I am visiting for the third time, I travel to Columbus for business several times a year. Â This place is spot on.
I have had the fish and chips and the Shepard's Pie. Â Both are very good. Â And the beer selection is great!
If you like a good Irish Pub check this place out. Â If you are looking for something more refined go someplace else.
There were at most 7 people in the room with the band, which consisted of 3 tables (sometimes 2) of people. Â I was alone at a table near the front. Â I had to go to the bar to get drinks because no one ever offered to serve me. Â After an hour I mentioned it to the bartender, who seemed surprised. Â I went back to my table, drank my beer, and after another 30 minutes I left. Â Still no server. Â
The bartender seemed friendly and attentive enough, but I cannot give more than 1 star to a place with such horrible service at tables. Â And they were not busy. Â Even if they had been busy, that is ridiculous. Â
Aside from that, there was a decent selection of draft beers. Â I didn't try the food, because I wasn't served.
Great pregame location in the Arena District. Â Tried it out before the Blue Jackets game. Â The staff was a little surly (probably because the crowd was all BLACKHAWKS fans), but the food was delicious. Â We tried he reuben balls, which I had never seen anywhere before and were really good. Â I had a philly steak which was delicious.
