This bar is connected to the back of another bar and super confusing to find. Â Anyway, this place is great. Â The music played is from the 90's and early 00's, the drinks are cold, and the patrons have fun. Â If you're looking to get ouf the club scene and enjoy a good dance bar - try Buck 15. Â Warning!!! The Yelp Check-In is not accepted. Â Don't try and use it because you will be shot down. Â Anyway, have some drinks before you go and try Buck 15.
Review Source:They cheat you out of your money. I came here with 15 girls on a Friday night for a bachelorette party (when girls are supposed to get free well
drinks until 1 am). But they still charged us. We found out later from the locals. Messed up, especially since the place was empty. Don't go here, else you'll be ripped off. Doesn't help that it took us a half hour to find this place.
Love this place. One of my all time favorite SoBe haunts. No cover charge, cheap drinks, awesome music.
This place is not the typical Look-at-me SoBe nightclub. It's fun, down to earth, fun, and you can wear whatever you want.
LGBTQ welcome, Stripper pole included, and lots of different music.
A hole in the wall. A hidden gem among the glitz and glam of Lincoln road. This place offers no covers and if you check in via yelp they have a free 2 drinks offer. Yes it doesn't give you the same vibe as some clubs but it also gives a more chill and relaxing and fun place for you and your gals to hang out on a Friday night.
Review Source:Buck 15 is a chill place to hang out. Good music and no cover. We originally enticed to stop by because a Yelp check-in offer of 2 free drinks caught our eye. However we later found out that they no longer honored that deal. But the bartender told us drinks would still be half off. I go ahead and get a round of 6 drinks. The bartender tells me $28! I had to wait for the bill to actually come to make sure I heard him correctly. Awesome deal. My friends and I chilled here for most of the night while enjoyed these extremely affordable drinks and great music.
Note: It's located just north of Lincoln Rd. Mall. We kept walking around not realizing it was on the back side of the building.
Secret entrance, no cover, cute crowd, stripper pole, strong drinks  -  Yes please!
This fun albeit grungy club was great for dancing, drinking and enjoying a hassle free night in Miami. The drinks were unbelievably strong and fairly cheap. Don't forget to check in there and use the Yelp deal for free drinks!! The music was a fun eclectic mix. Â I got tired after hours of dancing and wanted to sit down, but couldn't since each new song was better than the one before. Â
Wear what you want. Â We were dressed up, as some people were, but there was a diverse mix of attire.
All I have to say is...THE RAFTERS ARE BACK!
I think they might even put a stripper pole up there too!
FUUUUUUUUUUN!
As always Buck 15 is a no nonsense sort of place- cheap drinks, great music and a fun crowd. OH, and ladies drink free til midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Whaaaaaaaaaaat?~
It's a few months after my last review and while I still love the idea of Buck 15 and again salute their efforts at providing South Beach party-goers with a chill, no attitude spot to dance and drink and sneak a kiss, it's just not killing it like it once did.
I thought I'd get used to the high ceilings (different from the low ceiling rafters people used to hang off of), I thought I wouldn't miss the gaggles of gay boys who'd tear up the dance floor (the gays have long departed), that I wouldn't miss the eclectic DJ switching from Portishead to Radiohead to Run DMC... alas, I miss it. I miss it all.
The DJ here sticks close to her Madonna, George Michael and Montell Jordan repertoire, and the novelty wore off before the track hit the speakers. The indie, locals vibe has flown the coop. Get the gays back, add some new DJs, bring back the sweaty dance party and reincarnate that spotless energy from the old Buck 15!
Plastic drink cups for potent drinks...Intimate space...Great light show..Loud Sound System rocking killah electro..Sponge Bob poster on the wall. Great House Party Vibe..Go with Friends!

Went to Buck 15 on a Saturday Night. We arrived early to be the only ones there in a tiny room (way smaller then the old Buck) with thrift store couches and some funky art and laser lights. We left and came back a few hours later and the place full and the music had everyone dancing.
The floor is always slippery so there's a lawsuit waiting to happen. I also saw some girls jumping on the couches and dancing, again...lawsuit.
Hey there's good dance music and no cover at the door. Its a great place to have 2 drinks then see where the night takes you.
