We almost always order online and pick up our food to go. We typically order on Tuesdays or Thursdays when they have their boneless wing special. 8 out 10 times our order is missing something....be it the ranch we paid for to an entire box of wings. Â They usually read the order to you off of the receipt before they hand you the bag but that doesn't help if we aren't looking in the bag. I have also been told by a supervisor that when they get the online order they have to ring it in the register themselves and sometimes that is where they miss stuff. The manager staff is always very accommodating though and tries their best to make things right. Wings are usually hot and fresh but sometimes the size is a little disappointing and I wonder how they even could add it go the count of wings in the order.
Review Source:Not impressed...
The BF ran over and grabbed some take out while we were staying at the Hampton Inn nearby, and the food was incredibly bland. We paid about $8 for the spinach and artichoke dip which severely lacked in flavor. The BF got 2 different flavored boneless wings, spicy BBQ and Lemon Pepper. He said he wasn't very thrilled with his meal either. He said that since they were getting ready to close down, they didn't take the time and effort to provide the same "quality" they may have earlier in the day. The bit of sauce he did have, he enjoyed, but it was lacking flavor.
Since it was takeout, I can't personally note on the atmosphere (although he says the over abundance in teeny bopping teens wearing jerseys with pink pens don't make up for the lack in flavor... and he's a GUY!). What can I say, I've taught him to be as obsessed with good food as I am!
The phone customer service was very nice though.
I like Buffalo Wild Wings. Their food is kind of greasy but that's just the type of food it is. Their wings are good and I like the different choices of sauces and rubs. My favorite thing to eat there are the nachos. I usually order a beer and it always comes out cold and refreshing. There are TV's everywhere and it's a good place to go to watch a game with friends.
Review Source:The fact that you can have wings pretty much any way you want them, makes Buffalo a place to enjoy them. Â
Typical sports bar atmosphere and every once in awhile you see someone trying to eat the hottest wings on the menu in 6 minutes to get a free t-shirt..............
Free t-shirt for a stomach ache for days, I'll pass.
I had a few good late night experiences where it was midnight and my bf and I were craving a snack and we were able to call in and get an order of wings to go. So the other night when we wanted to go out for a snack we thought why not try here.
I think they were annoyed that they had to serve us at 11 pm (though, why stay open til 2 then?) because the first order of wings we got literally tasted is if they were left over and just reheated in the microwave (very rubbery) and they literally didn't even try to hide it because there was just a drizzle of sauce over the top.. the wings NEVER look like that. The second batch we received was one of the medium heat orders.. it was so spicy we had to stop eating them because it caused physical pain. Um, they were medium heat at hottest, so why were these burning our faces off?
And the most annoying thing of all is that when the bill came it was $30! For a soda, some carrots and celery and two 6piece orders of wings. It has never been that expensive and I don't like being taken advantage of.
Group of six sat in the bar during happy hour. My friend and I both ordered the roasted mushroom appetizer for before our meals. Only one appetizer was brought out, and it was brought with our meals. Server said the other one would be out shortly. We asked for some ranch dressing for our fries and my boyfriend's wings.
Five minutes go by and she is no where to be found. Finally, some other guy (manager I think) brings our mushrooms and I see our ranch on his tray. My friend tells him we don't want the mushrooms because they were supposed to be an appetizer. He apologizes and walks away with the mushrooms but also my ranch. I gave up on my quest for ranch so I could eat my fries while they were still hot. Server came up and asked if we wanted the mushrooms since they would be on the house. We said no because we didn't like them anyway.
My friend's husband had to flag down the server  to refill my tea which had been empty for a while. All in all, I will probably not go to this location again. It was a slow time of day and they still couldn't stay on top of things.
Definitely a good place to sit down and enjoy the game and a drink if you're okay with the loud atmosphere. They have really good wings (of course) and a variety of flavors and sauces. I prefer honey BBQ and blue cheese dipping sauce but you really can't go wrong. You can even get as little as four of each wing flavor if you want to mix and match. They charge 60c for sauces but you can ask for samples of sauces AND BEERS TOO!
The customer service tends to range depending on who you get but I've been happy most of the time. Make sure you go on Tuesday or Thursday to get their deal on wings!
