Gino is the man!!!! Absolutely love this spot! A great place to go with friends to let loose and just unwind. Gino makes the best drinks I have ever had. Staff is extremely attentive and fun.  Definitely give it a try!!!

I loved this place. It is very friendly and the drinks are extremely cheap. I paid $5.75 for a Pearl Harbor and $7 for a Long Island Iced Tea.

The bulgogi sub was delicious and is exactly what'd you expect for a sub and it was running at about $8. We also ordered nachos and those were the big surprise of how good they were. They were freshly made and had a freshly cut jalapeños.

It took me a while to find this place on Yelp, but it is a very good spot to drink, hangout or play pool.

My new bar!! Wonderful Staff! John and Gino are two guys who know their beers! Usually have around 6-7 beers on tap and about 10 bottles on hand. This place has a constant crowd of regulars and is a favorite post softball spot.

I came here based on the article in the Washington Post. I was expecting otherworldly service by the tone of the article. The Service was just O.K, for example, I asked the Waitress/Bartender for the "The Sub, the one you are famous for", and she looked at me like I had three heads, as if they have a myriad of subs that are their signature one lol. Stands to reason that if you are supposedly famous for your Bulgogi Sub, then you would know what I was talking about. The food was great otherwise, and the service was good, not exceptional. I might come back and give it another try if I'm in the neighborhood.

I've been coming here a lot more recently since I can't seem to find a decent pool hall when I'm in the Annandale area. I think there's one above Cafe Chocolate, but it's usually a much older crowd. Cue Club is pretty chill. It's a lot smaller than all of the other pool halls that I've been to though. I think they only have like five or six tables. One fun thing that you can do is play the little computer games they have on the bar. My friends and I drank some beer and played photo hunt all night last time we went. You do have to pay for that though, I believe it was 4 credits for $1, but I can't remember exactly. The only thing that I've tried off the menu were the chili nachos. I don't know if it was because I was hungry, but it was so good! The chili was flavorful and they added just the basics: lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, onions and cheese. Probably something you could make at home, but I thought it was so yummy haha.

I've only been back here a couple of times this past few months and it dramatically changed from when I came here many years ago.  The biggest changes were the new game room, a karaoke area, a dart board section, a new modern jukebox with a ton more options than before, lots of TV screens with sports on, a giant projection screen, a new menu, and the pool tables are still there.  Cue Club is very different from before and you can tell from the tone and mood of the place.  Lively, friendly, and welcoming all around from those who work here to everyone that comes here.

And just in case you forgot you're in Annandale, AKA K-Town, they have a Bulgogi Sub on the menu to remind you.  It's like a philly, moist, not dry, but full of that Korean meat  bbq goodness, simply fantastic.  I could do without the potato chips and go for fries instead but I can't wait to sample the rest of the menu.  They have a nice selection of beer which I enjoy trying new brands.  The bartenders I've talked to are very friendly and down-to-earth guys which is part of what makes this bar great.

For a while I was looking for a local pub close by and I all but forgot about the Cue Club.  I'm glad I remembered this little gem because this is definitely my place to go to when I want to wind down at the end of the day.  I found my watering hole.  Where's yours?

Long time yelp lurker, first review, but I thought this bar deserved one. Found the cue club off yelp as a nice in between meeting place for a friend and myself and gave it a try due to its good reviews. Like everyone else says on here, Gino is one of the best bartenders I've ever had, and the main reason I'm writing this review. Great guy, very attentive. Oh ya and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I plan on coming back sometime even though its way out of my way. Thanks!

Went for drinks and pool. Drinks were priced relative to most bars. Playing pool was ridiculously expensive. Unlike most coin operated machines it was priced by the hour at a fairly crazy rate. The one distinguishing feature about this place (it being a pool hall) and it is way over-priced.

