I went here for the first time a couple of weeks or so ago with my boyfriend. He's been several times and wanted to play trivia with me. We had a FANTASTIC server, the food was pretty good, and the trivia was a good time. I came in second place!! Granted, my boyfriend was the only other player... ._.
Anyway! I did not enjoy the seating, which is completely without padding. Come on, people, cushions. And the wings are not the best in town but they are really good. I got the black and bleu burger with fries (dusted with salt & vinegar seasoning) the first time, and my boyfriend got the wild wings. I enjoyed my burger but didn't much care for the flavor dusted on the fries. They were otherwise good, though. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. I tasted my boyfriend's wings, but I didn't like the sauce. Definitely not the best in town... check my other reviews to find out where those are!
But I filled out a survey on the receipt and expressed how impressed we were with the service and what an enjoyable meal we had. The manager emailed me, thanked me for the review, and gave me a coupon code for 12 free wings... for a positive review!! That's never happened to me before. Very pleased! So I'll be using that soon. But the receipt also had a $5 off coupon for the next visit, which we used about a week later. That time I got the jerk chicken flavor and a spicy garlic. Both were pretty good. The former was pretty darn hot but had a nice sweetness as well. The latter was sort of tangy... kind of odd, but tasty once you got used to it. Just not a typical sort of flavor.
When I go back for the 12 free wings, I'll try two other flavors. Oh, and the wings are big and meaty; not skinny and pathetic like some places serve. And we got this chocolate cake dessert the first time as well. Very good. Big enough for two! I wanted to try their black cherry mimosa but they had no fresh mint. :( Maybe next time.
I grew up in Ohio and have been going to at BW3 since "weck"was still a menu item and wings were only 10 cents on Tuesdays. This place does justice to the feel of the earlier incarnations of 'B Dubs' back home - neon, music, good beer deals, and excellent sports coverage - but they definitely fall short on wait times for food. Always good and always hot, but you can time these guys with a calendar. All of that being said, still one of my favorite lunch places in Winston.
Review Source:The first thing I have to ask is, why do places like this that have high industrial ceilings and great air conditioning for when they are FULL not turn the a/c down when the place is almost empty. We froze! No matter where we moved there was always a cold draft  blowing on us. Not a pleasant way to have a meal and it certainly hurried us out the door.
Now, about the food. The name of the place says WINGS! For God's sake, learn to cook wings! The skins were so slimy and underdone I gagged on every bite I tried to take. I tried to pull the slimy under-cooked skin off so I could enjoy the chicken but the under-cooked fat was all I could taste. You might go here for a beer when there is a game on TV and the house is packed, otherwise, there are other places to get better wings.
Food wasn't that great not enough sauce on the wings  it was Thursday so boneless wings was $.60 the crowd was decent. Had to wait on my bartender when I went to the bar she was reading a paper. She didn't have all drink ingredients. A lot of tv's here. We had one waiter who was cool then was switched to another. She wasn't very good her voice was very annoying. Not a very good experience I probably won't come back. I really could have just went to hooters . Very disappointed.
Review Source:Went to Buffalo Wild Wings on a Tuesday night last week with a pretty big group. Â It was fairly busy which surprised me. Â We were sat at an awkward triangular high top by the bar.
The beer specials were lousy. Â $2.95 for a pint of a crappy domestic. Â Nothing "special" about that.
The food took FOR-EV-ER to get out. Â Now I mentioned that it was fairly busy but not busy enough to cause this long of a wait. Â It was boneless Tuesday and most of the folks in our group got boneless which I realize can back up the fryer but not this much.
My boneless wings were barely sauced and were really overdone with a super crunchy exterior and a tough chewy interior. Â Very blah.
I got some of the buffalo chips with cheese with the cajun seasoning on the side. Â They were certainly adequate but nothing super awesome. Â When the cajun season only covers the top 3 chips, I don't think it's really worth it.
Our server, at times, was overwhelmed. Â There were a lot of us crammed at a little table with people arriving a different times. Â So I'll give her lots of credit for doing as well as she did.
Overall, the experience just wasn't okay. Â East Coast Wings has always been my "go to" and will remain my "go to."
Okie dokie...my fiance and I go here every time he gets his hair cut next door. Â
Here's the deal, the food isn't spectacular, but it's adequate...the service is eh to good?
I'm not super impressed with this Buffalo Wild Wings but it's food that's close.
I don't know if I've ever had a more vague review but it's really that eh?!
BW3 is a pretty good spot for a quick lunch. Â They offer a good amount of choices, and one can eat on the lighter side without much trouble at all! Â
I have not had trouble with service, as it is prompt and friendly. Â Food is pretty standard wing joint fare, and selection of sauces is plentiful, and fun to try. Â They will bring out a sampler of sauce for you if you ask! Â
Beer selection is good.
I would go for casual family dinner, but avoid nights of big sports action, as crowd can get a little rowdy.
Visiting the in-laws in what some call "God's Country", we decided to catch the Thursday night football game over wings. I had the sampler, cause I didn't know what was good! The boneless wings proved tasty. I kept it simple, with mild buffalo sauce, even though I requested spicy garlic. The crowd was a roar, with a line out the door in 30 degree weather, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers smash the Carolina Panthers. As a result, the service was slow - from the delivery of our food to the attentiveness of our wait staff. I'd come back. It was exciting enough to watch the game amongst an all around mixed crowd with television screens to please all fans.