The worst experience I've yet to have in a restaurant. Â Walk in and wait for the hostess, who proceeds to continue her conversation with a waitress as she completes her story about the "hot" guy she just met; then languidly strolls over and says, "Hey Guys", not a hello, how are you, not diddly squat! Â She grabs two menu's and walks off without a word then looks back to see if we are following.... Â Really? Â
Her hostessing skills are definitely lacking. Â 1st strike against this place! Â
Waitress (Samantha) finally comes after 10 minutes of us sitting and waiting to place an order. Â Food then takes 25 minutes to appear in which time I don't see her again. Â NO refills, no how are you doing, no nothing..... Â So, while we are waiting for our food, I have LOTS of time to write our review. Â
Customer service at this point stinks!!! Â 2nd strike against this place!
After we eat a somewhat unimaginative salad and burger we wait another 15 minutes before getting up and finding someone to bring us our check. Â Again, once she delivered our meals, no check back to see if we need anything, no Nada! Â
Slow food service! Â 3rd strike against this place!
So, lousy hostessing skills, inattentive waitress, and slow food service just doesn't entice one to try this place again. Â And frankly, I don't plan to ever again.
This BWW is sadly lacking and if if weren't a chain, they would probably be out of business by now. Â If I could have given 1/2 star, I would have done so.
Save yourself the headache and spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere!
I eat here ALL THE TIME! way more than i should! but I just cannot get enough of their wings!
I am obsessed with their boneless wings and their chicken wraps. Their parmesan garlic and teriyaki sauces are my personal favorite.
The prices are very affordable and they have special wing deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The atmosphere is very loud, so if you are looking for a private and intimate setting, this is not it. They have TV's on every inch of the walls and there are multiple sports games playing at all times.
The also have a full bar which is perfect for game nights!
The service is usually pretty good although I am pretty sure my order is wrong 75% of the time and I have to send it back. I am just used to it at this point. Also, beware that the service is usually slow so make sure you are not going when you are in a hurry.
Regardless of the service, I just love the food!
I LOVE THIS PLACE ok so this place is so fun to go to. Â I went with my friend and this guy walks up and says he is our Guest Experience Captain all I could do was laugh he really loved what he did. Â So we had a choice of 100 different tv's to look at from small to huge. Â Our captain let us do Sauce tasting and we tasted 10 different one's we even created a few of them by mixing them. Â We had fun they also have this game you play at the table watching the TV screen pretty cool. Â We have some great food I did not like the Nacho cheese sauce yucky DO NOT try. Â I did say something and to my surprise this good looking Mgr guy came and handed me a card gave me a free Entree and also gave me my meal for FREE what I was so blown away. Â They really make it a great place to have some good food. Â We even got a great cake and ice cream for my BFF's birthday what a great time we had I WILL BE BACK.
Review Source:I normally like BWW, but this location really needs to change. I've gone here a few times with others to watch the football games on Sunday. The first time we went, they mixed up our order and gave the wrong wings. The next time we go, the server came by every 10 minutes asking if we were going to order something else. This was a bit strange because the place wasn't that full and we had ordered quite a bit of food to begin with (we even ordered something to make him stop pestering us). Then we go again and the wings tasted a little cold. Also, one of my 'wings' was one of those "odds and end" pieces that definitely shouldn't have been served. I thought I should give this place another shot, but each additional visit keeps proving me wrong. It's sad because they do have some tasty wings...
Review Source:I came here with a friend after doing some shopping at Folsom Palladio. Â It was a Tuesday so they had their 60 cents/wing. Â We ordered buffalo chips, Â mango habenero, Asian zing, and lemon pepper. Â Service sucked. Â Our server, Samantha, was barely ever seen and it took her 10 mins to acknowledge us with some water. Â And no at the time it was not busy, more than half of the restaurant was empty and bar only had a few people sitting there.. seen a lot of workers standing around talking to each other. Â Manager ended up being the person to bring us our food. Â By then though, our food was cold and we're not appetizing. Â Flavor on the Asian Zing and Mango Habenero were good. Â Its sweet and spicy. Wing stop has better lemon pepper chicken wings though. Â I saw tons of tables waiting to be cleaned the whole time I was there. Â Not worth the trip back.
