The food here was not good at all, I had a stomachache the whole night. The games were interesting, although there were a lot of choices, the cost of each game were pretty high for some so the points went by really quickly.

Looking for a place to eat bar food with a chance to play with up to date games....this is the place. If you have toddlers or young children this is a fun place. Expect to spend between 25 and 100 dollars to play games. Don't think this is Chuck e Cheese...keep an eye on your little one. It does get dark and clean.

Came here for UFC 162. $10 Cover charge. Seating is a little awkward due to trying to get the maximum amount of people in there (come early, it fills up). The screen isn't a widescreen. It's squared. Sound system is loud. You can really hear people getting whacked, which was great when Anderson Silva got KTFO'd!

Five stars for Joyce! Cuuuute and has great hair!

This review is based on my kids' and their cousin's experience. My older daughter's attitude initially on the thought of going was "eh, ok" but once we arrived, she was more "yay, I like this place".  They had something for all age groups.  The new games are kinda cool.

I thought the remodel of the bar area (I haven't been there in a while) was very nice.  It's important to have a good bar area to hang out at while 7 kids run wild for 2 hours.

Went last night for son's 20th birthday.  Our server was nice but made several mistakes with our order.  Cheese fries come with ranch dressing(says so on menu), but took forever to get server back and when she brought dressing fries were cold, and she brough a microscopic cup of it.  My salad never arrived.  Shrimp mac n' cheese just ok.  Never got drink refills.
Worst part of dinner was when food runner brought us the wrong items.  One of our kids ate fries from the plate then the food runner took the plate away and actually served it to another child at another table!
The manager tried to make amends by offering to comp us the messed up appetizer. We had a "free appetizer" coupon already.  He should have offered to comp all the dishes that arrived wrong and the ones that didn't arrive, and the other table that recieved our eaten food.   The other table told me the manager only compensated them by not charging for the two meals that came to my table first.
We initially dropped $125 on game cards.  We were willing to spend more on games and much more on food and drinks, but after the first manager was so disrespectful to us and the other table by not taking appropriate action, we decided not to.
We asked for another manager who took better care of us.  Matt is a respectful manager that cares about the customers and wants them to return.
ABOUT THE BATHROOMS:  Be afraid to use the facilities in the game area.  The smell of urine was overwhelming.  No seat covers in ladies room-they were out both times I went in.  Trash cans over flowed with smelly trash.  Sinks disgusting - water and hair all over sinks and counters.
GAME AREA:  Most games were fun. Some games didn't work and took our credits.  Took 10-15 minutes to get someone to come assist and credit our cards each time.
If you choose to go here, enter at your own risk.

HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE DNBS!

This was a great kick it spot on Wednesdays and Thursdays nights back when I went to UCI  and I still like to come back once in awhile to get some drinks half off after 10PM! $5 Patron shots are my favorite!
They also have a huge variety of cocktails and super girly drinks.
I try a new one every time and am rarely disappointed!

There are also 2 bartenders who will make you this crazy drink that they pour out in about 8 shot glasses that are all the colors of the rainbow.
That one def made my night.

    Always a good time here!

Had to be the worst food I have ever eaten . I didn't even finish half my burger . The waitress asked if I wanted a doggie bag I replied " no , my English Bulldog wouldn't eat that and I wouldn't feed it to him " . Service was bad. Never going back

This is solely a review about their TACO TUESDAY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which is in my opinion and absolute gem...

They have $1 tacos (kind of like the fast food ones ya see/eat/devour)

And $2 Dos Equixxes that are BOMB AND WOW WHAT A STEAL! THIS GOES ON ALL DAY, or at least all night until it runs out. This is seriously the PERFECT place to go when you want to watch a game or had a hard day at work. I mean who am I kidding ya don't need an excuse for cheap taco and cheap delicious beer.

Also DnB's is pretty dang big so you have a lot of options to sit around.

the school i work at hosted an end-of-the-year dance here... and it turned out spectacular.

the service was very attentive and the manager provided us anything and everything we asked for.

our event went very smoothly, the food was always replenished at any sign of being empty, and anything we asked during the event, was promptly granted.

i would definitely recommend the midway ballroom for a group gathering. you won;t be disappointed.

Its a fancy chucky cheese that is way overpriced.  The food is ok and so are the
bars, but they come with a price.  The games are old except for some new ones,
and they are overpriced.  Its loud inside and gets crowded on the weekends.

I don't know if I agree with their makeover.  It's rather drab and they have no good free wi-fi for customers -- don't bother as your phone will drain itself trying to connect at DSL modem-like speeds.  I'm spending down my points and likely won't be back.  Where's the nearest Mr. Cheese?

