CityGate Grille

We went there to have dinner and enjoy jazz afterwards.  All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and did not rush us as we wanted a leisurely dinner.  It was upscale Chicago quality staff and food.  Really good steak and risotto.  My husband also loved that they served beer in the correct beer glass.  Great atmosphere, romantic and relaxing.  Good for 30 and over crowd.

Just don't understand why this place had so many open tables on a holiday Saturday night. I guess location is everything. Really too bad. This is a terrific restaurant and one we will definitely return to.  The food was terrific as was the atmosphere. A beautiful room with a nice vibe. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The City Gate is a great place with good food and drinks.  It's more up scale and have live music and dancing.  It's a fun place that we love to go to for drinks and dancing.