From the sound of it, I had no idea what to expect from Buck 15. Even the location was a bit odd, go into this restaurant - turn left and through the hallway there is a door. Like a secret club that the locals know about.
Open the door and there is Latin music, 80's, hip hop and club music. People dancing, ordering drinks from the bar and checking out the scene. It was a bit too hot for my taste, until they brought in those huge fans.
Everyone was really nice, especially the Argentinians who bought us rounds of shots. I think we had one of everything. What a way to celebrate!
Secret speakeasy dance club meets Miami vice!! Drinks are cheap, people are young and pretty, no dreas code, great 80s and 90s mix.
You see the great reviews. You see the 2 free drinks check in offer. Your heart skips a step. Heck yeah! You walk to Lincoln Rd looking for a sign of Buck 15.... What the.. Â Pass the Chinese place with the lights on. Pass the hookah lounge. Check your phone -- it's right here. Where in the world?!
Then you figure to ask the dude mopping the floor at the Chinese joint -- oh buck 15, thru the restaurant to the hallway on the left. Unmarked door next to the men's restroom. SERIOUS?!
You hear a faint hum thru the door that turns into the most awesome Madonna-mash up once a pretty blonde hipster walks out of the mysterious door. you enter. The bar man offers you a strong one, held high above all the other pretty hipsters.
You lounge on the couch. You do the thriller moves. You sing along and stare at the mannequin positioned near the spotlight. You realize this is one crazy experience so random and so Miami. needless to say, when it's too damn hot to wear jeans and get into the other washington/lincoln clubs, hit up buck 15 for an awesome, chill dancy night.
I may have found a new favorite bar/house party simulation in the form of Buck 15.
Ever have a friend in high school who was "that guy/girl" who would host all your *non alcoholic* drinking parties up in their den? Well, if you want to relive those glory days (or if you never had that friend, but really wanted one), Buck 15 is the place to go.
I loved the diversity of the crowd - you have your hipsters, dressed up people, dressed down people, "hang off the rafters pouring shots in your mouth" people, etc. There was no specific type of niche audience, just those that wanted to have fun. No cover is also a great way of drawing all these people together.
The variety in the music played was also pretty cool. You could hear anything from Top 40 to E-40. Party anthems seemed to be the theme of the night. I remember hearing S&M played back to back with Bon Jovi and MJ with the best transition, thanks to the DJ.... I like, like it.
Would love to stop by this place again on my next Miami trip. Bonus for yelpers with the app - 2 for 1 drinks before midnight when you say "yelp"! Consider it your pre-pre party on Miami time.
Two words for Buck 15 on a Thursday night: HELL YES.
If you're lucky the stars align and a lovely buzz comes on right when a gaggle of gays decide you're more fun to dance with than their friends. When was the last time you did the electric slide at a bar? Â And I'm not talking by yourself, I'm talking with the ENTIRE bar! Exactly.
I haven't had this much fun in. . .
First of all, can I just say how much I love creepin' in through a back alleyway to get into this little slice of cool right above Miss Yip? Â It feels so downright...shady. Â But in a "I-have-a-hot-n-dirty-secret-that-I-won't-share" kinduva way.
Mr. W and I decided to join some fellow Yelpers and good friends at an afterparty shindig at Buck15 following the EPIC and AWESOME Midsummer Night's Dream par-tay. Â We arrived a bit early (10:45-ish) on Saturday night and what a refreshing change of pace from the usual SoBe scene. Â No door hassles, no "velvet rope" laws, no line, no cover and a really unique/cozy space to lounge out at and later in the evening, dance your booty off!
We scored a comfy little couch and table in the corner of the room and waited for friends to arrive. Â After checkin' out some Yelp reviews, we stayed away from hard liquor (At $12 a pop? Â I don't think so) and stuck to beer and wine. Â We had 3 glasses of wine and 2 beers and our total came out to $32. Â Not bad at all!!!
The music was eclectic and oh-so-much fun - 80s, hip hop, rock, house. Â A total party jam mix! Â As the night wore on, the room got slammed to almost an uncomfortable level...but when you're buzzin' hard and with a fun loving group, who cares?? Â It only adds to the insanity and fun factor of the night.
