Bahama Breeze

This was mine and my family's first time ever to bahama breeze... Needless to say we were not satisfied at all! I myself work in a restaurant. The waitress, Ashley, was terrible. She got our drink orders and we waited... Then a huge group came in and she took their order before taking ours so ANOTHER waitress noticed it and came over to take our order. She was friendly and very helpful, sadly she wasn't our waitress for the rest of the night. Our waitress only stopped by our table 3 times. We ordered conk fritters as an appetizer and it came at the same time as the rest of the food instead of before. Took forever for our food to come out. My husbands water was empty and we had to ask another server for a refill because our waitress never came to check on us. I have no clue what she was doing because the rest of the staff was refilling her tables drinks, bring out their food, taking orders, etc. absolutely none of the tips should have gone to her. Luckily for her, I work in the food industry and I know tips are how they make a living and we still tippe her over 10% even though in actuality she deserved nothing because everyone else was doing her job for her. First time at that restaurant and will probably not go back. The long wait for the food would have been ok if the waitress had good customer service skills and kept checking on us and was friendly. But instead we barely saw her and other servers had to do her job for her. The food was not worth the prices but it was good.

I like this place, I wish we had them on the West Coast. :( The food is always good, prices aren't bad, the decor is nice and airy with high ceilings and the "Bahama" vibe. This time though, we had this awesome server named Noelle. She was perfect! She was timely and brought us our order quickly, we asked for no salt on some of the dishes and she made a note of that happily. She always refilled our waters (it's hot in FL, gotta stay hydrated), and cleared our table with lots of heavy plates in one swoop. Super server!!! She gets a gold star, thank you.

They have the best seafood Paella
A caribbean classic, (pie-ay-ah) , sautéed scallops, shrimp, fish, mussels, chicken, and sausage with yellow rice. Every time I am in Orlando I always stop here for dinner and or lunch!