Review Source:Buffalo Wild Wings is the place I go when I think about having tasty appetizers, some flavorful wing sauces, and a beer while watching sporting events. The wings are ok, better than most, but not the best. What makes them good is the 15 different sauces that you can pick from; from the mildest mild all the way to the atomic hot. I personally like the Asian Zing because it's hot, but also sweet at the same time. I'm still trying to find someone who will eat the atomic hot flavored wings and not stop after two. Great happy hour prices, but premium brew gets expensive ($7.50 for a pint of Sam Adams.)
Review Source:We have been going to this BWW for the past year and enjoyed it.
Our  last visit on 9/20/12 at 4pm turned us off due to the lack of waitress service. It wasnt even busy. Awful and unattentive, no refills on drinks, placed our wing order wrong with no explanation as why she ordered it the way she did and you could just tell she didn't like working there. We haven't experienced service like this before but it was enough to turn us off and write this review. Â
Managers please train your waiters and waitress that they are there to serve customers and if they show enthusiasm it reflects in great tips!
Very disappointed and won't be returning any time soon.
A group of us have been going to BWW once every other week for the last year or so mainly because it's close to work and we generally love wings and beer.
I've only had three types of food here. Â Chips and salsa, mozzarella sticks, and wings. Â And of course, beer. Â The wings here are better than at Hooters mainly because we don't get feel like crap the next morning. Â For some reason it used to happen more than we'd like at Hooters. Â But the wings alone are enough to keep us coming back to BWW.
BWW has enough sauces for wings to satisfy most people. Â But I do love the Chipotle dry rub. Â That's definitely worth a try. Â It's like eating chicken poppers with a tinge of chipotle.
Service is hit or miss depending on the server.
The trivia and poker played through tabletop units or through smartphone are a hit with our party. Â Plus, it's fun to shout a little smack to the regulars when you beat them (or vice versa).
Unfortunately, the price is the real downer. Â It used to be 50 cents for bone-in wongs on Tuesday and boneless wings on Thursday. Â That's now 60 cents. Â Maybe the high cost of corn has led to higher feed prices for chicken and thus wings. Â And what's up with the price of beer during Happy Hour? Â $1 OFF draft beer still means $4-5 for a pint. Â I feel pretty ripped off at those pint prices. Â There are some places in Folsom that serve ice cold beer in an ice cold pint glass for $2 during HH...sushi place near Whole Foods.
Food: 4 stars
P/C: 2.5 stars
Service: 3.5 stars
This place always has a good atmosphere. Even on a night where there isn't a huge sporting event going on, there is good company. The food is good. Their original hot wings are pretty spicy! They aren't as good as Wing Stop in my opinion, but they are better than Hooters.
Only con is the TERRIBLE music they play!!! Nickleback??? Really?!
I have to start by saying I've been going to this BWW for 1 1/2 years, have usually had very good service, and the food has always been good.
But something happened during my visit tonight that really grossed me out. Â Since when is it ok for someone to chew tobacco and spit in a cup in a restaurant? Â Yes, we were sitting in the bar area, but it's still a restaurant and most people along the bar were eating food. Â We mentioned something about it to the bartender, Emily who offered to talk to the guy because she was pretty disgusted by it too. Â But that's when the manager walked up and started chatting with the guy like they were friends. Â So it was pretty obvious telling him about it wasn't going to matter.
Great job Mr. Manager. Â You just lost a loyal regular customer. Â By the way, your buddy was spitting in one of your restaurant's paper cups. Â Nice advertisement...
Just wanted to say that I received the best service from Carol a few weeks ago. I came in with a couple of co-workers for lunch on Tuesday and Carol was efficient and expedited our orders as well as our check. She was great.
Oh, and the food is good as well :) I love the dry rubs. Salt and Vinegar is my favorite.
