Finally tried this place after months of saying we were going to go.  Went for happy hour and each had burgers which were really good.  I had the buffalo burger which was very spicy and yummy. Also enjoyed my half price glass of merlot.  Would be great to go here and watch your favorite team play since they have tvs everywhere.  Will be going back on a Thursday night since that's prime rib night and we want to try that since it was recommend by a coworker.  They have different specials each night of the week which is pretty cool.

Not a huge fan of Bru's but the environment works as a bar and grill, a decent change from what appears to be overpriced night clubs and restaurants.  Trivia night seems fun (arrived a little late to participate).

Our friends brought us to Bru's on a Saturday evening to try the wings while we were visiting. We had a group of 8, the place was packed due to a NFL Playoff game, but we had no trouble getting a table put together. Our server came over about 5 minutes later to take our drink orders. Our drinks(mostly pitchers of water) came about 10 minutes later. I began to wonder at this point if the staffing was just spread thin or if it was a one time delay. After dropping off the pitchers of water and a couple of drinks, he ran off and didn't come back for another 10 minutes to take our meal orders. About 35 minutes later my side salad was dropped off, and shortly behind it my boneless wings. I was the only person at the table who had my full meal. I waited a few minutes to see if any one else's meals came out (to not be rude and eat alone), but they never did. Another 25 minutes went by after my wings were now cold, some of the other dishes came out. three people's orders were wrong or missing items.  Although the boneless wings I had were good (nothing mind blowing), and the bf enjoyed his burger, service was below sub-par.
Sorry Bru's. Hope to catch you on a less busy/better staffed day next time I'm in town.

Who doesn't love hanging out with old friends on Saturday night and having a couple drinks to make conversation a little more fun?  A group of us started out here bar hopping at Downtown Delray.  It was packed and well worth the visit.

I've been to several locations but I will review this one as it is my favorite so far.

I went to catch the Giants game, a little aprehensive since I was assuming I'd be entering Dolphin or Patriot territory.  Immediately upon sitting down at the bar, a sweet bartender greeted me and made conversation.  She suggested I move down as the game would be on a different tv.  Both bartenders were great, always made sure I had a drink in front of me and always smiling.

I ordered the buffalo chicken quesadillas and they were great.

There was a good mix of sports fans and I will gladly return next time I'm in town.

Decided to make it up to Delray, take out my uncle and check out the Dolphin game.   Not such a great idea.  We made the scene at least.    But it's noisy and not comfortable.   The food is just  ok.  There are loads of TV's but we couldn't see the game we came to watch.
Maybe for the younger rowdy sports fans but not my thing.

Brus Room had great Baked Wings and is an overall fantastic Sports bar in Delray.

I love coming here its always full of energy and sport enthusiasts and people looking to pick up.

There are Giant Screen TVs here too when big games are on.

The Parking can be a little hard most of the time, even though they have their own lot out back, it just always seems to be busy with people parking to go elsewhere.

I love the pool tables here, it makes drinking a beer more enjoyable (they have great beer specials too) and I seem to play better when buzzed, or maybe that's my outlook on it?!

They also make a good Grilled Chicken Salad with Cesar Dressing or Balsamic both are great.

The Service is Friendly and happy and quick to serve you, cant beat it! Enjoy!

Lots of TVs, but several broken or off. Good sports bar for game watching, but the food is just average. Comparable to Ale House. I had the Buffalo Chicken salad.  The salad was meager, with bits of chicken chopped that felt suspiciously like leftover pieces from other chicken dishes.  Not attractive at all.

Burgers are okay and the service at the time kind of sucked for it being really slow.  However, I would certainly go again and enjoy some football on the big screens.

Amazing wings! Try the triple treat but get it without garlic. I think the garlic killed the wing taste...good drinks. Overall a fun sports bar :)

Not impressed. Being from out of town, we though a sports bar would be a great place to have a beer. It seemed like every beer we ordered they were out of except for the domestic crap. Come on guys/gals -- its a sports bar -- "Should you be running out of beer", especially on a holiday weekend?

4 words.  Grilled Triple Threat Wings!  It's the only thing that's good here.  (unless you're one of those people who really enjoy greasy fried sports bar food)  The triple threat wings have minced garlic on them and they're delicious.  If you're looking to watch a game and drink beers, this place is for you but it's really hard to find parking at this location.

