Charlie's Hamburgers

Great burgers and awesome shakes
Reason for 3 stars price your paying $3 a burger for a burger that's smaller than a mickey D's or burger king dollar burger and no fryers in the place could use some frys or O rings to go wit my burger
But great place a Delco land mark, and great burgers only drawback is you gotta order 3 or 4 of them

Bad form guys !  

Had a little trouble finding the place tonight because it's been a while, resulting in some u-eys, back roads, and a lot of self determination to figure out where I was - and to get here before closing. Haven't had a charlie burger and shake in 5+ years, but after dropping my wife off at the airport and a visit to Total Wine, it seemed like the perfect thing to do.

And at 10 of 9, I arrive in the parking lot... and you had the closed sign in the window. That's 10 minutes before closing. VERY bad form, guys !

Don't share the shake...get your own. My wife and I decided to stop by Charlie's after hearing about this institution from many, many people. This area must be burger central because it seemed like you can find a burger place on every block. Ignore the rest and pull into Charlie's. Simple yet yummy burgers are offered up single or double, the burgers are kind of small so order a couple. I believe I perfected the topping choices by not having any... the plain double cheeseburger is simple perfection.

We shared a black and white shake...as soon as the shake touched my lips I realized I made a horrible mistake....I should have got my own. Burgers, shakes, no fries, and cash only, Charlie's has got simplicity down to a science.
