Bearno's Jeff On the River

This was my first Bearno's and my first meal in Jeffersonville. And to be perfectly honest it didn't set the bar very high. Granted it was a Tuesday, but it was pretty deserted. The service was fine. They weren't excited to be there by any means, but not at all rude. We ordered pizza, we got pizza. I just wasn't impressed by it. Not at all. The part that was the worst to me were the canned mushrooms.

Canned mushrooms. Just going to say this one more time. Canned mushrooms. I guess it just really shocked me. Even at Little Ceasars with my 5$ pizza I get fresh mushrooms. And this was not a 5$ pizza.

I have since been back to Jeffersonville and it is growing on me. But I'll stick to my pizza on this side of the river. Unless someone has a fabulous suggestion that uses fresh ingredients (and I can cross the bridge in less than an hour!!)
