the prices are SO reasonable.  I've seen complaints about slow service, but honestly the atmosphere is so relaxing that we get involved in talking at the table and don't  mind.  If you're in a hurry, find a Panda Express.  This place is worth the wait!

Food was excellent. Try the crab rangoons and the soups. All freshly prepared big portioned entrees'. Five stars not given because service was a little slow(the food delivery times were ok. I have a personal pet peeve in that I do not like to wait to pay my bill. Again though the food was delicious.

If you are looking for super attentive service, I can't guarantee you will find it here.  I have been here at the tail end of lunch as well as the "in between the end of lunch yet right before dinner" time and have thought the service was very lack luster for as few people as there were in the restaurant.  However, compared to other times our service last night was actually decent and it was right at the dinner rush.   I just feel like if you are in any kind of hurry you should seek dinner elsewhere.

The food here is basically awesome, I have never been disappointed in that aspect.  The prices are decent for the amount of food you get as well.  You can usually find halfway decent coupons in local Great Deals magazines or if you own a deck of Foodie Indy cards, there is a $10 off $30 card in the deck.  I digress... great food, decent prices.  Last night I had the Spicy Tofu.  I don't generally like anything too spicy but this was just right.  It also came with an assortment of three kinds of rice.  The rice was a little odd.  The white rice was really sticky, the fried rice was a bit tasteless, and then there was a yellow rice that a little crunchy.  Nonetheless, I ate all three scoops.  My sister had a huge plate of Pad Thai with shrimp.  "This shrimp is really good," she kept reminding me.  She even had leftovers.  The Honda now smells like pad thai.

Overall, a nice little stop in Noblesville.

Well, My daughter and I are on a quest to sample all the pho in a 20 mile
Radius. Think we have a couple more to go. We to king wok. First I couldn't believe that I never ventured in before as I used to live close. Second I was very surprised at how reasonable the prices were. My daughter enjoyed her pho. I tried the dish with noodles, egg rolls, shrimp balls over lettuce. A specialty. Everything was quite good and fresh and for 1.25 they give you a small, but ample  bowl of
Some of the best hot and sour soup I have ever had.  We will be back. Two of ate for $19 including tip.

I have a certain aversion to the burbs, one might call it a "phobia," but I had to trek up to Noblesville last week on a Craigslist lead for a new bike for my wife.

And after sitting in traffic for 30 minutes, windows down in the heat sucking on whatever fumes were coming from the car ahead of us, we worked up something of an appetite. I wasn't sure what would pair well with the Catalytic Converter hors d'oeuvre we had, but we found this little pan-Asian joint on the Square in Noblesville, and came away glad about life again. (I get cranky in traffic & hot weather.)

I almost went with a classic Tikka or Pad Thai, but down at the bottom of the menu my wife found the Angkor Chicken, and we decided to split that. It was a Cambodian wonderland in my mouth. The sauce was part peanut, part coconut milk, tossed up with some chicken and vegetables, served with a trifecta of rices from across Asia. Split between my wife and I, it was the perfect size to leave us with enough room to hop across the street to Alexander's and get some ice cream after.

I'm docking a star because service was a bit sporadic, but they were perhaps understaffed to manage an unexpected rush from what seemed to be an impromptu car show on the Square.

Do old dudes congregate on the Square in their hot rods every weekend in Noblesville, or was this a legit car show to celebrate the Indy 500? If it was a legit car show, there were no signs or obvious tells to signify "car show" other than a bunch of kinda creepy old dudes sitting in their refurbished mid-life crises of cars around the Square.

At any rate, if you find yourself hard up with an appetite in Noblesville, I'd highly recommend Asian Grill on the Square, and I'd definitely recommend the Angkor Chicken.

(Note: I checked "Good for kids" because they had a kid-friendly section of their menu.)

We like this place for their effort to serve the guten free diners as well as non guten free.   We really like the food at Ben Pao in Chicago, but when we can't get our Ben Pao fix, we go to the Asian Grill in Noblesville.  We go there because our son really likes the Gluten Free Orange Chicken.  (It's his substitute for the Ben Pao Sweet and Sour chicken that is gluten free).