Yes, it's true...you *do* have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the bathroom (I can only imagine the amount of face plants that happen there as the night progresses). Â But just hold on to a railing or friend's hand and it's all good. Â And please wash aforementioned hand after tinkling though. Â It's only polite.
The space itself reminds me of your cool older/hipster cousin's loft in his college heyday - cushy couches, vinyl records as decor, and art/toys lining the room - this night, they were featuring Puma tshirts on the walls that had been designed by local artists. Â Big ups to the person that did the Mr. T 'I pity the foo' shirt. Â I was trying to case it and find ways to jack it. Â No luck. Â ;)
The crowd was definitely eclectic, but not rude or snooty. Â All in all, it was a great place to continue our party and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to head right on back and pick up where my rump shakin' left off.
In town from the Northeast, rolled in here with five of my nearest and was pleasantly surprised. Â Aside from the tall dude doublefisting beer bottles and spilling them on me every five minutes (and then learning that he was responsible for only about half those incidents and that the other half was from a dripping air conditioner on the celiing but still continuing to hate), this place was pretty great. Â
Other good things:
Six drinks at the bar cost something like $35. Â
The dude who couldn't stop popping in the corner.
Hearing the DJ go from the Hives to Damian Marley to Yo Majesty.
Never having to wait in line for the bathroom.
The graffiti in the stairwell.
The girl at the door with the hot haircut.
Many a drunk night-- I end up at Buck 15- as long as the line outside isn't too long. Besides the lack of cover charge and the cheap drinks- Buck 15 is always jamming. They play great music that will get even the non-dancers off their feet. It has a very mixed crowd-- all ages/nationalities/sexual orientations, etc-- which is perfect for my eclectic mix of friends.
The only negative is that there is only one bathroom upstairs so you may have to trek down a flight of stairs to tinkle. But-chances are you won't notice because you'll be dancing all the way down :)
This place is also pretty small, so it can get quite packed-- but again, the crowd is pretty laid back so they don't get upset if you bump them on your way to the bar. Just make sure you throw up a cheers and a smile!
Hello, good times! The music is always a variety on any given night-Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You won't find only house music pumping here like in most Sobe clubs. The crowd is down to earth as well as the prices for drinks.
It's a hole in the wall club, but its our hole in the wall. Â It does get crowded.Making your way to the bar or up and down the bathroom stairs can become quite the chore after a couple of drinks, but you won't care. No one bothers you. It's great for a big group. There's seating for the non-dancers and the drinks/bottles are cheap.
Hidden in the back alley of Lincoln Road, is this local treasure that you have to experience just once to fall in love.
Buck 15 made me, among other things, thankful for good cab drivers. Ours was able to point out the grafittied entrance to Buck 15, despite zero signage and no lighting outside. So yes, be prepared to scour the street for this upstairs-only spot.
As stated by my colleagues, we were the only people there for at least an hour. Luckily we roll deep so what would typically be a pretty awkward situation for 3 or 4 became our own little private party. Shots were passed around, dances were danced, antics were made, and suddenly we found ourselves in the middle of one crazy gay manfest. And it was gorgeous.
The DJ was definitely the kind that some may turn their nose up toward, yet I loved. Yes, s/he played the Macarena and the Electric Slide, and yes s/he was a drag queen. And I loved every minute of it.
While I loved pretty much everything about this spot, I was seriously peeved when I ordered a glass of water and got one of those tiny airplane cups 1/4 full, no ice. Listen, bartender, I am drunk and sweaty, and if I'm drunk/responsible enough to be asking for water you best give me some. And if you only give me two sips you better believe I'll be bugging you soon for more. So yeah, don't be stingy... I gots to get back out on that dance floor.
Shake what yo mama gave you and then some on Thursday night at Buck 15. Yes it's technically filled with the handsomest and most dashing gay boys in Miami but ladies come for the dancing and stay for the fabulousness.
We made our way here after a long and wine filled dinner to an empty Buck 15. But when you're 15 Yelp CMs deep you are the party so much so that later on in the night we were bought a round by the house and we also managed to get a room full of cool SoBe boys to do the Electric Slide, ahh magic!
Thursdays are less crowded than Fridays and offer a varied mix of music. Sadly, it lacks hip-hop and it isn't a party without at least two ok three head bopping tunes at least give me some of that old Miami bass, booty music, I got two words for you: Uncle Luke!
