Thurber's Bar and Grill

This is a classy upscale bar in the Westin Hotel.  Went there with my friend Franca and had a couple cocktails and some of their wonderful crab cakes.  Great, attentive service by the lady at the bar.  

The cocktails were made perfectly and the crab cakes were really good.  Great flavor and cooked to a golden brown.  The sauce was a perfect compliment with just a little bit of heat but not too much.

Clientel was all very high end befitting one of Columbus's nicer hotels.  There only problem we had was that the chairs around the bar were a little uncomfortable....you can't really get settled by in them so you will feel like you are perched on the edge.  They just aren't deep enough to be able to settle back into them.

If it weren't for that, I'd give Thurber's Bar a 5 but as is, still a solid 4 star.  A great place to take someone if you want to impress them without breaking the bank.

My experience at The Westin Columbus was wonderful!  A group of colleagues and I went to Thurbur's Bar and Grill (inside the Hotel) for lunch.  The staff was courteous and the atmosphere was inviting.  The food was outstanding and management made it a point to come introduce themselves to everyone at the table.  The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the history of the hotel is fascinating.  We will definitely be returning very soon!
