Stopped in for breakfast this morning. Â They did not have their advertised special Swiss oatmeal with toasted almonds. Why advertise if you cant meet demand. Egg panini sandwich was ok, though the apple chicken sausage looked a bit pink.
Other baked goods looked delicious, I will try them next time
I have mad love for the chopped salad at Corner Bakery. This location has a little bar style table lining the window facing Washington for us single diners to people watch. I'm typically seen there...munching on a chopped salad and reading my book...and occasionally savoring a whoopie pie.
Review Source:I don't even know why I stopped in here for a sandwich. I think I would rather overpay for somewhat edible food at the airport than this. $10 to slap together an ice cold sandwich to go. I got the Poblano Fresco with roasted chicken. Everything from the bell peppers, to the chicken, and rock hard bread was cold. Subway does a better job of putting together a sandwich. Then they ingeniously (note sarcasm) put everything loosely in a takeout box. The smallest shake knocked the sandwich apart as I later found myself eating the pieces one by one. I can't believe there is more than one location of this franchise. From the outside, it seems like they serve fresh baked goods, but I was deceived with a cold, unappetizing, unappealing, broken sandwich.
