We had a reservation last month for a birthday party for our son. We made it for 7 but one did not come. It was the attitude of  the owner that I disrupted the whole restaurant seating. We keep getting the eye because we were In the front seating and one of the grandsons was not dressed to the tee!! The food is out of this world but I agree with some other reviewer that the server we had to flag down numerous times. I am going back tonight and hope that attitude etc improves or we will be looking elsewhere

I was just here on a Friday for a dinner party I arranged as a surprise for someone's 30th birthday. I was a little anxious that everything go smoothly, but the people at Bis totally handled everything. The service was really good, and they really helped make it a good experience.

I was especially worried about the surprise being ruined by the host saying something like "party of 10," so I called in ahead of time and asked that they make sure to keep it under wraps and they were more than accommodating.

I arrived with the guest 15 minutes after the reservation, and the host made sure to say, "party of 2." We got to the table where our 8 friends were already waiting, and it was perfect!

The overall consensus seemed to be that the food was pretty good, especially the halibut and filet mignon. Personally, I found the rigatoni good, but not as good as some of the other dishes that people ordered. The lentil soup with bacon was also quite good, and possibly one of the best lentil soups I've had.

Love this place.  Great for dinner with clients, friends or evening with your spouse. Quickly becoming one my favorite spots
