Favorite place in chicago to get gyros

What a dive! But the food is awesome and the prices are reasonable for the area. The place scared me when I walked in. Actually it was the crowd. You need to shop at the Salvation Army if you want to fit in. I ordered a cheeseburger special. It came out in short order and as I was filling my drink. One size fits all. I noticed the huge sign that read. Refills 50 cents! How about I give you a buck and you clean this place up? The burger came out and the plate of fries was huge and crispy. The bun was a surprise! It was soft and made the juicy burger even better. Surprise find in the Gold Coast. Here's to the low rent district.

Johnny has been around forever. Here you can get decent dogs, polish, gyros, 1/2 chicken and tacos among others. Been here a few times, service is courtesy, fast and professional.
