We had a catered in house event at this CJ Muggs location. Upon arrival and during the event the prices WERE NOT what we were quoted. We had the same issue a few years ago when we had an catered event there. Then the staff claimed they had "NO IDEA" about any quoted prices from the owner. We thought as a returning customer we would be cut a decent deal. We actually paid MORE then we would of had we walked in off the street that day with our group. Â Then upon leaving the manager over the "servers" had the nerve to chase us down down the street and demand we leave a bigger tip. (JERRY). This guy (JERRY) had NOTHING to do with our party and this might of been the RUDEST experience a restaurant employee has ever done to someone. He literally came up to my trunk as I was loading my children into the car and DEMANDED that we tip more. (His comments "We ask for at least a 25 % tip with a group of 15 or more"). Mind you we left a tip, and the last time I checked any amount of a tip is optional. (NO we did SKIMP on the tip)
DON'T GO HERE, dont help out the owner SAM who stays out of anything either make ANY MORE MONEY!
I cannot believe this person came out AFTER we had paid and left a tip and demanded MORE! Get a life JERRY!

Free food happy hours are the only reason I go to either Clayton or Webster Groves.
Service is usually friendly, but expect to wait to order drinks. Â
Food is nothing more than greasy bar food, despite claims it is any fancier than bar food. Â
If you want to have cheap happy hour with a couple old friends, this is the place. Â For dates or nice nights out, go elsewhere.
