A friend and I found this place by chance and it has quickly become a regular stop anytime I'm even close to East Longmeadow!
The food is absolutely great, with something new and pleasantly different on the specials list each time I've been there.
The only thing better than the food is the staff! Friendly, patient and accommodating are words that barely begin to describe them!
The parking can be a bit tight, but you know what they say... a full parking lot is a good sign!
I lived here my whole damn life and didn't know Coughlin's EXISTED until I was 20. My life before that date is meaningless as a result.
Coughlin's is the greatest, and frankly is the only breakfast option in the area worthy of mention. Warning: Parking is a nightmare. Get the specials.
"The Best" local breakfast!! Try their scrambles, skillets, and seasonal concoctions. I love the peppadew peppers! Incredible service and food!
Heads-up:
Cash only (the good ones always are)
It's a small dinning area but worth waiting  for!! I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes.
I've tried a variety of dishes bfast & lunch.. It's all good!!
Its hard to give a breakfast place 5 stars becuase its hard to discern one from another- even the good ones-like Coughlins- struggle to reach the 5 star level- at least after only 1 trip.
Ill tell ya- i was most surprised by the staffing of the place- and by surprised I mean rather impressed.
It seemed to be run by a family and friends. The candor with the patrons was unique, as even the younger workers would make conversation with the lonely geezer next to me at the bar.
The atmosphere was definetly 5 stars, but its hard to say its the best breakfast in the Pioneer Valley.
me - "when do you guys close here?"
waitress "usually when the last person leaves" (said with 0 sarcasm and complete utility"
