What a fantastic place to explore craft beer. A large section of various types of craft brews can be found at Beer Geeks, including a large number on tap. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the world of craft beer. The clientele is great as well. Excellent beer and great conversation. As well as live music on Tuesdays. You can't go wrong here. Top notch establishment, great atmosphere with arguably the best selection of craft beer in Northwest Indiana.
Review Source:I'm not a beer snob. I won't pretend to be. I do know what I like for the most part, and  when  I don't my boyfriend or the staff at Geeks talks me through it.
I love Beer Geeks. We typically go when it is slower, I've only been there once on Tuesday Bluesday. Â Weekend nights get pretty busy. Â We prefer to sit at the bartop itself. Â Jason, Rich and Sarah are amazing. Â They're always willing to let me sample a couple and they remember what I like, so they know what to steer me towards. Â Even the barback (who I call Fake Ryan Gosling, as he looks similar) is great . Â Everyone is happy to see you and I've never seen them be rude or stand off-ish to a patron. Â Even when someone walked in and said they're a Miller Lite guy, they didn't flinch. Â
I started as a Coors Light girl at 21, and then found Upland in Bloomington and became obsessed with Upland Wheat. My boyfriend convinced me to branch out, and now I'm a stout drinker.  Like I said, I won't pretend to be an expert on beer, but there is always something there  I've liked. Â
And if you're into off the wall movies, get there during a slow time. Â That's all I will say about that.
