It seems that most people know where their bread is buttered when it comes to their sports bar.  BWW usually has a crowd and if there is a particular event happening it can be down right over packed.  Over the years I've come for my Sunday ticket fix, my pay per view UFC fix, and too many happy hours to keep track of.  I always stick to the chicken and the beer, its what they do best.  Although they have recently added some hot dogs to the menu.  They can't mess up hot dogs right?

The wings usually come out freaky quick.  And the "Hot" is not messing around, it's very hot.

NTN is a big plus if you like poker or trivia.  Service runs hot and cold, usually a toss of the dice.

Service was a bit slow for our group. Should have had another person to serve our group. The food wasn't bad.

I've been to this location twice -- both times with my family, including my 2 young nieces.  I think the wings are great -- very tasty and a huge variety of flavorings.  Of course, it is a wing place so I would hope the wings are good.  My problem is that they don't have many menu options beyond wings.  That has been a problem for my family, especially the kids in the group.   I wish they had more menu items and more items for the kids.  On the upside, the service has been very good.  Finally, it's a loud place, but that's expected at a sports place.

I dig B-Dubs, but I cannot of a place that is more over-priced ... .  I do appreciate that B-Dubs, at least, serves real chicken rather than steroid-laden robo-wings.  Notwithstanding, the sauces and 100s of TVs just do not justify the price.

This service and food is about what I'd expect from a sports bar/wing place. Service was ok enough and the chicken was cooked pretty good and tasty with sports on tv.

My only gripe was that the boneless chicken wings were pretty small. Small enough that our table with only 3 people really eating them almost were able to finish a 50 piece of wings and none of us are all that big so that's saying something.

I'll probably go back if a big game or something is on but not just for a night out.

Ordered wings from BWW 4 days before the Super Bowl. Was told we have a great system and your food would be ready at 6:15. People were waiting for an hour and a half. They staff was rude and did not want to help. Took them over 50 minutes to get me my food. I then asked to talk to a manager and the manager was scared to talk to people. Said it was a kitchen problem and he would find a manager from the kitchen. This was the biggest cluster F..... The place was empty compared to other football weekends. Don't ever order your wings for the Super Bowl from this BWW. They lost another customer.

Doubt we will go back again just because it wasn't that special for the money, just okay.

Unimpressed.  A/C blowing in January made it feel cold, drafty and uncomfortable.  Had wings and fried pickles.  Service and food were mediocre at best.  Too many servers standing around the hostess station make it look like they have nothing to do but get in the way.  Definitely wasn't given a reason to come back.  I've had better wings at the Fosters Grill in Haymarket.

Really poor franchise. First of all I want to say I really enjoy other Buffalo Wild Wings just not this one. It is forever cold in the restaurant and will I was there to watch the big game and spend quite a bit of money. I ordered my first beer and was asked for my id, which is a United Kingdom driving licence. Never before have I been denied a drink in 4 years of living here with it but the way the treated me because of it was awful. It kept getting passed from one to another trying to work out what it was. Eventually I got it back and was told they could not except it. I asked why and they made up some excuse to which I just left.
I will not be back but other BWW's I will be.

I am a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. I never visited this location but figured I would stop in since I was already in the area running some errands. The server was obviously new so I will give him a pass on the mediocre service. I ordered 12 honey barbecue wings and a Mountain Berry Iced Tea. The drink was a little weak but that was to be expected. I visit the Buffalo Wild Wings in Manassas, VA on a biweekly basis and have come to expect great tasting food.  I received my wings after waiting about 30 minutes for my order. The wings has little to no honey barbecue sauce on it. They were simple dry roasted wings. I asked my server for some extra honey barbecue sauce and he brought back some type of spicy barbecue sauce. When I told him that the sauce was not correct, he went back and brought back another sauce that was also incorrect. Since I was already dissatisfied, I decided to count the wings that I received while waiting for my sauce. I ordered 12 wings and only received 11. I know that is not really a big deal but I was already pissed about my order. As a redeeming quality, I told the manager about my ordeal and he took 25% off of meal. I doubt that I will be back but they did try to make my experience better in the end.