Buck 15. By the Numbers.
14: people in our party.
11: female guests in our party.
2: people in our party that realized it was Gay Night prior to arriving.
0: Buck 15 patrons when we arrived.
10-20: Buck 15 patrons scared/turned off by 11 dancing women on Gay Night.
1: times the entire bar did the Electric Slide.
3: times I was told I am obviously straight.
2: times I was told that I need a different shirt if I was to pass for gay.
1: times I was told that my wrists need to be limper if I was to pass for gay.
0: times I asked how I could pass for gay.
1.5: bottles of wine I drank to my face before arriving.
5-9: shots/drinks had by me while there.
24: percentage chance I was coherent upon leaving.
As someone who has been denied access to clubs before due to attire (damn flip flops!), this is the place to be. They aren't looking to be elite or have a special clientele here. They just want everyone to have a good time... oh yeah, and make money; they don't even push the money part too much, very fairly priced drinks.
The few times I have been, they played good music. A good mix of stuff, lots of funk and older stuff (which is great, since I don't like most new music)
WARNING: Dress light, because it gets hotter than Satan's nacho farts.
I love this place.
It is the anti South Beach establishment that happens to be located on South Beach.
You don't need to be dressed to impress. You just need to come ready to dance and have a good time. There are no fancy VIP sections. There is no waitress service. There aren't very many places to sit. But that isn't what this place is about.
You come here to dance. To listen to great music (and occasionally some odd stuff, but its okay in the name of variety). You come to have a drink with friends.
Yes, it's really @#$%^&* hot. Yes, the bathrooms stink a little, but any bathroom frequented by drunks will. Yes, the drink line can be a little long sometimes, but not that bad.
It is still the best club I've been to. Because you feel immediately comfortable and can just have a good time. My kinda place.
Low key. Small. Hot - all connotations thereof. Diverse music mix. More funk than electronic. Tight quarters-- good for accidental touchy feely dancing and body squeezing as you make your way to the tiny bar.
I met a bunch of people here and had the good fortune of knowing a guardian angel with connections at the door - went in the back way. I'm too impatient to stand on most lines - especially a line to get into a tiny place where I'll be standing all night. If you have no angel- be prepared to wait if you get there after 11:30 or so on a weekend.
Can be a long wait for drinks, too- but I have a New York City Subway elbow move that works wonders - I get to the front of the bar in no time. The bottle service gets you in immediately (ick) - but I guess it's practical if you have a group. $100-120 for a bottle of top shelf stuff and mixers. If you have enough friends with you - it's probably a bargain.
As for the crowd. It's chill and casual. Jose Luis A. - one of my Yelp Masters - said it best -- "You do see Guidos and Hoochies here every now and then... that will hopefully stop happening before Armageddon strikes Miami."
Yes, Master. True it is. But Buck is still the least Miami Hoochie spot on South Beach to dance around, hang and chill. And no cover.
(Fun fact: Â "Guido" comes up in Yelp spell check- but not "Hoochie." )
The group wanted to go to Buck 15 on the same night as the UYE girls night out. I TOTALLY forgot about it, but it was great seeing everyone out.
When we arrived there was a line of about 20 people and so we decided to 'splurge' and get bottle service. They have the BEST bottle service in town! For just $120 (which includes tip and tax) you get everything you could want to mix with the bottle of Grey Goose!
The music was great and while it was packed, there was still enough room to shake it until we headed around the corner to Pizza Rustica. So fun...
Buck 15....you have become a dear friend.
Came here Friday night with the yelp ladies and busted some moves on the dance floor while listening to classics! Yes, there was Pink Floyd, Queen, Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, the Bee Gees, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and Snoop Dog among others. And, um, yes, the latter are classics too! I LOVED it! The variety of music only kept you guessing what was going to come on next and I was always pleasantly surprised. Sure there were people bumping into you as the night wore on, but isn't this the case in most clubs? I think I might just be a regular at this place.
So, pros: No cover. Cheaper drinks (for the beach), selection of music, and a great ambiance.
Cons: Seats were reserved for bottle service. Come on Buck 15, you're DEF not that kind of club! Beer selection not good (again, the case with a lot of clubs), and the drinks were eh. This is basically why I don't give it 5 stars.