Just had dinner here after a long day of river rafting. The food was good and satisfying, better than the location close to home (the Saratoga location.) Not sure if it was because the food was really was just better or if it just tasted better because the service was great. We had a group of seven, so they had to move a couple tables together. But we were still seated right away, which never happens at home. Also, our server, Veronica, was really prompt and hella nice (pretty too :P). She was more engaging than other servers I've had at Saratoga. I usually tip closer to 15%, but due to her great service I gave 20%. I only tip more if the service was really good so yeah.
Next time I'm in the area and craving wings, I'm definitely going here and asking for her.
When Buffalo Wild Wings first opened up and I drove by and saw TVs everywhere playing sports, I had no interest in going there. I am not a sports fan, that said, my husband is, majorly. Yeah, right, how did I marry a sports nut? And he loves wings. So, I got dragged here one time a couple of years ago and now I am hooked. Why you may ask? TRIVIA!!
They have the Buzztime Trivia system! Basically certain TVs display trivia questions and you request a linked in keyboard for submitting your answers. You are then ranked against all people currently playing and at the end of the game you can even compare your scores against local and national high scores. Different days and times have different types of games and different themes. I am addicted to the trivia. I try to think of any excuse I can to eat here and get my trivia fix. Yes, I am a wealth of useless information...except at BWW!
Food and service-wise, I was not all that thrilled with the wings, but I love the Honey BBQ Chicken sandwich and onion rings. None of it is that special, (except the onion rings, which I think are delicious with the southwest sauce for dipping) but it is satisfying. The service can be hit or miss depending on time of day and your server, but it has never been horrendous. Just that some are more attentive than others.
Plus, this place is always distracting enough that we can bring a squirming toddler and no one bats an eye.
OMG, it's my new pet peeve: Restaurants with Juke Boxes where you can spend lots of money only to have staff or in this case the manager Steve just cancel your pick. I actually confronted him on it, and he told me that they were trying to keep a sports bar atmosphere. Well how about not having those songs available, how about ripping out the machine, how about turning it off. But, no, just let people waste their money.
He did offer to refund me some money which I did not want. But of course, one little customer is irrelevant in the big scheme of things!
Imagine you're in a Jewish deli. On the menu they have a BBQ Pork Sandwich. You order it and pay for it. Then after you take your first bite, someone whisks it away because, after all, pork isn't Kosher. But unless you find the manager and complain, you still pay for it.
The food here is well, BWW. Â Tasty enough (though small...) chicken wings, and the Thai sauce that they now have is pretty good. Â Ok, It's so good I bought a bottle....
Kudos to the manager and the wait staff- Â Had gift card issues that took a long time to figure out. Â They gave up and made it right with freebies. Â Seriously, this kind of stuff make you want to come back. thanks guys!!!
I've visited this Wild Wings location more than five times--once for dinner and multiple times with coworkers. Every time they are consistent: no wait to sit at a table, speedy food preparation, constant drink refills, friendly staff, tasty food, and reasonable prices.
The last few times I've gone, have been during the workweek at lunch. Most recently, our server, Carol (I think it was), asked if we were on a time constraint for lunch, sped up our food order, got our order right, kept the drink refills coming, gave us to-go drink refills toward the end, gave us our bills (individual checks) with our food, and got us in and out at a great pace for a workday lunch hour. She rocked it with great service.
As a note, they have great lunch specials at very reasonable prices. I usually get the 8 boneless wings with fries (and carrots instead of celery). On Tuesdays they do have $0.50 wings; Thursdays are their boneless wings special days.
The service and quality of our last visit here was so outstanding we all vowed to write reviews about it and we'll definitely be going back.
First off, the $.50 wing deal on Tuesday is sweet. Â Six wings and a beer for 6 bucks??? Â How can you go wrong there. Â
All the staff I have come into contact with is friendly and efficient. Â My second time in Emily at the bar took great care of me and was really nice to chat with. Â She let me try a few different beer before I chose the one I like the most( I love when bartenders are willing to do that!).
The draft beer selection is broad and tasty. Â The Wings sauce menu is daunting to say the least. Â If you can't make a decision on the sauce selection the bartenders are a good go to, especially when pairing with beer.
Hankering for wings and beer? Â You wont be let down here!