FIrst off - this place doesn't permit firearms on its premises.... sooo guess I won't be surprised when this place gets robbed and no one can stand up to the man with a gun lol.. thats a big reason I am not a fan of this place..

Second off, the girl who sat us gave us this thesis of all the "specials" they had today and all the list of drinks so I assumed she was our waitress... and asked for a sweet tea to which she rudely replied "Uhm I am not your server" ... well okay then shoo off with your thesis long list of specials.. I can read...

Third, the waitress decided it was okay to bring my boyfriend his drinks and completely forget about my refill I needed, after he got 3 refills I had to finally attempt to go refill my own and thats when I guess she decided it was time to fill mine up.... seriously?!?!?

Third, the food tastes like the freezer... half the times that I have been to this location it feels like I nuked it myself in microwave... They CHARGE you for ranch/blue cheese.. REALLY?!?!? Is the economy THAT BAD??!

The worst part is they turn the TVs up so loud you can't hear yourself think, let alone the people you are trying to conversate with at the table.. and this was a Thursday mid-afternoon.. no games on so why was it up at "bleeding ears" level?

The other times I have been here the waitstaff are high school kids who could care less about serving food and more time texting/chatting with friends who came in and always brought the meal out with the appetizer.. what was the point of me ordering an appetizer then?!?!?

Not a fan of this chain....

We made a spontanious stop for dinner tonight.  The greeter wasn't very friendly and seemed very confused.  They seated us and gave us our menus.  We sat for awhile and notice that the servers that were walking by made a big effort to avoid eye contact.  My husband eventually went to the hostess and asked if we could get service.  She was rude but a server stepped up and said she would get things started and see what was going on.  Her name is Valerie and she is the only reason I am giving 2 stars.  BWW needs to hire more servers like her.  Turned out that we were seated at a table that wasn't assigned a server.
We got our food and it was really subpar.  The wings were okay but basically what we get from Pizza Hut but smaller.  The fries were so salty they were inedible and I thought the chips were gross and stale but my kids ate them.

I don't see us going back in the future.

What can I say its BWW.  We all showed up for dinner.  It was happy hour so I was able to get some cheap beer and the wings were like $.50 each or something so I got five blazin, and six medium.  Our food came out pretty quick and it was pretty good.  Service was great, just what you would expect.

Been coming here on and off since it opened and it's just been getting worse each time.  There isn't any competition for a wings place so maybe that's the culprit?

The wings are small, usually overcooked and I've had them mix up my orders (sauces).  Beer selection is decent but pricey even during HH.  The place itself is nice with plenty of seating and I haven't had any problems with service before.  So it's a place to go if you don't want to drive far (assuming it's close to you), just want a drink and mediocre (at best) wings.  It does have some outdoor seating which is nice during the days with nice weather.

Oh and there are lots of TV everywhere in case you care one way or another about that.

I did a review of BWW a while back for the one close to where I used to live in Texas and I believe I said I want to like this place but just can't seem to. Well I can say that I do like this place now, but only this location so far. Oh, and only if it's wings with the dry rub seasonings. I've come to the conclusion that I do not like ANY of the sauces they have. The salt & vinegar, chipotle something (can't remember the name right now), and desert heat are just awesome.

How can you go wrong with a family outing that has good wings (yes I've had better, but they're good), cold beer, Caps hockey on the TV, and decent service?

So I emailed BWW  from their website the same day i wrote this review and you know what they responded in return. Wait for it, wait for it. Yeah that's what I got, nothing. UFB, I can't believe I have to give them a star.

This place is so hit and miss, and I really want to like it better because my kids absolutely love it.

    Pros:
    - the beer - great selection
    - the atmosphere, lots of sports on TV, the kids love the trivia games as well, this is a really good low-stress place to take the kids because they stay busy, but it's a terrible place if you want to "talk" to your kids.
    - no smoking

    Cons:
    - wings are mediocre, Buffalo Wing Factory is much much better
    - service is hit and miss, staff is usually friendly but i've had times where we've waited seemingly forever and times where stuff comes out right away.  Most times there's at least one mistake.  On our last visit it took more than 20 minutes to get our food, the waiter didn't bring any ranch or blue cheese, and we had to constantly track him down for drink refills,  And the buffalito taco dinner was missing chips and salsa (and there was a chicken bone in one of the tacos).