It's great to have some place so close and so quick that serves a good gluten free Orange Chicken.  There are a couple beef dishes, appetizers, etc. that are also gluten free as we have had lunch and dinner there and have had other gluten free friends meet us there.

We have been in several times and there was only one time when the service was less than good.  We went in at the same time as a huge party and our server pretty much ignored us and waited on the large party the entire time.  The last few times we have been in the service has been good and servers were able to answer the gluten free questions for us or our friends with us.

Having read the reviews I was expecting good food with reasonable to mediocre service. What I got was good food and reasonable service. I wouldn't classify the service as bad.  I wasn't in any hurry so it was OK. If you're in a hurry, however...

Overall I liked the place. Wish it was a little brighter.

I received a call from the owner and he was very sympathetic and apologized for dropping the ball, which was a nice change of pace!  I really appreciated him taking the time to call, and to rectify the situation, he offered a $30.00 gift certificate.

Based on the customer service I have received, I am willing to try this place again.  Like I said before, the food was great, service needed some work!

Let's see how my next visit goes!

Most of the menu is chicken, little option outside of that.  Ignore the hater reviews, this place is legit. Great food at a great price.

I wrote a review in September, It was really really bad. After that, the owner who had ignored our party the entire time we spent in the restaurant spent days trying to convince me to take off the review. If there had been half that effort while I was in the restaurant, we would not have had a problem.  So I refused to alter my review as he requested, becasue he then accused me of lying about the condition of the restaruant and the service, because I felt others should know how bad it really was... however to my amazement, a few days later my review is gone from the web site. Only the good reviews remain...
Makes you wonder, doesn't it... How many other bad reviews have "disappeared"?

If you like Asian food this is the place for you. If you like Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean or Chinese food go elsewhere. Don't want to sound like a food snob but I have a problem grouping so many cultures together and calling it "Pan-Asian."

I ordered a Thai beef salad (which on the menu should've been called Larb Neau) and it was missing fish sauce, which I asked for but they said they did not have. I don't see how any restaurant can have anything remotely Thai on the menu and not have a case of fish sauce in the kitchen. Everything on the menu here is palatable to the Standard American Diet (lots of sugar and salt) but it's missing the key flavors that truly define the individual cultures.

That said it's one of the better places in Noblesville so if you are stuck there and you really want something that has some spice to it by all means go here. Everything is OK but nothing is great. All of the ingredients are well-treated (vegetables not overcooked) and seem to be of quality.

Excellent food and clean building. Their only downfall is the service which prevented a 5 star rating.  It is usually hit or miss.

My wife and typically always get the chicken chow mein which I highly recommend. Their szechuan chicken is excellent as well but leaves me smelling like garlic for the rest of the day :).

The only reason my wife and I don't eat at this restaurant every single night is simply because we don't want to burn out on it. Because it's fantastic. And we want to keep liking it.

Neither of us have had a dish we didn't love, and always look forward to going back.

    YAY FOR ASIAN FOOD!

If you are looking for a cross section  of Asian foods then this is your place. The menus covers Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese or Cambodian. All of the item that I have eaten are fresh and tasty with the right amount of spices. I'm a big fan of Vietnamese foods, not as many as I would like but what they do have is great! The building is a real gem, one of the down town classics. The inside is very hip wood floors brick walls and small tables. It is very charming place to spend some time with your friends.
Remember to eat well and live well! And please no chain's!

Although I've had a couple of items on the menu I wouldn't order again, I really like this place overall. I'd recommend the beef curry, Hong Kong noodles or flat rice noodles. Their citrus green tea is really great, too. I wish they'd divide up the menu so that you know if you are ordering Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese or Cambodian.

Great little asian restaurant off the square in Noblesville. I had never really  heard of any of the dishes - some had familiar descriptions. I tried the sweet and sour or sweet and spicy chicken - it was really good! Tasted like a home cooked version of the orange chicken you can get at panda express - sorry I am most familiar with asian fast food so that is all I have to really compare it to. But it was really good - it came with veggies and three different kinds of rice - fried, white and a yellow rice. The service was really the only down fall - granted I was downing ice teas like there was no tomorrow but the 3 waiters in the tiny restaurant could not keep up and for such a small restaurant it surprised me. But it was charming and the food was great and we had a great time! I will be back  to take my husband there I am sure!
