We're new to Livingston and found this place due to it's location next to the ShopRite in town. Â During the moving-in process, we were ready to eat the cardboard box pizza comes in, never mind the actual food so we gave it a shot.
I have to say, we've be consistently impressed. Â Selection is more than ample (they have all the classic Italian dinner options and even some creative ones), and prices are reasonable for the area. Â One of the things that I like the most there is their willingness to substitute on orders...add a side of rabe here, delete a mushroom there, etc. Â Most casual dine-in/take out places are unable to do anything outside their computer system.
Also, the staff is fantastic - it only leads me to believe it starts from management down.
Our favorites: Â ANY of the salads are big, fresh, and good. Â My personal favorite is the arugula salad. Â Pizzas are good, gormet pizzas a nice treat, but the Grandma Pie (thinner crust, square, plumb tomatoes, mozz, and basil) is the one we like the best.
If you're in the ShopRite plaza, give it a try - you won't be dissapointed.
