Really mediocre. There is absolutely no management and everything blows from the service, to the food, to the partially stocked bar. Bartenders are always on their phones, until their friends come by and get full attention. I don't understand because the less I drink, the less I spend, the less I tip. The bar was missing key spirits, which is more than disappointing. The food is alright for pub grub. It could level up to good/very good if they put in effort. I got nachos with unmelted cheese, plating that looked like it was done by a child, in general- a lot of slacking in the kitchen (which ONLY had our order to do as the place was empty on Saturday night at 7). There needs to be a manager on duty, plain and simple. There's potential in this menu and the decor.
Review Source:We went there on a Sunday about 5 - inside the entrance way was covered with garbage that included lots of gum - elevator smelled funny - once inside there was a smell of cleaning fluid over vomit - bathroom equally bad. Â We decided to stay as we had a gift certificate. Â The place had three guys at the bar and two other tables. Â The waitress/bartender was very nice and helpful - unfortunately the food was sub-par and very slow - hate to see it on a busy day/night. Â Given the location and prices one would expect a clean place. Â I wouldn't return, even for a free meal.
Review Source:Very good food, decent but slow service. Never been there when it was packed. The food is inexpensive and good. I have had the bar pie, wings, and love their cajun fries.
You can stock up on restaurant dot com gift certificates for this place and enjoy a very reasonably priced dinner/lunch.
I'll start with the fact that it's a very small bar, and a second floor bar. It's a place you might go to grab one or two beers on your way home from work, but definitely not a place to go "out on the town" and there are better places to catch a game.
The food is sub-par at best. One of the male bartenders was an absolute jerk. There were maybe 3 groups of patrons each on a different side of the bar and a friend and I were watching a sporting event that was in triple overtime and he came and changed the channel to a sports talk show that you couldn't even hear because of the music that was playing. After asking him to change it back, he did it...but wasn't happy about being inconvenienced. Then even though one team obviously couldn't come back and win with about a minute left in 3OT, he came back and changed the channel back to the talk show and said "the game's obviously over."
It does look more upscale on the inside, and the female bartenders were all sweethearts, but this guy (forgot his name) really pissed us off.
If you want one or two beers, it's not a bad place...anything more, then find another place to give your money to.
My staple Weds lunch.... Â Where else can we grab a Burger, Wrap, awesome Salad's, Pizza, open face sangich option and a beer on tap for like $8.95. Â Lori is the bartender on Weds and always take care of us! Â Great food. Â Great service. Â
Been renovated lately. Â Nice granite counters now. Â No more pool table... Â tons of TVs.
Had my daughter w/ me one day for lunch because of Sandy, and they even gave her the remote for one of the TV's for her to control. Â How cool is that????
Tough to consider JJ's or Cloverleaf when you have Clevands for lunch options... Â Food just as good and $$ less.
I had a tricky time finding this place even though I had nav. I figured it was a standalone bar. Never thought it would be a part of a complex and on a second floor. Anyway, be on the lookout as it can be tricky.
The bar itself is rather large. There are plenty of chairs and room. On the outskirts there is a few stand alone high tables as well. Several TV's to watch the locals and a pool table to challenge a local to a friendly match. Music is run by bartenders iPod and always a good selection. Their Guinness was good but not the best. They do have a decent selection of beers on draft. Their menu is typical pub food. Burgers, wraps and a steak thrown in. I had their Jersey Burger. It didn't taste much of anything. I wasn't too thrilled by it. Their fries are crinkle cut and mediocre. The service is very good and the bartender is very friendly & attentive. Their prices are average (Guinness is $5). It is a cool place to chill for a couple of drinks and maybe apps (which I did not try).
Service was great as bartender very attentive but that's where it stops. Tile floor smells like dirty mop water. Food was served promptly but less than mediocre. Even burgers had no flavor - not sure how you can do that to a burger but it was done here. One of us ordered deli sandwich off the menu (maybe 0 choices total) and it was sparsely put together and he also commented on flavorlessness of turkey??? Â I'll pass on this one.
Review Source:I was introduced to this place by my employer (hosting Thirsty Third Thursdays here) and find it hard to venture out of this place now! The bartenders are great: fast, accommodating, pour ample drinks and will do a shot or seven with you if they like you! My friends and I have closed this place out on a number of occasions. Â Happy hour is fairly priced and their Texas fries are to die for...typical bar food is ample here. Â It can be a bit loud and dark at times but by those times it doesn't matter. Â There are plenty of TVs and it does get packed almost every night.
Review Source:I'm not really a fan of bars in general, but this place was great! I went a few times - with different groups of people - and had a great time.
The bar itself was a nice size, the atmosphere was laid back, it wasn't too crowded and the drinks were good. There was a good variety of music being played but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk to the person next to you, which was nice.
So if you're with some friends and feel like grabbing a drink, give this place a try.
Great Bar. Heavy locals scene with some terrific people. Bar tenders are friendly and pour a solid drink. Plenty of TV's great for Sunday football.
I had a great cheese burger. Thick juicy patty, perfectly cooked and fries. I've heard all of their for is good. Let me know -
