Fairchilds Market

Service is just okay, some rude employees when you ask for vegetable chili that is on their soup of the day board and they yell back "we don't have chili today".  The food is overpriced even for excellent food, which it's not.  Wraps and sandwiches are good, but bland.  They will require salt and pepper at home.  All the precooked stuff looks likes it was done a few days early.  I can't imagine them throwing out all that food daily.  I've been there at closing time and got yelled at for trying to order something more complicated than a cheese sandwich and they had a ton of the pre cooked stuff left over.  Anyways, if Blimpie or McDonald's breakfast won't suffice and you make money you can burn I suppose you could visit this place.  They have a nice overpriced selection of beer, liquor and wine too.  Parking is terrible and the lunch rush is a joke.  They service 1 person at a time from a small corner ordering area.  

I really wanted to like this place, but it's just okay, maybe not even okay.

Great deli and solid selection of food/drinks in general.  Service is very good, everyone is helpful and nice.  Great lunch spot.

Ordered bagel with bacon egg and cheese - was cold without the cheese.  So called "famous mushroom" soup was filled 75% with flour to thicken and tasted bland Pretty poor for $5. This after waiting 30 minutes and getting order wrong twice.  Unfriendly service and disorganized and clearly overpriced. Maybe I will opt for blimpies across the street next time for better quality and friendly service.
