Cafe Marlene

Lovely place to spend an afternoon working. Great coffee, fast wifi, and the music at a perfect level. Perfect for what I needed, and the staff were friendly. Neighborhood gem.

Quaint and lovely. The staff is friendly and inviting the creeps are tasty.

Tiny, cozy cafe with a subtle Euro-vibe for a cup of coffee, a crepe, and some conversation.  I wouldn't say the food or coffee here are out of this world (nor super cheap), but it's definitely a nice place for an intimate chat.  I'd rather pay a little more for that than pay less to be in a loud, obnoxious place.  The tables really are tiny but the decor is good and they've always been welcoming when I've visited.  I'd probably add a screen or divider next to the bathroom as it opens up right to a table in the main area.  They have a music room downstairs but I haven't been yet.
