We just had a delicious and wonderful birthday dinner at Morton's. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfect order, tender and savory.  Ordered scalloped, cheesy potatoes augratin, which were cheesalicious.  The spinach and mushroom sauté is a new favorite and the oysters at the beginning were a great beginning.  Service was fantastic and the waiter even took our picture and gave us a souvenir photo with nice birthday balloons and greeting drawn on the inside of the photo holder.  Another memorable evening at one of our favorite places in Chicago.  Love Morton's!
Review Source:Yeah the steaks are good, its the customer service that will have me coming back to this location. Â Hands down some of the best maitre d's in the business. Â If you are a repeat customer they will remember you every time and the wait staff makes sure to check your name before they come to the table and address you by your first name. Â
First class operation all the way will have me coming back to this location.
The atmosphere was so nice. Â Much cozier and warmer than I had expected. Â Our waiter could not have been nicer. Â He was informative, attentive, and kind.
I started with the onion soup which was good. Â It was very onion-y, and flavorful. Â Good temperature too. Â For the main course, I had the petit filet mignon. Â I had ordered it medium plus, and the quality of meat was very good, although it was more like medium rare. Â I was so full by the time I hit the middle though, so it was a good excuse to save any room I had left for dessert. Â Dessert was great. Â I had the creme brulee, but also tried the chocolate mousse and the key lime pie. Â All three were very good.
I look forward to returning!