    Lots of TVs - CHECK
    Pool Tables - CHECK
    Lots of beer options  CHECK
    Lively atmosphere - CHECK
    Friendly waitstaff - CHECK

This is a sports bar, plain and simple.  If you're just looking for a place to watch your game and enjoy bar food, that's what you'll get.

To note -- The Delray Beach location has a different menu than other Bru's Room locations.  They have no pizza oven, so there is no pizza, calzone, or knots on the menu like there are at other Bru's locations.  Their website doesn't indicate this, so I'm here to let you know. :)

We went to this location for the specific task of checking out the potential of them putting a TV on the Seahawks game (we weren't there during the game, but wanted to check it out in advance to find out if they'd do that for us if we returned).  They said that if our game wasn't on, they'd seat us near a TV and turn our specific game on for us.  YAY!

The real bummer is that we really, really, really wanted to order pizza and knots.  We checked out the menu online in advance, and had our hungry little hearts set on that...but when we were handed a menu without those choices, our server explained that they have a different menu at the Delray location.  Bummer.  So, we ordered the flatbread and some waffle fries.  Seriously, the portions were WAY smaller than what we'd expect for a sports bar, especially given the price BUT the flatbread tasted good anyhow.

If you really don't care about any of those things, and you're not a foodie and just want to catch a game while consuming mainstream sports bar food in small portions, then Bru's in Delray might just be for you.

Great server! Added bag of ice to beer pitcher to keep cold, changed tv to channel and turned up volume without request, very courteous. Food was ok but service made it well worth it.

Just got off work and stopped in, cool place late night happy hour rules! Seems like a decent crowd on this Tuesday night. Mostly 30 somethings  they all seem to be into the trivia game being played for beer and gift certificates. I ordered a Reuben and the dreaded bartender was friendly. He asked me a couple questions on how I wanted it and I told him, "I'm no Boca Girl bro I'm easy, ill eat anything."  It came out perfect! I'll always come back to cheap drinks and cool bartenders even if they're dudes!

Stopped in here after watching a spring training game in Jupiter & was glad we decided to eat here. The server was super nice & efficient and the have a ton of outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is also covered, so you won't bake away in the sunshine. The fried pickles were delish (I believe the flat disk, not spear kind if I remember right). I had a blackened mahi sandwich that was cooked well and tasted excellent. I had fries with it, that must have also been good because I think I pretty much licked my plate clean. Plus, cheap beer & many drink specials. I would come back again if I'm ever up in Delray again. I like.

Bru's Room is the perfect sports bar. Great food, cheap drinks, and tons of TVs to catch whatever game your little heart desires.

The Delray location is situated right off The Ave, and if you're lucky, you might even have the good fortune of sitting out on the patio when a train rolls through. For as much time as I've spent in Delray, I'm really amazed that I'd never been to Bru's Room before!!

We started out with the fried pickles and the potato skins - both were excellent.  Some of the better fried pickles I've had in recent memory.  I followed with the Bru's-N-Beef - a huge sandwich full of roast beef, provolone, and some crispy fried onions. Yum!  I don't recall what the others had, but I do remember that there were clean plates everywhere when we left!

Drinks were cheap, and they seem to have some sort of special running at any given hour of the day.  I had a couple domestic beers, and I think they were under $5 for the 2.

There's nothing not to love about Bru's Room! Great tasting bar food at very reasonable prices, cheap drinks, and very chill atmosphere. Perfect whether or not you're watching a game. I'll definitely be returning on future Delray visits!

I totally wish this place was in the Grove. Why? I love sports bars, I love outdoor patios, and I love spicy bloody marys - especially when they're a Sunday special. :)

We stopped in here after a spring training game, and it was the perfect choice for a lazy Sunday afternoon/evening. We sat outside, and it was totally pleasant and shaded. They had TVs playing poker and basketball (of no interest to me, but it kept everyone else entertained :).

I had fajitas, no meat, and the aforementioned bloody mary. I was a happy camper. The fajita veggies had the perfect amount of char, soooo yummy. And the bloody mary was spicy and delicious.

I'd be back here in a heartbeat if I lived a little closer. :( We need a place like this in the Grove, STAT!

You can never go wrong with Bru's Room.

I have eaten here a couple of times and I have to say my favorite on the menu are the fried calamari and the buffalo chicken sandwich (Love spicy food).