It's so true that good or bad customer service can really affect how you perceive a certain establishment. We had prompt drink service upon arriving but we were told that someone else would be taking our order. That someone never came. We finally flagged down one of the many young waitresses who were standing around chatting.
The food was okay. I had the sweet BBQ wings which were tasty. My husband had the spiciest wings they offer (Blazin'). He loves very hot things and said they were decently hot but not out of control.
I was surprised how many young families were there. The place is incredibly loud and the black walls are kind of depressing. The nice thing is if my baby cries, no one can hear it! There are televisions everywhere.
Suffice it to say its a great place for guys, especially sports fans. But as a family place...we won't be going back.
**This is for Sunday 11/13/11 at about 3 pm**
Came over here in a very bad mood after recieving horrible service at BJ's across the street.
Was greeting quickly by Amanda, who also told us she was our server. She took us to a nice table by a large screen t.v. and took our drink order. Hubby and I were in a pretty bad mood and she quickly turned it around. Amanda was cheerful, fast (several tables around us were occupied) and was on top of drink refills, napkins, etc. Our food came out in a timely manner, was hot, and tasted great. Â I had to use the bathroom and it was clean and there was plenty of soap and paper towels. (always a plus!)
I cannot say enough good things about this location. We made it a point to talk with a Manager, who came right out by the way, and let her know about our bad experience across the street and how, after coming here, Amanda was terrific and turned an awful afternoon into a good one, the Manager was delighted and invited us back. We will totally come back to this location! Â ***THEY KNOW WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT***
P.S. Beer was great too!
Went here on a Fri eve, and it was PACKED. Â We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and it was SUPER loud and rowdy. Â Somewhat expected for the type of restaurant. Â
I ordered a punch type cocktail that was super yummy and my bf ordered a beer ($7 and $6.26 for a pint- kind of expensive). Â We ordered southwest bites. Â Little fried triangles filled with cheese, corn, beans. Â They were pretty good, but there were only like 5 or so to share. Â
This were it started getting bad. Â I ordered a chinese chicken salad ($9)and my bf ordered a crispy ranch chicken sanwich ($8). Â
My salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce, cabbage, chicken, a couple of mandarin oranges and a couple tortilla chips. Â SO NOT worth $9 and some change.
My bf's chicken sandwich was very plain as well....
I'm only giving it 2 stars because I liked the cocktail and appie.... I would have much rather spent our $55 elsewhere.
I wanted so badly to like this place. It has beer and wings and more TVs than Best Buy and Sam's Club put together.
My first two experiences were not great to say the least. Slow, slow, slow service and so so food. The third and final attempt to get a meal from this place turned out to be a disaster.
We needed food and want to watch the Giants game. As we walked up we noticed 3 TVs on outside. One showing the game. All outside tables were open so we figured we were golden. Unfortunately that was not the case.
We were greeted by a hostess that couldn't have been more than 17. She had a scowl on her face that said "I hate my job and I don't want to help you at all". I asked if we could sit outside. She said she would check. She didn't move. Next my wife asked her again if we could sit out side. "Fine I'll go check."
2 minutes later. "We aren't seating outside". But the TVs are on out there????? OK Table for 4 please. "It will be about 30 minutes". But I can count 13 empty tables. "The kitchen needs to get caught up". BS. "We only have 4 servers".
Needless to say we bolted and went to the Sports Garage where they had half off appys and great service. I can't understand why the parking lot here is always packed. I will never be back.
I visit this place occasionally for the 50 cent wing Tuesday action, and so far, I've liked it just fine. The service can be a bit spotty, but the people are super-friendly, and the wings are pretty damn good! The mango habanero and desert heat flavors are my favorites.
I haven't tried any of the other menu items - strictly wings so far - so I can't speak to the other stuff, but the wings don't suck.