All in all, a GREAT night. Lots of fun and was very impressed with the music. Buck 15, you had me at "Another one bites the dust"!
Errrrr..... don't know if I stopped in here on an off night, but it was totally nasty!
I went in here with some friends and was not at all impressed.... yes, no cover, but if they did charge cover I think I would have given it negative stars if possible. The music was mediocre at best, it took forever to get a drink, the bathroom was nasty and the place itself was dirty and smelled. We left after finishing one drink. I have no desire to go back to this place.
I have only been there twice but this is more like the place I used to go in my many travels.
Low key, down to Earth, with a more to the streets feeling the Buck 15 is the perfect place to feel like you are NOT in Miami. Nothing fancy here, just the regular crowd of young people who like to party and not ruin themselves in the Miami glamour and excess.
Beers are cheap ($5), the music is excellent (a nice mix of old and new) and even if it's small it is big enough to dance.
The only problem is that it can get crowded quickly so it gets hot and you keep bumping into someone. There's also a line to get in after a certain time.
Anyhow, I had a great night at Yelp's ladies night and hope to come back soon!
Cheers!
So I went back two weeks ago and I was sad to learn that they have changed owners and are therefore no longer going to be serving cheap drinks or their $5 buck specials... It was a sad moment in Buck 15 history...
Thankfully, the music and the vibe are just sooo damn good that it doesn't even matter to have to pay the typical club prices for a drink. The music is amazing- they had the DJ that used to play at SoHo here last time, and he took me back to my first clubbing days- he's amazing! He plays everything, I mean everything! He even played "come on lets twist again like we did last summer..." and "hit the road jack..." Oh it was great trying to figure out how to dance to those songs and not look like a lunatic- even though it doesn't matter if you look crazy, because it's Buck15 and nobody cares! It's all about having fun, getting loose, and that cliché- "dance like nobody's watching!"
I love you Buck and I always will!
Hands-down my favorite night spot in Miami.
Bouncer at the front gave us free cuts (thanks Fiona!) and we skipped the 30 min wait and immediately went to the bar for some rounds.
$8 a shot? Nice!
Place is rectangular big-ass party. No haters, no fakers. Thank you.
Shared my cigar with a group of friendly locals and danced the night away.
Hope this place remains a "secret" before the tourists takes over! ;)
Buck 15 = No fail fun!
So, it's gotten pretty packed for a while now... I use to enjoy no line access to straight partying when Buck 15 first emerged, but it's never too bad and worth the 5-10 minute wait. Best time to get there is before the crowd, so you can reserve your piece of the Goodwill donated couches (or go ahead and get a bottle, it's still a good deal). The party continues til late, so if you find a line outside... go get yourself a meal at Miss Yip, talk some, and come back. Well, worth to be in there when it's not uber packed so you impress your friends doing the Roger Rabbit and the Moon Walk... but not too fast, before you know it you'll be Making it Clap and doing the YMCA.
The music is all the hits, sounds like your iPOD but better. I got myself saying "That's my jam" a buck full of times!
Good, funky, cool crowd... let's keep it that way... I'm all for throwing people who don't belong there down the stairs, it's one of the few places that has been standing this long without being ruined by the Posh-Spice-Wannabe's.
Just got home from Buck 15. It's 5:05 AM on sunday morning and yes, I feel compelled to write about Buck 15 instead of passing out. Â Not sure if I'm making the right decision... Â anyway, got there at about 3am after a few hours at rokbar. Â short line out front but we waited about 15 minutes to get in... honestly, that's way it's 4 stars instead of 5. i understand the line (it was busy) Â but it's still annoying. Â Once we got in the manager (?) Â got me and my friend a round, he heard it was her bday while we were in line bitching about the wait. Â Music was great. Â Space is small, but people weren't all up on us. Â tons of fun. Â and when it emptied out just a little, the dj played some oldies and swing ... holy awesomeness.
Overall:
Wait to get in - worth it. Â Send a friend across the street to get you a coffee at David's. Â You'll need it to keep dancing all night.
Prices- not sure.. didn't pay for anything (which is worth a star all in itself!)
