This little place is in the perfect spot if you live/ work out in this area. This place is right behind Si Senor mexican restaurant .. (coming soon to a review near you) in a strip mall kind of place. Â
Anyways, another divey type place with a  Jimmy Buffet kind of theme. It doesn't really feel like this but that is what they peddle. The food is typical pub / bar fare and they have pool tables and tvs here.
I love sitting at the bar of any of these places you seem to get better service if you are right there instead of at a table. I think this is a well known thing as well, since everyone is usually at the bar but depending on what time you go in you can usually find a space at the bar.
The funniest thing in this place is the bathroom. There is a Dove Lewis advertisement about a cat that rubbed up against the fence but claims to be a lady and to hurry her to Dove Lewis. I think it's in the photos in here. quite funny!
Love to go back whenever I get the chance. The drinks aren't as big here, but they serve the HRD vodka here.. which is very good! Yum.
Ok I have become a regular here on Wednesdays because of a friend of mine. Â It is after all Dollar beer night so what the hell. Â We have two very affectionate names for this place first and foremost it is just the "B", Â and the next is well proudly the best way to describe the place " The shithole". Â Bleachers is by very definition a dive bar!!!!!!! Dark, Â only two pool tables, video poker machines right next to that. Â poorly decorated. Â " its kinda got a Jimmy Buffett theme going on I guess kinda. Â
But that is not the reason to come here! Â Wednesdays like i said is dollar beer night, and after 9pm its regular price. Â Scotty the bartender pours a good drink and they are usually 5 bucks really can't beat that!!!! Â The food isn't bad for a dive bar i recommend any of the burgers. Â But mostly it's for the people there. Â Just a good mix of Salt of the Earth kind of people fun to be around good sports conversations and such and ive never even seen a hint of a fight starting like in other bars. Â So if you live in the area and just want a quick drink be fore you go home check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!
I live near here (the wife and I moved to the inner burbs to same some dough) and it is one of the only bars around this area. Â It is a sports bar with plenty of tvs and a list of all the upcoming events and games on a white board behind the bar.
Fridays and/or Saturdays they often have live music. Â Last time I was there a bunch of 40 somethings were getting there groove on to "Brickhouse" sung by a mediocre cover band. Â But the key is, everyone was having a great time.
Lots of beer taps, and really good bar food - especially the burgers (although the kitchen closes at 9:30 on weekdays... ahhh the suburbs, gotta love it!). Â Pool tables, lottery, lots and lots of smokers (which I don't like...).
I may sound like I'm being mean, but I'm not really! Â Everyone in there is the kind of nice happy local blue collar people that can be a hoot to be around on a Friday night, or just sitting around quietly watching a game on a Wed afternoon. Â The claim they are the home of Raider Nation in Portland if that tells you anything!
