Mr. J's "Awesome Chicken Sandwiches and Cheese Burgers!" This spot is right on the corner of State St in  front of Loyola University Water Tower Campus.  A lil' high on the prices but hey GOOD fast food is rare. Hours of operation are awesome, til 2am! Perfect for a college kid after a long day!  They only take cash which is kind of wack but if you got the paper at midnight Mister J's has what you need.

This place has ur basic late night drunk food options. It is less hectic n packed then geek town n has way better food. I suggest the chicken or steak sandwich. And the gyros are always a solid choice as well. The staff can sometimes b not so polite although having to deal with drunk hungry people who wouldnt be. Only issue they don't accept credit cards, which is common for places like this.

Simply one of the best "Dagwood Burgers" you'll taste in the city.  I attended Loyola University - WTC which is located a block away from this establishment.  Mister J's always filled my lunch time appetite with their delicious dagwood special.  The other items on the menu are average.
