Seemed from my visit yesterday that if weren't a regular, you didn't matter.
My mother in law & myself wandered in for lunch right around noon. We were seated right away & before we could get my son in his high chair were asked for our drink order. We both ordered iced tea that we ended up sending back add it was awful. Looked like dirty cloudy dishwater with zero taste.
We ordered when the waitress finally came back after far too long. Soup came with our sandwiches so we asked what kinds they had. They had one so we took it since we were paying for it. Our bowl of water, I mean soup, was hot. That's the best I could say. Chicken tortilla soup, with no chicken in watered down broth with vegetables.
Our sandwiches were good. As we ate them the regulars at the next table were being chatted up & were offered rolls with butter for their soup. We didn't get offered that. Our server barely spoke to us & wasn't friendly at all.
The manager was all over talking to people & being friendly. Seating, answering the phone. If he wasn't on the phone when we left, I was going to complain right then.
How do you expect to get repeat customers with horrible service? I can't believe anyone would come back. The server was lucky I wasn't the person paying for lunch our I wouldn't have left a tip.
I always tip well since my baby is learning to eat with his fingers. If there is a mess left, I always leave more than 20%. Had we received the same service as the regulars around us, I would've left tip in addition to what my mother in law left.
We won't be returning & will be sure to tell friends to go elsewhere.