We'll keep coming here because it's quick and relatively cheap, but i would actually get excited about it if they did something to improve the quality of the food.

Good wings decent prices. If they filled the tall beers to the top rather than leaving the last two inches empty I'd order them again.

Great wings, but best of all is the sauces. I like to go for boneless thursdays, where the boneless wings are cheaper (I forget how much though). There are lots of TVs to watch sports or play the addictive quiz game.

We generally do carry-out from this location, and the food is always ready in 15 minutes or less.

Great beer selection and more wing flavors than Baskin & Robin has ice cream. Ok maybe not but it's still a great spot to have wings and watch a game or UFC fight.

I've only ever had takeout from this place because it's way too busy, pretty packed for dinner most nights.

They do a great job with their takeout food, it's packaged very well and still tastes good. Their desserts are pretty grainy tasting and definite chain-restaurant. The wings are very tasty though!

It's spacious, it's clean, and we had good service. Loved the habanero mango sauce on the boneless wings. Our side salads had wilted lettuce, but it's a wing joint, not a Sweet Tomatoes! Also, I am a chips and salsa FREAK. I know it's probably not the best place to go for chips and salsa, but when I see that one the menu, I am forced to get it! The salsa was so yummy and the chips were bought from Target probably - LOL. But that's okay. It served my craving!
Will go to again for sure, but sticking with wings!

I'm pretty strict when it comes to spending my $ on entertainment.  I want to see that you want it and you deserve it.  So read on and see if your hard earned money deserves to go here...

ATMOSPHERE:  Awesome, I love it !!  TVs, people, very social setting, everything is just fun and exciting.  Good for lunch and hanging out.  Nice for watching games too!  Not better than Hooters tho.

FOOD: The hot sauce here are actually H O T and that is a good thing.  There are alot of sauces to pick from and becareful when ordering "Mild" cause they once brought out "Wild" when I said "Mild" and it was HOTT.  I normally eat in the middle of the spectrum but I had special guests that I didn't want to sweat in front of that night hahaha.

SERVICE:  Ok here is where they can work on it a bit.  The girl we had was... well... not very bright.  She was slow, flirty with her fellow guy co-workers, and didn't pay attention very well to our drink orders. You can tell all the servers here are new to the food industry.

Terrible food, incorrect orders, awful service.

That sums up my most recent experience here.  A bunch of my guy friends have something that we call Man Meal every month where we eat stuff only men would want to eat.  Anyway, we decided to come here and venture away from buffets.

7:30 PM on a Thursday night, restaurant wasn't even half full to give you an idea of what the place was like.

Our waiter sucked, plain and simple, and he had no excuse because it wasn't crowded..  He was never around to give us any refills for beer or sodas.  It took about a half hour for our food to come out, and he messed up one of our friends orders.  He had to wait 15 minutes for it to be remade and they didn't even offer to take his meal off of the bill.  My meal came out at room temperature, honest to God.  It was as if they made my chicken about two hours before my order, and then just tossed it in sauce and brought it to my table.

The wings that came out were half the size of normal size chicken wing, almost comical in size.  It is very obvious that they are trying to cut costs.  The manager was no where in sight until we left.

I used to love BWW in college, now it has changed and become more expensive for what I would call barely mediocre food.

    Avoid.

Baaaad.  I've been to BWW several times in places like Jackson, MS and Galesburg, IL, and those locations didn't disappoint.  After my not-so-great experience at Glory Days in Gainesville, and the bad experience at BWW there, I've decided to completely bypass Gainesville when searching for dinner options after a day of winery hopping.  Our waitress was a "look at me" dimwit who paid more attention to her fellow co-workers (mostly guys...) than the patrons.  BWW does offer a variety of sauces to go with the mild wings.  She had no idea what we were talking about.   We had to basically whistle to get her attention just to order a bunch of freaking beers.  And that smell---something was dead under the patio.  It was a revolting stench (I suspect a deer or some other mammal--maybe even a human being, the smell was so bad).  No one from the restaurant cared enough to track it down.  My friend smoked a cigar to attempt to mask the smell.  Should I dock a restaurant just because something died under the patio?  Seeing how the management cared less when we brought it up to them, yes.  They didn't even make an effort to find the source of it.
And regarding Buzztime, my favorite electronic trivia--they had it.  But all TVs were switched to poker.  None of them had the trivia game playing.   I like BWW as a whole but this location stinks.  Pun intended.