Usually I come here with friends late at night for a couple of drinks while watching sports. They have 2 for 1 specials after 10pm til closing. My favorite is the blue long island ice tea. You can never go wrong with that drink.

At this location they have an outdoor area which has access to the inside bar and there is another large bar inside. This place is fairly large with several tables, pool tables, TVs everywhere and arcade machine games. The bartenders are friendly and service is quick. Music playing in the background is good to keep you in an upbeat mood.

It's all about the wings. My favorite wings are Virgil's but these are a close 2nd. The key is GRILLED.  They are incredible. Regular are great and triple play are divine. Wings and trivia get a 5 star.

Bru's was a lot of fun for gamewatching. It's a sports bar. So, if you don't dig that atmosphere, you probably don't want to be here.

We showed up just before the first set of games and the joint was packed. We got one of the last tables available. Lots of people around in jerseys ready to support their various teams. We were right around a bunch of Bears fans and they switched up a TV and put that game on for all of us. They have the TVs labeled with which game is on, so you can position yourself to watch all the action. Service was good and attentive, which can be tough in a place this packed.

    What I liked about Bru's....
-TVs everywhere, already on the games and labeled (Sunday Ticket)
-great wings, I got them grilled with the triple threat and garlic sauces
    -helpful service
-they took advantage of all the space and covered up pool tables for seating
-Spirited fans, highlighted by the cute and hopeful Bears gal in front of us that was decked out in full uniform complete with the pink trim and gloves.

    What I didn't like...
-Jay Cutler (4 picks and a fumble on the goal line) Can we have Sexy Rexy back already?
-The super obnoxious Redskins fan that just lingered around all day and apparently didn't even get any food or drink.
-lots of smoke around the outdoor seating.
-lack of decent beer options, this seems like the Lite crowd.
-beer in plastic cups, am I back in HS at a keg party?

Love this place.  One of my favorite places to go out for drinks and food.  Their drinks are half off after 10:00pm, which is awesome, and their food is always good along with their service.  They have a lot of TV's inside and outside, which are great for games and fights.

This place always gets pretty packed for fights and football games so get there early if you want a good seat.  There is a few huge TV's inside including a giant projection TV on the west wall.  I get the boneless wings just about every time i go there, but almost anything else is very good.

If you are afraid of trains then you may want to beware because if you are there for more then an hour or two, there is a good chance that the train will come whizzing by..and it's not only loud as hell, its like 30 feet away!

They have an awesome dessert too, i forget the name exactly, i think it has to do with pirates or something, but it is really good!

This is a sports bar, so naturally, it's shit. However, the wings are great. You can get them grilled if you like your wings on the crunchy side. This place is huge, so it might be a good place to check out if you're forced to hang out in an annoyingly big group.

Most people hit this restaurant/ bar for the sports games and drinks and cheap alternative to most spots in Downtown Delray. While I've enjoyed all of the above on different occasions, my review is all about the GRILLED WINGS. Bru's Room has cheap drinks, young, casual crowd and during the day is surprisingly very kid friendly. We went last weekend as a family with a four year old for lunch because I was craving the grilled wings. There is no where else I can think of in Delray that has grilled wings. They did not disappoint. Low carb and much healthier than most wings. Love the hot wings with Xhot sauce on the side. Will definitely return for my next craving....

I went with a few friends to Bru's room a few weekends ago to enjoy the 2010 World Cup. They always have a decent price for buckets. It was like any other Saturday, looking for somewhere to grab a beer and a bite and watch sports.
My friend went to take a sip of his beer, and cut his lip. We looked at his bottle mouth, and it was chipped. It was extremely obvious to us that the bar tender had used a bottle opener (which everyone does, no big deal) and broken the glass off with the cap. Still not a huge deal right? Wrong.
The piece of glass was still in the bottle. I would say it was about the size and shape of a finger nail, bubbling in the bottom of my friend's bottle of beer.
Having worked at a server/bar back in college, I know how hazardous that is to your health. If he had swallowed the glass it could potentially have cut his intestines, stomach, esophagus etc... When I went to mention this to the server, no only did it take him greater than 15 minutes to get another beer over to us, we him if he understood how bad that could have been, his response was, "yeah that (cuss word) would have torn your insides going in and coming out."
Great, thanks for the insight. Later when we asked for the check, we found they CHARGED us for the beer. So, I sought out a manager. The lady was nice, but only removed the beer. No comp, no coupons, only an "I'm sorry" and the check.
Feeling this was still not reasonable, I sought out another manager and ran into an owner. He removed another beer, with NO APOLOGY. Our total savings $4. Total cost to the bar about $1. Medical bill could have been...?
I have been to many Bru's Rooms in the last year I have lived here, watching almost every Ohio State Football game during the fall at that exact location. I now will never return.
Like I mentioned earlier I have restaurant experience, and when any glass was broken, to ensure the safety of all of our patrons, we would shut down that bar, walk to another bar for all drinks and clean the bar top to bottom. Cleaning out the ice, condiments, anywhere glass could have gotten into and potentially been served to someone.
Needless to say I would also recommend you find another place to eat. University is full of other "sports bars" with similar pricing and whatnot. It's not worth the risk!

