China Town Restaurant

Im usually more of a thai-food fan for take out than a chinese food fan, so when a friend suggested we order from here, I figured id take the easy way out and just stick with potstickers.

Well, i was definitely wrong. we ended up ordering a few vegetarian dishes to share (egg rolls, potstickers, bean curd and vegs, fried rice and mu shu) - everythign was OUTSTANDING. Now we order from here all the time!

The portions are HUGE and the price is so affordable. We eat leftovers two or three times after we order from here. The food is so fast, and they make it so fast.

I have only gotten take out; ive never dined inside though.

I am a Morton Grove resident and began patronizing the China Town Restaurant about two years ago for take-out. I agree with the others that the restaurant's interior is old, outdated and in need of remodeling. However, the food is consistently excellent, large portions at reasonable prices. Tonight I ordered the beef with tomato and green peppers - it was outstanding. I highly recommend China Town.

We've been in here a few times over the years.  It's an ok place for a nothing-fancy,  old-school, economic Cantonese menu when in the area.  That style serving is what we come here for, but they have other preparations also (e.g., Northern Chinese, Filipino).