Just to clarify for the lesser intelligent people whom have chosen to contact me about not leaving a tip to the waiter at BWW.
A little bit about me, I am the person who tips my hair cutter a 10 on a 15 cut at the hair cuttery, I am the person that likes to slip the person who changes my tires a few bucks. I always leave at least 20% for even average service. When I go to a restaurant I believe the waiter is now working for me, because in a sense they truly are since they only get paid about $2 an hour from the business. So for the patron the waiter is their link to the kitchen and the management. When something isn't right it is up to them to figure out what to do about it. Do they do nothing or try to do what they can to fix the situation. If they choose to do nothing then they haven't done their job.

For a buffalo wing joint pretty close to my house.. im happy with it.

I took advice from the fellow reviews saying don't order anything besides the wings..

I looked around.. the salads looked ehh.. and burgers looked mediocre. My girfriend and I split 25 wings for $16.99. and she got a drink.. i got water. total was about $19.. then i added a tip.

The flavors we got were: mango habernero, spicy bbq, asian zing, carribean jerk.

Mango habenero was rated 'spicier' on their menu then spicy bbq.. but my gf and I both felt that spicy bbq was spicer than mango habenero. the asian sing was good. carribean was okay. My favorite was the mango, then spicy bbq, then asian, then carribean.

The wings did seem a bit over-cooked. We went there at 11:30am on a Saturday morning. Maybe the wings were leftovers from last night? I'm not sure. I'd go back.

I visited BWW for the first time last night.  It was Thursday and was Boneless Wing Night.  You could get boneless wings for 60 cents a piece, but had to get five per sauce.  I chose to get the medium and the Honey BBQ.  I liked the medium ones quite a bit.  The honey bbq was disappointing as it had that mesquite smokey taste that I don't really like in BBQ sauce.  I also got an order of their "chips."  I wouldn't call them chips more like thick potatoes.  They were good....

My husband ordered sliders and my son had some tenders off the kids menu.  It was overall good.  Very sports bar atmosphere.  It was a little on the noisy side, and the restaurant was maybe only 30% full.  It was very kid friendly.  The food was okay.  I would probably go back again...

I have tried to come here before in the evening and was shocked about how poorly this new restaurant was ran. The staff was untrained and unorganized. No host was available, the servers had not idea if there were any open tables, employees were hanging out everywhere and standing in front of the store smoking and the place was packed with under aged drinkers! It was a disaster.

But I was interested in trying the wings that everybody was raving about, so I came back during lunch on a weekday. This time, there was a very friendly host smiling and greeting us. We sat in the cocktail area and the server arrived quickly. He was friendly and not afraid to talk and show some personality in his service.

Their draft beer selection is really nice. There are 20+ beers to choose from. We ordered 18 wings and the Potato Wedges for lunch. The food arrived quickly, although I am not convinced the wings were cooked to order.
The sauces tasted good, but the wings themselves are the smallest wings I have ever seen. Easily half the size of what one would consider a large wing. The Potato Wedges had the same problem. They were very small and so was the portion size, and I ordered the basket not the regular. Maybe enough as a side item, not a whole appetizer.

The ambiance is perfect for the hard core sports fan, with lots of large flat screen TVs. Family friendly it isn't, as it gets really loud and since there are too many tables it gets a pain to navigate when the place fills up.
For an establishment that serves large quantities of beer and spicy food to lots of people, the bathrooms are also extremely undersized. There was a wait during my lunch visit!

I believe there are better sports bars around with better wings, and if the night scene does not improve don't expect them to be around for long.

