Service is terrible. Â Waiter took our order, brought our drinks & bread, someone else brought our food & someone else cleared table (quite a bit of food still on plate). Â Kept looking for our waiter to 1st get another drink & finally to get our bill. Â About 10 mins after we had finished eating he showed up & said your food will be right out. Â We had to tell him we had already eaten, we just needed our bill, he said OK, no apology. Â Coffee & dessert would have been nice, but he was never around to offer either or check on us. Â Won't recommend or be back. Â Oh we are full time residents, not seasonal!!!!!!!
Review Source:My mother came into town late one night, so I called ahead to see if we could still get dinner although it was very late and they were about to close. The owner said he would hold the chef for us. We showed up and was waited on by a wonderful server who attended our every need. We had salmon salad and scallops. The food was wonderful, tasted very fresh and not late night food, you know like at the end of the night when everyone is tired and wants to go home. We returned another night so my mom could hear the jazz music. She was very impressed and loved every moment. Once again the food was amazing. I love the bread and fresh garlic cloves with olive oil and spices, very mild..this could become addicting. O! I should note that on the first visit which was in November for dessert they had featuring a pumpkin chessecake which was made from scratch. You could taste the pumpkin, it was too die for. Once again something that could be addicting. However, that is a seasonal dessert is not on the menu. The staff is very good at upselling, so enjoy the experience, the music and meet the owners. You wont be disappointed.
Review Source:I work off Metro , always looking for little hole in the wall establishment for lunch and dinner. Bratta's seem to be that place. Menu has a wide selection and is reasonably priced . The service when we were there was great . He  was very warm  and welcoming , he is always there . We would surely be back.
Review Source:Since this place has been taken over by a new owner, Micheal I thought it fair to review the place based on no past history.
I will not review the cleanliness of the restaurant based on the information from the owner Michael Bratta. see next paragraph
Michael told me that he had plans for some major repairs to be done on the place and I am glad to hear that. Â I have Restaurant Management in my back ground so I tend to be a bit harder on cleanliness than others who may not know what to look for. Â The restaurant plans are to re-do the bathrooms and to tear out the old not so white tile on the floor in the main dining area. He is also working on the kitchen and he has already taken out the brass banister' in the main dining room.
Onto the food. Â I must admit I was very happy with the quality and quantity of our food. Â The old place was skimpy and pricy. Â We had a Brandy Alexander mad with ice cream for starters and personally I think it was better than the ones we have gotten at the Veranda.
Our server was wonderful. Â We had some fresh home made bread and oil with roasted garlic cloves. Â That was a nice way to start the meal. Â We did not have to wait a long time to receive our food which was served hot and fresh. The menu has been updated to include a large variety of tastes and prices. Â Right now the restaurant is only open in the evenings and as the winter crowds come back the intent is for the restaurant to be open for lunch as well. Â I will be back in September to check in on the cleaning and up dates.
If your looking for a place to hang out at a bar, they have a large bar in the center. Â This use to be an old Bennigans that has had some updating done to it, but the layout is still the same.
Food 4 .2 stars
Service 5 stars
Ambiance 3 stars but to be updated in the future.
This is a wildly popular local hot spot for cocktails & dinner populated primarily by oldies with a sprinkling of locals and younger people who think they're having a special night out.
This large stand-alone restaurant is dominated by a huge bar area right in the middle, with the dining area surrounding it, almost as an afterthought.
We sat down and each had a glass of not-so-bad house Cab & Pinot and ordered a Ribeye Steak and a Prime Rib. First off, the waiter brought us some fresh bread and a roasted garlic in olive oil for dipping. It was absolutely delicious.
The Prime Rib was brought to our table and we went ahead eating it, my wife sharing some of her meal with me. Then, we waited & waited & waited for my Ribeye. It never came. The waiter never came. Nothing happened.
Half an hour after the delivery of the Prime Rib, still nothing. We mentioned all this to the manager because the waiter was nowhere to be found during this time.
The manager apologized and leapt into action and, voila!, in about 5-10 minutes my dinner arrived. He also reduced our bill. A good result? I guess...

Will not go back. Â Calamari was all bread. We sent back the baked brie three times and they still couldn't get it right. Â The roasted duck was good: 4 out of 5. Â They recently moved to Cleveland Ave and I have to wonder if they are under the same management as when they got four stars.
Review Source:They moved to Rt 41 across from Bell Tower Shops. Â Awesome dinner, with live entertainment to boot. Â The Seafood Martinin may have been the best thing I've eaten in Fort Myers - serious large fresh shrimp and a huge pile of crabmeat on a citrus seafood sauce - it was great. Â We had 4 dinners with appetizers and salads and everything was great. Â The specialty is seafood, and the grouper , sea bass and ahi we had was indicative of that.
