Foley's

I thought I knew about every bar in St. Louis, but I'd never even heard of Foley's until a friend suggested it to me yesterday.

This is my kind of place. Unpretentious. Cheap drinks. Friendly bartenders. Hidden deep in Maplewood next to some railroad tracks. This is an Angela kinda place.

Foley's is a good place to:
- Play some free shuffleboard
- Play some $1 pool
- Play Big Buck Hunter!!!!
- DAY DRINK
- Bring your uncle or dad

Foley's is not a good place to:
-Wear nice clothes. They somehow still allow smoking here.
-Be a beer snob. I had a Goose Island, but that's just 'cause I didn't realize there were cans of Busch.
-Bring a lady. Unless it's this lady.

a smoking bar still? so gross. I mean come on. Who does that anymore?

Good cheap food, lunch specials, $1.50 bud/miller 4-6 weekdays. Fun bar to hang out at nights. Games in the backside, even shuffleboard. Pretty simple and laid back.
