This DD location is terrible. The staff is ok but the Manager is terrible! She is ALWAYS in a bad mood! Lord knows I try to be nice but she is always upset.
I ordered a coffee, cream and sugar and received a black (as her heart) coffee.
The weekday morning manager really needs to learn some people skills.
I gave the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough.
I got to one of the three dunkin' donuts near my office every day for a large iced tea. Only at this location is that problematic. Today was the third time they charged me the iced coffee price for my iced tea. The menu lists them at different prices, so as usual, I point that out. The first two times, the cashier apologized and fixed it. This time, she told me the menu prices were wrong and I would have to pay the iced coffee price.
Fine, whatever, just give me my caffeine fix. Except she only gave me (and charged me for) a medium. When I told her I had ordered a large, the response was "well, I charged you for a medium." Seriously? No offer to get me the larger size--just a blank and somewhat put-out stare.
On this trip, I also picked up a donut. Asked the woman behind the counter if the filling of said donut was chocolate. She said yes. Nope. Not chocolate.
I ended up throwing the donut away, and I'm now drinking my medium-sized iced tea, which works out because it tastes like it was brewed in a dirty coffee pot.
I will certainly not be visiting this location again.
Horrible is too kind of a word for this location.
Employees too busy in personal conversations, slow service that has made me late for work on numerous occasions when I work just across the street and consistent errors in orders. Â It's a running joke here at the office. Â Today was not exception:
Ordered a egg white flatbread with no cheese. Â When the guy making it gave it to me I asked "There's no cheese on this, right?" His response, "No cheese." Â I get to work (late again when I had plenty of time to spare before) and behold, cheese. Â I called to complain and the gal who answered said to bring the flatbread in so they can replace it. Â Except I'm at work now and can't leave until lunch. Â So here I sit with no breakfast and only coffee to tide me over until noon. Â Fortunately my building has a mini-mart in the lobby so I can at least run down and get some Greek yogurt. Â The point is I rarely grab a breakfast sandwich so this was my treat for the day and it's been ruined.
Update: I just got back from returning the flatbread. Â The manager, who answered the phone earlier, was there and happy to refund my money. Â The biggest issue was the cashier who took my order, who was still there. Â Apparently this is a new hire (surprise) and when the manager showed her that she didn't include "no cheese" on the receipt, she said to me "You didn't say you anything about cheese!!" Â Yes, I did. Â She didn't hear me. Â I've been in customer service for years and this just floored me. Â In front of her boss even. Â No apology for not hearing me, which is what would have done and HAVE done in the past. Â Unreal.
I have seen customer service reps in that location before surveying the activities but apparently it hasn't helped since the poor service and accuracy has really never changed in the short time that it's been there. Â Take your business to another Dunkin' Donuts in the area. Â Or better yet, another restaurant. Â The number of places offering breakfast on this block is jumping by leaps and bounds.
