Buffalo Joe's Howard Street

I normally go to the Buffalo Joes in Evanston, but this is my second time at this location. This place is just a little closer to me and it has a parking lot, which is always nice. I just saw an article on Yahoo featuring this as "Top 5 Wing Places in Chicago".

The wings here taste similar to the ones at Evanston, which are amazing and perfect in every way. Though I will have to say the Evanston one is a little better. The only thing was they didn't have waffle fries at this location. They have regular fries which are seasoned. I was skeptical at first when they told me this because waffle fries at the other location complements the wings perfectly. The fries here are good, but it still doesn't compare to the waffle fries. Another thing about this place is that they have rib tips, which was decent.

Double order of Suicide wings is where it's at. The wings could be more meaty though.

Wings are overrated here.  I enjoyed seeing my piping hot wings and tasting the tiny wings' tasty meat and perfect crispy skin.  But I am not a fan of the shallow flavor of the suicide buffalo sauce (it's not that spicy compared to BWW's blazin' sauce).  Hot dogs were overcooked and the cheese on the chili dog tasted plastic.  However, the waffle fries were crispy and great!  My trip all the way out to Evanston for these wings were not worth it, despite all the other reviews.