I go to this brus room all the time for games (the one on hillsboro is good as well).  Wings are awesome especially grilled.  Also like the philly and buffalo chik sandwich.  if you want a salad the buffalo chicken salad with grilled chicken (ask for grilled) is also good.  A great happy hour bar and they do takeout.  prices are fair.

Great Happy Hour hangout... I love the "outside" bar. The large big-screens make it a favorite for Sunday football watching.

As many have stated before, the wings here are great. The trick for us has always been to get the sauces on the side. That way you can dip them into whatever you have the taste for.

    Garlic wings are the best!

It doesn't get much better than watching a game at Bru's Room.
Sitting outside, under the palms, bucket of beers and the best wings I have ever come across.

Beer is CHEAP, especially during games.  Ask the bartender about the specials.  Whether you do pitchers or buckets, it will still come out cheaper than most places around.

As for wings: here is our classic order:
25 wings, spicy barbeque, grilled, wet (that means extra sauce).

    Other thoughts:
    1. I cannot vouch for their other food.  It seems to be hit or miss.
    2. Service is usually great.  Also, you can usually ask them to put on a certain game on a certain TV.
    3. The only downside is that depending on the time and day, this place can be packed.

Service is a little slow.... but the wings are worth the wait.... best wings I have ever eaten.... I hate the fried kind....these are grilled and get the well done.... with medium sauce.... really good.... The tables added outside under the tent are great.... it rained while there, and didn't effect a thing.... We go there on average twice per month just for wings....

Good place to sit outside, drink beers, and hang out with the Delray Beach locals and chat it up.  Football Sunday's at bru's room are the best.  You can sit outside and see the screens to any game you want!  cool bartenders too!

OK, so I'm not drunk right now but I'm having some difficulty typing. Thank God for spell check on the Internet.

My inebriation is a result of the place I'm reviewing, Bru's Room. Although I gave it four stars it really only deserves three and a half. Of course, to be fair, it's not because of the establishment itself but because of the douche bags that sometimes frequent it. There are certain men and women that I see playing pool there or smoking cigarettes outside and I immediately think "Herpes!" and really, that shouldn't be my initial reaction when it comes to a sports bar/restaurant. Still, I really shouldn't hold their clientele against them.

Back to the place itself...the food is above average, the service is above average and the beer, well, it's beer. You can't screw that up unless you leave it sitting in the sun and it gets skunky which I believe these folks don't.

The best feature's of Bru's room are the fact that they serve food late, they have a butt load of TVs to watch a variety of sporting events on (including pay-per-view like boxing and MMA) and they're centrally located. It's the perfect spot to start a night out on the town in Downtown Delray Beach. Whether you're hitting the overpriced nightclubs or the karaoke bar situated only a mere alley trot away where the cosmopolitan's flow and the Frank Sinatra impersonators shine.

Bru's Room is a fun, moderately priced starting point for family's, tourists and alcoholics alike.

Wings are good, but not even close to the best ever.  (See Anchor Bar, 1047 Main St, Buffalo, NY)  That is the birthplace or the modern Buffalo wing.

Good place to watch games (football) and fun crowd.  (Beer crowd is usually a bit more friendly)  Kinda like Jet fans Vs. Giants fans.

    BEST WINGS EVER.  Officially.  Ever.

If you love wings, you will automatically be an uberfan.  (Try the triple threat wings).  Tons of garlic, great sauce.

Bru's rooms are always a staple.  You can catch any game, any night of the week.  The Delray store has indoor/outdoor seating and is right off of the Delray strip.

Good food.  Good beer selection.  For a sports bar, it might be my fav.