While visiting my brother in Manassas, this is the only bar I would go to. First off the wings are the best, I am a huge wing fan. We watched the UFC fight which is a great place to watch because there are 20 tv's you can watch it on.
My brother told me the place just opened. The manager came through asking how our food was and if there is anything she can get us. I thought that was nice.
What I didn't like was the fact that at 12am there was kids still in the restaurant. BWW is not a place to bring your kids to watch a UFC fight and watch you drink beer.
I just found out BWW is going to put a franchise near my area so now I can enjoy my favorite wings in Orange County, CA

I have to agree with David G. and HEE J.  I was SO excited about BWW opening up here.  Well we went Saturday nite.  The place was not crowded at all and we did not experience the service or appetizer problem.  Although, S.O. did have to wait 15 minutes for his beer to come from the bar.

I was disappointed that this location wasn't as nice as the others I've been too.  Plus they don't have the cool triva game machines at the booths.  The comment about the staff hanging out where they sell the sauce is true.  It does hamper getting in and out of the front door, let alone go powder one's nose.

I started w/ 12 wings, hot.  S.O. started out with Crispy Southwest Dippers - they looked terrible.  He said they were not good at all and wouldn't order them again.  Think he was expecting something of a southwest egg roll.  It's more like a fried ravoli with very little filling.

I loved my wings.  Crispy, zesty, tasty, albeit a little on the small size.

Thought I might have a burger for my entree and asked the waitress about them.  She steered me away from the burgers and said that they only cook them one way - well done.  Ok, hint taken.  Ordered Popcorn Shrimp and Fish.  S.O. had Jerk wings.  He liked his wings pretty well.  Mine was just ok - not as good as Gordon's Fish Stix, and will just stick with wings the next time.

I had such high hopes for this location.  Having been to several other Buffalo Wild Wings locations in VA and NC I've become a fan and was very excited to see one opening just down the road from my home.

So far, I have given them four chances and each time the level of service and quality of food has left a lot to be desired.

Our worst experience so far was when I went with a group of seven.  To start things off, the waitress had clearly not been trained on the art of beverage service and how to use one of those complex beverage trays since she brought each and every drink out one at a time.  This went on throughout the entire night each time we ordered another round and even when we ordered a round of shots.

Next comes the food, and one would think that it would have been the order of appetizers I put in before we ordered our meals.  But no, not here...  Our waitress brings out our food and when I ask her were the appetizer is she explains to me "That's not the way it works here, we put the orders in and bring it out when it is ready" I thought about informing her that I've been to at least 5 other B-Dubs locations and they way it works there is your appetizer comes out before your meals unless you request otherwise, but decided to just cancel my appetizer order.  Half of the order that was brought out was screwed up and had to be sent back.  Later when she finally brought us our check she informed me that she went ahead and took the appetizer off our bill.  Umm, no $hit...

As for the food in general here - I've yet to get a single item that was not served any hotter than lukewarm.  Looking around at the other tables and the amount of orders that are screwed up and sent back, I would not at all be surprised if those cold wings you were served were returns to the kitchen.  And the basket of Buffalo Chips with Cheese should be avoided at all cost, unless you like hot melted cheese to be cold and dried all over your soggy chips by the time it gets to your table.

With regards to the service, only once out of the four times has the service not absolutely sucked.  Regardless how busy the place is, the wait staff seem to hang out in the area where they sell the sauces causing a bottleneck for those that are trying to enter/exit the place.  Also, for the most part once your food comes out - you are on your own.  So you may want to consider bringing a signaling device of sorts in case you need a refill, napkins, utensils or anything else that you typically don't have to worry about when going to a restaurant.

I'll visit them again and hope turnover and attrition takes its toll on the staff and line managers since I know what this franchise is capable of when in the hands of competent people.  But I'm close to writing them off completely and going just a little further down the road to Glory Days.

I've eaten at other B-Dubs before which have been good but my first experience at this location wasn't that hot. Granted, I got carry-out but it was mushy and dry. Lots of staff seemed to be standing around not doing anything despite it being really busy. For the same price, Chili's is a much better option.

Also, SEVERE lack of parking on Fridays and Saturdays after 5 p.m.