9/28/12 - Met some friends Thursday night for drinks. A tad apprehensive about what to expect when I walked in, that is until Gino walked into my life...best bartender ever. Strong spirits and good bar food all reasonably priced to boot. The music was great- a mix of old school hip-hop and modern alternative rock. Not only is the staff attentive but also uber friendly and so are the patrons.  My pals and I plan to keep coming back!

PS: I wrote this in September but had not logged in to upload my review. Have gone back a few times and it's still great!

Love the joint. Great place to hang out. If you're looking for high class and elegance, this place is not for you.  I don't play pool or darts here but I find myself keep coming back. The staff is great. Ask for either Gino or Lilly.

Great place to get some drinks and food. I recommend the bulgogee sub, the fusion meatballs and the roast beef rolls with the wasabi mayo. Ask for Maggie or Jhon at the bar the best bartenders in these side of town!

Went to The Cue Club on Saturday, June 23, 2012 for a birthday party - my friends had party set-up in the party room side of bar. Had appetizer trays at party - everything was very good! Wings, Pot Stickers, fresh fruit, etc. Very reasonable drink prices, friendly staff- would return to this place anythime - next time will actually play some pool and darts.

Local hole in the wall...literally, there was a hole in the wall for several months bc some lady drove her car through the wall!!!!!
Anyway, cool unpretentious place. Everything your favorite bar should have, cheap drinks, good bar food (with some Korean fares), pool, darts, video games, karaoke, TVs, jukebox, I mean what else could you ask for?!
The bartenders are super nice and attentive; I've never had to ask for a refill. Gino is the best!!!! So if you go, tell Gino, Sophie sent ya!

Make sure to get the bul-go-gee sub!  So delicious and served with spicy fries.

The best, most freindly staff ever.  Everyone who works here is attentive and friendly.  They make an effort to remember you by name as well as what you drink.  They ask how your food/drink is and you know they really care that you say yes.

A great space for watching TV at the bar or shooting pool in the other room.  They also have kaeroke and darts if you are so inclined.

We love to come here and chill, enjoy the amazing food, and continually get worse at pool as the drinks flow free-er.

On our various trips to Annandale's myriad of Korean eateries, husband and I have driven by Cue Club countless times.  I've noticed it.  I've glanced.  I've looked away and never looked back.

A few weeks ago, however, Sheri G.* wrote a review so glowing -- so titillating -- so thoroughly tempting -- that I bookmarked Cue Club straight from her approbation and made plans to get out here ASAP.  And what better time than during the NCAA b-ball tourney?, I ask you.  Your answer?  No better.

Husband and I nabbed another couple, and the four of us headed out to CC for some Elite Eight action.  Lemme do some bracketology for you:

    (1) March Madness vs.                                              (9) Nachos and fries vs.
    (16) NASCAR (playing on one of the other TVs)       (2) Korean bar food [including nachos!]

                                    (1) March Madness vs. (2) Korean bar food [including nachos!]

    (8) Pitchers of Yuengling vs.                                      (11) Endless pool vs.
    (3) Pitchers of Heavy Seas                                        (12) Endless darts

                                    (3) PItchers of Heavy Seas vs. (11) Endless pool

    (4) Juke box controlled by smart phone app vs.        (6) Friendly bar staff
    (14) Walking *all the way* over to the juke box          (2) Reasonable prices

                                   (4) Juke box controlled by smart phone app vs. (2) Reasonable prices

    (1) Saturday Happy Hour vs.                                     (5) Clean, well-appointed bar vs.
    (12) Weekday Happy Hour                                        (4) Dive

                                   (1) Saturday Happy Hour vs. (4) Dive

Truthfully, it doesn't even matter who makes it to the finals.  March Madness on the big screen + creative bar bites + endless pool + (bartender sneaking us special rate on) pitchers of Heavy Seas + Saturday Happy Hour + Dive = Cinderella story of the century.

*apparently THE Sheri G. was also here at the exact same time cheering on The Orange, but we narrowly missed each other!

