Here last weekend- and usually when I spot one, we have to stop because I looove me a cherry dipped cone. I've had one at Tastee Freeze and Good God it was disgusting, so I had to rectify that with a better memory. Service was okay, as they were much quicker than the one in Tigard, Oregon where I just wanted to get out of the car and run a few laps before actually being able to pull up to the window. I saw how they made my cherry dipped cone at this location. And they don't know how. It's time to be re-trained or something. Dipping my cone halfway then dipping it again for more coverage, made my soft serve inside very melty! It already started dripping heavily in the car. Get it together people, pay attention during your cone dipping tutorial session! That cherry dip mixture is on warm folks, I use to work at a DQ one summer during my college years so I know my DQ shit. Like how one shan't get a blizzard if only one knew the horrors. Shhhhhh. Enjoy your blizzard while I quiver.
Otherwise I got my cherry dipped cone fix. It's so tasty! I'll be prepared next time with lots of napkins, maybe even request a cup. Drive thru open until 10:30 pm.
I was excited about that branch merging with Orange Julius, so I went a couple of times during the day and the service is fine. Â But go there in the evening around 8 or 8:30 and you have to wait at the drive through for more than 7 minutes. Â It took 5 minutes for the car in front of us to get their order taken and it took us more than that to get ours. Â Tonight we left and we waited for more than 5 minutes which is ridiculous for a drive thru window. Â We drove off and went to the one in Griffith and we drove through and were out in a flash. Â Two months ago, the 45th st. location really messed up the blizzards my mom and husband got, they were not edible. Â We are not coming back in the evening hours. Â In the day, the service and food is fine. Â Not in the evening. Â Whoever works evenings cannot handle more than 1 car at a time and cannot make good ice cream items.
