It's ok, I s'ppose. It has a small interior; I got a spot at the bar, but I'm sure this place must be slammed right before or right after a show at any of the local theaters. But that's just my guesswork. But also beware the odd hours of this place. Â Bars get sparse on this stretch of Michigan Ave., so stop by if you're in the area, and if you have lots of money, 'cause Bodega V ain't cheap. I would like to sample Bodegas I-IV though; maybe they have drink specials.
Review Source:I work a few doors down from here and have grown to really love this place for lunch. So much so that I am going to redeem my second (Buy five and get one) free sandwich. The guys who work there are super nice and funny and make everyone feel like a regular - even the convention folks.
I love their Zetas empenada which is supposedly going to be on their regular menu soon. Â I'm not a huge fan of the other 2 empendadas but I still get them sometimes. Their sandwich of the week is usually VERY good and their daily specials (which are a great price) are also solid. I heard them tell a customer the other day that they bake their muffins in-house which also impressed me. Another Yelper mentioned the chips and I agree, get them!!