Pool tables, darts, karaoke, jukebox, and Korean bar food, oh my!

When we moved out to the burbs, we weren't expecting to find such a great bar close by. The Cue Club is the ultimate neighborhood Cheers-style joint where everyone knows your name. Literally. The minute we sat down the bartender Lily came over and introduced herself and asked for our names and chatted with us for a while. I've never had a bartender do that before! She remembered us the 2nd and 3rd time we showed up too.

Lily says they've been improving on their beer list so they brought us over some samples. They have 10 beers on tap--Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, New Belgium's Snow Day, and Sam Adams cherry wheat are a few.

Cue Club serves standard bar food, but they also have bibimbap and a bulgogi sub. The sub is damn good; I highly recommend it. (P.S. The bibimbap was pretty tasty, but Snow Day and gochujang do not mix well, yuck!)

There's also a large projector TV, and they show various sporting events. One night an NBA game was on, the next weekend it was MMA. Supposedly Cue Club gets a good crowd for the Redskins games. They have 6 or 7 pool tables here, and we didn't have to wait too long to embarrass ourselves on a Saturday evening. But, they do host a pro league on certain nights, so it's probably more difficult to score a table then.

Thursday is karaoke night. There's a separate room for it so don't worry--some horrendous amateur singer won't interrupt your pool game.

Great place to chill at. Great Bartenders-especially Gino. Everyone is extremely chill and cool. Food and drinks are good. For those that enjoy shooting pool, this is the place to go.

The Cue is like cheers, you go because everybody knows your name and the bartenders are the most chill and friendliest around. The prices on food are relatively cheap and the drinks are cheaper than most places in Annandale. It has your dive bar feel but without the hipsters, they have pool tables that are well maintained with a local pool tourney. If pool isn't your sort of thing then they have darts for  you to play, though I do highly suggest you bring your own set. The set they let you borrow or use gets kind of trashed by the other bar patrons.

Best neighborhood bar around. The bartender remembers your usual order, your name, and welcomes you with a friendly hello each and every time you walk in.  The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is delish!

Ridiculously cheap yeunglings  on a Wednesday night.  I think they were two bucks?  Really cheap pool as well.  Interesting bar menu with some standard bar favorites and some korean food thrown in.  If I lived in the neighborhood this would be my joint.

I don't know about most people, but it's a rare treat when a bar tender remembers my name, let alone things about me as a person. While most other bars I've been to have been about slinging drinks to make a buck, Cue seems to be about slinging drinks to have a good time, while making money in the process.

The drinks are strong and well priced, the beers are cheap-to-fairly priced and every bartender there is friendly. Seriously, it almost feels like home. It's not uncommon for one of the bartenders to buy me songs on the jukebox or give me a free beer for taking too long.

Oh, and last time I visited, $2 PBRs on Fridays. What more could you want?

Love this place.  Great chill spot to shoot pool, watch a game, or have some drinks.  Food wise, their Nachos are way above average for bar nachos ( I get them fully loaded) and you have to try the wings here.  The owners are Korean and they do something special to the batter.  Best wings I've had in years, probably the best I've ever had in a bar setting ever.

$1 beers on some days and free pool with 25$ purchase on others.  Oh... the Cue Club is an official Amateur Pool Players Assoc. (APA) host venue.  So don't try to shoot Wed or Sun night.  None of the tables are open to the public until after 10 or so.

A great place to hang out, have some drinks, and play some pool.  When I lived in Alexandria a few years ago, my friends and I would end up here quite often playing pool and having a few drinks.  Not that big of a place, I think they have about 10 pool tables in here.  Very laid back atmosphere.  They also offer plenty of beer and mixed drink selections at the bar here.  The food is pretty good too.  I would often get the wings and they were always tasty.  The waitresses have always been great and are very attentive to getting you a refill when you are empty.  They also have a well stocked juke box containing some great music.

Good times at the Cue Club!
