I am in town and chose this place to connect with a friend who lives here. Anyway.. Going to have to agree with the previous poster. The wine list is rather anemic and not very good quality. And the fact that they sell coors light doesn't bode well. Decent beer bottle list (all European beers). This place could really benefit by offering good wines. Heck, the waitress (who looked like she walked off the set of Jersey Shore) poured me the wrong thing and then didn't understand when I wondered why it was white (i ordered a rose') Â Turns out they are out of the rose' and so she poured me it's white cousin. Â Strange. Â Took 30 minutes to get a glass of water.
Also, the big TVs glaring in an otherwise quiet, dim room were very distracting. Â Who puts TVs in a wine bar?
I can't believe I'm the first to review this place. Â Or maybe I can. Â I've been here two or three times since its opened and it's usually pretty dead. Â I wonder how they stay afloat! Â I think a wine bar on Central Avenue is a nice addition to Pearl River's pub scene, however, their wine selection is pretty bad. Â It's like they go to ShopRite Liquors and pick the cheapest and shittiest wine and charge you per glass what you would pay for the entire bottle. Â I only know this because most of the bottles they have are around $15 in cost in an average liquor store. Â They supposedly have food, but I haven't tried any. Bin 41 could have a lot of potential, but whatever.. its a nice, QUIET place to chill with your friends. Â It works for Pearl River.
