I love karaoke. It allows me to rock out with my cock out.

China Bar has a street level floor and also basement level. The street level floor is where the karaoke is done, whereas the lower level is more for lounging. If you have yellow fever, this bar is it.

Once my crew and I walked in, we were immediately ushered downstairs by the hostess, even though upstairs wasn't by any means packed. To this day we weren't given an answer as to why that was.

The lower level is nice, and the bar extends the length of the space. on the bar counter there were a series of cups dispered with about 5 to 6 die in each. I asked the bartender what they were for, but she couldn't explain it in english. The owner overheard our questions while behind the bar a few seats away and walked over to attempt to explain. After about 10 minutes, I was still completely clueless. The entertainment value from that time however was priceless. Heh.

As we were getting ready to leave, the owner said that we could hang out upstairs and sing karaoke. I'm sure he didn't want his profits to walk out to one of his competitors. He even bought each of us a brew on the house. Nice touch.

I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but if I'm ever in Flushing I'd definitely swing through, at the very least to pre-game.

    Go Red Sox.

This bar was below average, the drinks are overpriced and the bartenders add drinks that were never ordered on your tab and fight you about it later when you are trying to leave.

The music was extremely loud and was karaoke. It takes forever order a beer despite the low amount of patrons in the bar. After you order the beer expect to wait even longer because the bartenders don't actually serve from the bar.

They get their beer from downstairs and run it up to you. Also they run out of beer on draft and serve you the scum from the bottom of the keg and still charge you full price for a 2/3 glass of beer.

Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. The bar does however serve free peanuts and the bartenders are pretty good looking, but they don't speak English that well.

It's an okay bar. If you go here, make sure you have a good amount of cash. It's a cash only bar even though they have the stickers for accepting Discover, MasterCard, Visa and the credit card printer. When I asked about why they don't accept credit cards, I was told the owner hasn't set it up yet although the place has been open since Sept. 2011. The staff was friendly and nice, place was clean. Happy hour applies to beer only. Hard liquor for well/house brand a bit on pricey side compared to other bars in Queens.