Music - fantastic!!! Â great variety, plenty of classics
Crowd - fun. really fun. and relaxed.
Bathroom - ugh, another line. Â unless you know about the secret bathroom. Â but i'm not telling.
Super chill spot, def on the circuit.
Time to pass out.
Buck 15 is a great low-key spot to drink, dance, and just chill, located just off Lincoln Road above Miss Yip. Â Since word got out about its low drink prices and just general awesomeness, it definitely packs in the crowds on weekends and weeknights alike. Â The best way to enjoy all that Buck has to offer is to get there early or really late.
I always have a great time there. Â Sometimes waiting on line for a place is worth it - and Buck 15 is one of those places. Â Plus, there's never a cover - so what do you have to lose?
This is hands down the coolest bar in Miami. Â If it were in LA, I would be there all the time. Â It is small, people are hella friendly, the drinks are strong and the tunes are dancing tunes. I danced. After the stroke of midnight, it was my bday, and dammit, I danced my little patootie off. Â I even got the dh to dance. Â He makes funny faces when he dances, so it is a rare occurrence. Â I love this bar.
This is a small place. Come early, because after 11 it gets really crowded.  We were there for about an hour, from 11 to 12:15 or so.  During that time we got to hang  on the uber long (for a room that small) banquette.  After about 12 they started to sell the banquette as bottle service space, and being that we were already kinda tipsy and almost ready for bed, we decided to bail.
You enter the Buck 15 from a side alley, and go up some vierd stairs. Â The bar is housed in what looks like an office space. Â There are 2 things I don't love. Â The bar is small, really just a service bar. So there is nowhere to belly up to. And there is only one bathroom for both genders, and stupid young girls like to go in an use it together. Â GTFO of there, you idiots. Â The bday girl needs to pee!
Also, be sure to check out the art scattered throughout. My personal favorite piece was an installation along the back wall using "Lil Homies" and "Mijos". Â If you don't know what Lil Homies are, talk to the hand.
<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.homies.tv%2Fhome.htm&s=f6a200571cde8f4567161043e726fe3fdab1f788c3b79ebb944c460794790d55" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.homies.tv/hom…</a>
That I am just now reviewing this place after being on Yelp for almost a year is pathetic! Â Considering that this is my other Go-To spot besides Purdy.
Ahhh, what can I say about Buck 15 that hasn't already been said? Â It's unpretentious and I've never paid a cover. Â It's one of the few places on the beach where you can actually go with friends to chill, hang out, drink, and enjoy an eclectic bunch... Â There's a definite B-Boy scene here, and you can often find collections of hand painted sneakers by some of Miami's best Local Artists! Â
Tuesday night is the night to be here, as it always has a hip crowd. Â The music always rocks here, as they seem to have some great DJs spinning here (shout-out to Keen1). Â You can hear anything from some rock -n- roll to hip-hop (mostly) and the vibe is always groovin'. Â Reasonable drinks, but still remember its South Beach, and better yet, off Lincold Road. Â
Great times, great vibe, great people. Â Never a bad time can be had at Buck 15. Â Great place to start your night or make your night. Â See you there!
Remember your sophomore year crush, the one who wore that funky hat everywhere? If he owned a bar, it would look a lot like this: a chill, un-clubby hangout decorated with hipster memorabilia (Ghost World figurines, japanese toys), a rotating local art collection and comfy thrift store-style couches.
I'm not convinced he'd charge $10 for a rum and coke, though. Sophomore Hat Guy was way cooler than that. Even if he did dump you for that chick with the eyeliner. (You might run into her here, by the way.)
I can't help but feel like I'm visiting a friends apartment when I go to this place. A friends apartment with a bar, DJ and tons of fun art on the walls.
Not your typical Miami Beach crowd AT ALL. So don't go to Buck 15 expecting the pretty, pretentious people and the expensive drinks. Do go expecting to listen to great music and have a good time. This place is scene-ish without being super indie and annoying. There are plenty of comfy couches and chairs to lounge in while enjoying a drink or five.
Fact: I broke a coffee table while dancing about  a year ago. So if you're sitting towards the back of the lounge, second to last seating area to the right, my apologies. It was my birthday and I was just trying to have some fun.
Check out their website for a list of events and DJs.