I stopped in here to get a take-out order of wings while I waited on a pizza take out from Margherita.

I'm not one for sports bars but the inside looked nice and would definitely be a good place to go for any big games.  It was a late afternoon and they were packed.  I went to the take out counter and put in a order for 12 honey bbq wings.  The girl told me 10 minutes so I went back to Margherita and waited on the pizza order.  When it came out I went back to BWW to pick up the wings.

When I got home the wings were already stone cold...  Not a great first impression, especially considering they were more expensive than the wings offered at just about every other place in the area without any real noticable increase in quality or flavor.

We have a coupon for a free order of 6 wings so I'll give them another shot.

So we've been to this BWW three times, all three times in the evening after 9pm, and two out of the three times we've ordered food. I really want to like the place, being a wing connoisseur and all, but pretty much the only thing good here is the wings and the beer. If that's what you want, then it's OK, otherwise, it sucks.

Sucks you say? Well, the two items I've ordered are definitely sub par by any chain restaurant standards. The hamburger was burned, like not a char burger, but a beef biscuit with black bacon. Gross! The chicken salad was served to me on a plastic disposable plate and plastic utensils to eat it with!! I mean, I get it, it's a hang out for all the collage guys to drink beer, but beyond that, it's nothing to write home about.

The wait staff has a long way to go too, I understand when they're busy service might be slow, but when they're half empty, service is still pathetic. Every visit I've had to ask for napkins and utensils after receiving my order, and refills on drinks are hit or miss. Again, the place just reminds me of a frat hangout...

Loud? Umm, think of a collage basket ball gymnasium. It's pretty hard to carry on a conversation with all the noise.

I wish I could say my disdain was because I'm some old grumpy man, but I'm actually not far from being one of those collage guys. Maybe I'm just missing something obvious, but I'll be getting my wings and beer, along with better service, at Glory Days.

I think this was my first visit ever to a BWW! Had a late lunch here on a lazy Sunday afternoon!

I can't recall ever seeing so many flat panel HD screens for a place of this size! They were everywhere! Along with more screens for trivia, poker, and golf games, plus six external projectors - projecting onto wall screens.

I took a seat in the bar area. My server - Joey - came right over and took my order for a beverage - a Bass Ale. Then I ordered the crispy fried garlic mushrooms and 3 separate flavored batches of wings (extra crispy) - 6 each:  Parmesan Garlic, Caribbean Jerk, and Hot, plus a side of the garlic fries with cheese. And a glass of water.

The shrooms came out first - with a side of a spicy dipping sauce that reminded me of a Cajun remoulade. They were fried perfectly - nice, hot, and crispy on the outside - moist on the inside. The dipping sauce was frickin' awesome!

Then the wings and fries came out - they come with a side of celery sticks - and I chose Blue Cheese as my dipping sauce.

All of the wings were meaty and tasty. I liked the Parmesan Garlic and Caribbean Jerk the best - both were loaded with flavor - I was wishing I had gotten sides of both of the respective flavors to dip them in and get even more of that yumminess!

My server checked on me several times - attentive without being over-attentive. The place is a little on the loud side - but I probably would not have noticed nearly as much if I had been there with someone else.

I will definitely return here again!

I called in an order for take-out, which was ready promptly as I arrived (15 minutes later) despite their being packed wall to wall with men (and yes, at 4p on a Thursday night they were packed with men). I ordered 6 Wild sauced wings and an order of fries.

The wings were good-- not spicy while being ingested but my lips are definitely tingling now. They had given me one wing and 5 drum sticks (which was a little unfortunate as I like wings better). Their Wild sauce is better than most places "Extra Hot" style. The fries were cold though, but still tasted good with blue cheese dipping sauce.

I'd let this place settle down for a week or two before going in to be seated, or a low-rating review will probably come out of it, ESPECIALLY because parking is VERY scarce around the building right now. BWW is one of the better chain wing joints, IMO. The only reason it gets a 4 is because the fries were cold.

The restaurant itself has very high ceiling and an overall lively, sporty atmosphere-- looked and sounded like fun in there!!