F.Y.I: Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't live up to the hype and doesn't leave you going wild about their wings! Â This was my second time eating at this restaurant and I remembered the wings being fairly good when I made my first dining experience in Orlando, FL. Â Sooooooooo...I decided to go with my friend to experience his first visit at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The decor of the restaurant immediately caught my attention...from the neon signs to the millions of TVs around the restaurants showing sports and good aromas making my tummy more hungry to get some wings. Â We were seated immediately and our server's name was "Batman". By far Batman saved the night and made this dining experience more fun and enjoyable....A Gold Star Sticker, 2 Thumbs Up, and a FUC'd for Batman! Â As far as the food goes....whomp whomp whomp! We ordered 6 wings w/ medium sauce and they were cold and not appetizing at all. Â I mean I know its a sports bar and you can really expect too much...But really...serving it in a paper tray w/ a sticker that says"medium"? I guess its a good way to eliminate any confusion with the servers and customers eating the wings. Really theres' not much more to say about the wings since I cant say anything nice about them....
As far as the atmosphere goes...its a great place to have fun with your homies, get drunk & eat food for a cheap price (only during happy hour). Â Happy Hour deals include $3 appetizers, domestic talls, and your choice of a cocktail w/ jack, captain, or absolut. Â You can also play video trivia or poker with your personal hand help device, pick your favorite tunes on the juke box, watch sports, or dare your friend's to do the Blazin' Challenge (12 wings in 6 min)....and believe me the sauce is Blazin Hot and the tip of my tongue was not happy with me at all for taking a sample of the sauce. Â
Unfortunately, Buffalo Wild Wings left us disappointed about the food...but the service was awesome and we still had a grrrrreat time playing trivia and listening to Janet, De La Soul, Fugees, and Eryakah Badu! Â That's all for now Yelpers...so remember to drink responsibly!
Take the TV section at Best Buy, up the decibel to about 110 (think jackhammer), Â add tables, beer, and wings; you now have yourself a Buffalo Wild Wings. Â
After hearing many wonderful things about the chain, I took the opportunity to check them out. Â Honestly, this place makes a mean wing. Â I really found every variety of wing I tried to be delicious sans the boneless wings. Â That, however, is where the praise stops. Â Eat anything else on the menu and you'll quickly find that this place isn't even trying. Â I tried the bacon bbq burger once and I could still see the tire marks on it. Â Nasty stuff.
Past the food, I think many people would find the shock and awe environment a bit jarring. Â It's really kind of overkill. Â The servers, while prompt, are constantly trying to up-sell you on items and it can be pretty annoying after a while. Â At one point, our server even brought over a small touchscreen TV with games on it so we could swipe our sauce stained fingers on it and play games. Â It guess they felt that the seizure inducing TV programming wasn't enough to keep us entertained. Â
Some other items struck me as odd. Â First, this place has about 200 servers working at any given time. Â The staff levels are insane. Â Personally I'm convinced BWW is raising an army. Â Second, they have the strangest marketing campaign ever. Â There are a bevy of pictures featuring an angry chicken trying to bust out of jail. Â Frankly I'm perplexed by the emotion they are trying to evoke. Â I'm I supposed to think this chicken is on death row for heinous crimes against hens, and his justice is coming in the form of my meal? Â
BWW sells any sauce they put on their wings. Â Do yourself and your wallet a favor; buy the sauce and make your own wings. Â You'll save a chunk of change, a foamed mouth, and a visit from the paramedics.
Ugh... what is there to say? You will feel as though you have been robbed when you leave unless you drink enough overpriced beer to forget.
The food is terrible, the beer is overpriced, the service is awful. It is amazing how quickly a workforce can become disgruntled.
Literally, the only redeeming factor is the Buzztime trivia, Buck Hunter, and the dozens of TVs.
If you go to eat, you will be disappointed. Everything on the menu was placed there with one thing in mind, "how much can we get away with to achieve the greatest profit?"
I gave it a fair shot, having ordered at least 6 things off the menu, not including wings, which are extremely average and normally served cold.
Example 1: $10 Blackened Chicken Salad
Bag lettuce with a 3 ounce chicken breast and a pouch of salad dressing (yes, a little plastic pouch). I have literally seen better salads at gas stations.
Example 2: $9 Crispy Chicken Wrap
Cold, over battered, fried chicken tender wrapped in cold tortilla with bagged shredded cheese that tastes like nothing, mushy tomato, dried out lettuce and a sauce of your choice. I had three bites and had them throw it away.
