chiefs. Chiefs. CHIEFS!!!
I wish I could calculate how much of my live I've spent at this pub. Er, wait... no I don't. But suffice it to say as a Factory stalwart I spend a LOT of time at this bar while we're in production and I've come to feel as comfortable and welcome here as I ever did at my first favorite bar, The Bel Air Lounge (RIP). The prices can be a little daunting for the artsy-set but the owners will almost always figure out a drink special or two, and the regular nightly drink specials are good deals, too.
The brunch is KILLER. Hands down. The beer garden is MASSIVE. And there's nowhere I'd rather go after a show or a strike to enjoy a glass of wine, or Guinness, or Stella or scotch.
The owners (the lovely Siohban and gregarious Brendan) are staunch supporters not just of the Factory, but of all arts on the Northwest side. I am extremely proud to partner with them on both our fundraisers and my liver's slow demise.
I live close to Chief O'Neill's (I remember when it was Oinkers!) and it is a beautiful, classy restaurant and pub. Â I co-hosted a Sunday brunch there yesterday and all 40 plus folks were thrilled with the great food and dessert selection, the fabulous Bloody Mary's and the Attic room and the service. Â Thanks so much for everything, Siobhan! Â We will be back, we cannot wait! Â My favorites included having calamari and delicious fish and chips for breakfast!
