Cemento's seemed old-school to me. Â There are no frills added to presentation to make you believe in getting more than what's being billed. Â And what's being billed is moderately priced drinks and beers, above average pizza and a dark pub or bar. Â That's Cemento's for me. Â Now, I was there on a Friday night with a "LIVE" band playing and the place was packed cheek-to-cheek (below the waist). Â I hadn't been in a setting as chaotic and difficult to get a cocktail in a while. Â Because it was crowded the air inside was stifling. Â Go outside to the "smoker's area" and it was cool but cloudy, if you catch my drift. Â Pizza - it was pepperoni and cheese and it was gooey good. Â The crown on the rocks was a good pour. Â I'd like to try the place again without the crowd just to see if Cemento's is what I think it is. Â And that is a place for locals to get their schwerve on drinking booze and sitting around listening to a jukebox. Â Local hang-out with adequate food - not much in the form of ambiance.
