One of the first few times I came here a patron smashed a pint glass off his own face. Â At that moment I knew I had found my new go-to bar to watch the Bruins after Murphy's in NQ closed.
Pros
-Prices
-Bartenders are awesome
-Lots of parking
-Plenty of TVs, no matter where you sit you can watch the game
Cons
-On more than one occasion when at a table it has been hard to find a waitress to pay or get a refill and end up having to go to the bar.
-Food is just OK, depends what you get. Â Pizzas are very greasy and burgers are always made medium-well in my experience. Â Most everything else on the menu is pretty good.
The key to a good bar is the bartender. Billy has been here for about 20 years, he knows what you drink, & is a great bartender. The foods good & consistent. This is a local friendly bar & they've got all the games on the TVs. Most people are pretty quiet & keep to themselves, one newer guy has been loud, obnoxious, & has been forward with the girls. Luckily, the bartender has seen it & told him to leave people alone. The guy's still there but we're hoping management will take swift action.
Review Source:What a welcomed surprise! Â Came here last night with my two daughters and Uncle Richard. All food was great. Beer was cheap, plentiful and cold. Thoroughly enjoyed their version of French onion soup. Outstanding Caesar salad pizza!! Â Will be back when I don't any to deal with the hassle and prices of Boston restaurants.