Example 3: $9 Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich
Take the Crispy Chicken Wrap and throw it on a bun... This is a recurring theme throughout the menu. When you break it down, there are about 3 things on the menu, all wrapped in different, terrible casings.
Finally, the service: OMG, the service... Every waitress I have had has been unprofessional, never punctual, and never checks on the table after the food arrives. I once went 30 minutes without eating because they forgot my sauce, but there was no one to ask for it. Beyond that, they all seem to hate working there, and are not afraid to share with the table.
Bottom line, do not go to Wild Wings. I honestly felt as if I was being robbed every time I went and will never go back again, regardless of the dozens of TVs put into place to distract from the awful experience elsewhere.
Yes, they are a chain.  Not sure what that means, since there plenty of really bad restaurants in Folsom that aren't part of a chain.  But ordering a fish sandwich at a  wing joint?  Really?  There are a lot of great options on the menu, but seriously, if you go to a place that has "Buffalo Wings" in the name and order a fish sandwich,  you should probably expect  to  be disappointed!  Isn't that a bit like going to a Quentin Tarantino film and then complaining that it was too violent?
As to doing mediocre business, I guess it's like Yogi Berra famously said, "Nobody goes there any more, it's too crowded." Â Wait times for a table are generally 20-30 minutes or longer, and the parking lot is jam packed.
I'm told they have great burgers, but I doubt I'll ever find out. Â BWW is all about the wings, and when it comes to wings, I'm very picky and I've never had better. Â BJ's across the street makes a pretty good wing, but these are hands down the best wings I've ever had. Â You can order them with all drumettes, no problem, not even an upcharge like Hooters and Wingstop throw at you.
Amazing assortment of sauces and seasonings. Â If you don't like wings, you can get boneless skinless white meat, given the same wing treatment. Â But again, you don't like wings, what are you doing here? Â
To my taste, wings should be hot, and the sauce labeled "hot" didn't disappoint.   I may get brave and go for one of the  even more assertive, super-hot options next time . . . or not.  Hot is plenty hot.  I also tried the jerk, Asian, and medium, which were all good.
My only gripe, and one that I have almost 100% of the time with wings, is that they could be crispier. Â BJ's is the only place so far that has really gotten the message when I say I want them "extra crispy." Â I think it's a time thing. Â It takes longer to get them really crispy, and with all those people clamoring for wings, they don't want to take up any extra time in the fryer is my guess.
The service was first rate. Â Yes, they just opened, so there is an occasional glitch. Â That is forgivable. Â Where it matters, they are consistently friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive without being bothersome, and it comes across as genuine. Â Â It's refreshing to find a restaurant where you don't feel like you're bothering the staff by showing up! Â Â
Let's not forget the prices. Â I'm not a cheapskate, but I don't like being gouged. Â The tab for my wife and I came to only about $15 total, so I felt pretty good about that. Â They do feature a lot of promotions, online coupons, free wings if you take their survey and other ways to keep the costs down if you're pinching pennies.
As to the fish sandwich, well maybe if a place opens up that has "Fish Sandwich" in the name, I'll see how their fish sandwich tastes. Â Â For WINGS, you'd be hard pressed to find any better than at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Uuggghhhh, another chain restaurant in Folsom doing mediocre business. Â OK, I ordered the Fish sandwich because I'm not a wing fan, but my husband is. Â Anyway, I asked for tarter sauce and was brought two little pre-packaged tarter sauce. Â You know, like mayo comes in. Â Boo! Â Ordered onion rings instead of the fries......"sorry, the cooks say we don't have any right now"! Â Uh, what? We had some big onions on our sandwiches, so this tells me that they use frozen rings. Â Boo! Â Boo!! Come on, you have onions and beer....shouldn't be too hard to fry up some from scratch and improve your status in the chain category.
Onto the wings. Â My husband ordered two kinds, said they were pretty good but they were REALLY light on the sauce. Â We had to order additional.
They just opened, so maybe they will improve.....let's hope or they will go the way of the other chains (Ruby Tuesday, Applebees, Black Angus...gone). Â
For those who like a sports bar atmosphere, this would be a good place for the wings, beer and Sports, since they have a hundred or so flat screen TV's in the place.
