What is worse? Â Super salty pizza or being forced to remove staples with your fingers?
There were probably 15-20 of us who ordered pizza from Bacci one Friday afternoon at work because they were close to the office and had some decent prices on their catering menu. Â While we were eating, it wasn't too bad. Â The pizza was also *much* cheaper than some of the other pizza joints nearby (I'm talking about YOU Giordano's!).
An important side note: as a cost-saving measure, our senior director had recently banned the purchase of staple removers, informing us that because staples could be removed with our fingers, the use of a staple remover was an unnecessary luxury. Â Fortunately I'd acquired one prior to this proclamation but I had to start locking that bad boy up at night because I caught several people eyeing it and coveting it. Â So yes, to say that they were cheap was a major understatement. Â
Because they were so stingy, this meant that the amount of water we were expected to consume per day from the water cooler was monitored very closely. Â The Bacci pizza was so salty that I and my coworkers guzzled almost three days worth of water in one afternoon. Â
Just like naughty schoolchildren, we were sorely reprimanded and forced to go without water cooler water for three days.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't imagine Survivor being much different.
Just ok for their thin pizzas. Â The sauce reminds me of those I used to eat in NYC - not chunky but buzzing with flavor. Â The spinach pizza is a little different than most places. Â The spinach is evenly spread out over the cheese and actually melted into the cheese, making it looking more like creamy pesto sauce, instead of being sprinkled in splotches. Â I placed a work lunch for ~50 people, and the staff was excellent. Â The lady who took my order over the phone and the delivery guy were both extremely friendly, quick, and did not mess up a single thing. Â I think they have a $3.95 deal for 1 slice of pizza + a side salad.