Yesterday I took a few friends from my hall to hang out for the night. Overall the place can be good fun but you and your friends will have to create that for yourself. About one fourth of the games were broken and they don't even have it all labeled. It would probably be embarrassing if they did. One of the games I played did work properly so I asked for my money back. The worker took my card and said "alright we put it back" but when I checked there was nothing. So I asked a different person and HE SAID THE SAME THING!
Also some of their machines are completely rigged so it is impossible to win. I was so curious as to why we couldn't win that I recorded my friend playing. It's a game that you have to swipe your finger across the screen through a maze. It turns out that the time from 5 seconds down to 0 is actually about 2 seconds long. The video I took clearly shows the disparity between a regular stopwatch time and the game. For the first 6 seconds it is perfect but after that it just skips. They are understaffed so if anything went wrong in a game they only had one worker running the floor.
It'll be a decent experience if you go with a good group of friends but costumer service and integrity of the place are shameful.

This place is cool.  I have been coming here for a decade and feel guilty about waiting so long to give them a good review.  Service is fast and efficient, the food is good and the prices are great (you actually get MORE than you pay for, what a nice change!).

They literally have about 4 different atmospheres you can choose to be in.  The game room is loud, silly, fun.  The main dining room is moderately loud with nicer décor.  The sports section has plenty of big TV's with all the games on.  The bar at the entrance has kind of a lounge type feel to it.  And the banquet hall has kareokee on certain nights.

Its a great dave&busters, management and staff are doing their jobs extremely well here!

    Cheer Banquet:

We recently threw a large event and rented out their entire West Wing for a 300 person cheerleading banquet. We originally spoke with Ashley Kirby, who set up the entire party and menu and took care of everything! She made it very easy to read through the contract and was willing to work with almost any request we had. She was amazing and VERY accommodating, not to mention HILARIOUS. She made the whole planning experience quite fun.

Our party was set to start at 5 and go until 11:00pm on a Saturday. They let us arrive at 3 and start setting up our decorations. They suggested a balloon lady from San Clemente and I was VERY pleased with the work that she did. It looked like a wedding. The tech guys were very knowledgable and helped us out with all of our slideshows and videos we wanted to project on the screen. The bartenders were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and quick! Everyone at the party loved them and the kids loved them as well! The servers were on top of everything too! Here is a list of some of the bartenders, servers, and the manager on duty during our party that I would DEFINITELY recommend to anyone throwing a large party there:

    Manager: Jonah
Bartenders/Servers: JT, Roy, Andy, Kelly and Thor

Thor was originally scheduled as a server, but recently served as a tech somewhere else I believe, so when I had some issues with my computer, he always seemed to be RIGHT there ready to help me. He was VERY helpful.

Overall, I would highly recommend Dave and Buster's for a large party or banquet, as the service, food, and facility are wonderful. The price is definitely worth it!!!

ew please get some new bartenders.
I wish I remembered his name but the Asian bartender, with a tattoo on his forearm sucks balls.

He poured one shot way too small, and when the bf asked him to even it out, he replied "I can make your other one smaller so their even". LOL  W  T  F
    get the fuck outtaaa here.
if he wasn't an employee, he woulda got slapped. no tip.

Other than that, Dave & Buster's is like a Chuck E. Cheese for adults.
I've only been here few other time while in college, and supposedly they've remodeled the place. This will probably be my first and last time coming here being out of college.

I'll start by saying I really like D&Bs but today didn't work out so well. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and started with the Soft Pretzel Bite. They were pretty tasty and in my opinion, the spicy horseradish mustard sauce should be bottled and sold.

Watching our weight, we decided to share the Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo. Thank God we did. It was bad! The chicken was dry, the shrimp was tough  (there was only 3 or 4 pieces mixed in anyway) and the sauce was bland. Even sharing we left some.

At just under $27.00 for the above two plus 1 lemonade, we forced ourselves to leave a tip because service was ok.

We'll  be back, but not for the C and S Alfredo.

    Never again.
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was 6 of us-3 couples. When we arrived we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait and after an hour or so we realized we hadn't been seated nor could we find the hostess. A young waiter appeared at the hostess station and said the hostess went home... Oooookay. No update to us,  she just left and we were standing in front of the station. We ask how much longer and the waiter with a nasty attitude said they don't have tables that seat 6. Really? This "fun center" doesn't accommodate large parties? I wouldn't even say 6 is large. We take a look around and see other parties with the same amount of people if not more at their tables and then it clicks for us where we were...We ask for the manager who's attitude needed adjusting as well and finally get seated at this small table. Nobody is comfortable, we're scrunched in. The waitress comes and has a bad attitude as well. Now, a few of us had never been to DB, so we are not familiar with the menu. The waitress is impatient and walks away without addressing everyone in our party. We got up and walked out. Cheesecake Factory got our money that night and the service was outstanding.

Man I've waited about 5 years to finally go to a D&B's and I am highly disappointed in this crappy establishment. I've moved to Cali form Las Vegas, NV and D&B's advertise commercially all over Las Vegas but there isn't a actual location even in Nevada. So for years and years I've been teased by the commericals and since I am a gamer, drinker and food addict I've dreamed of always coming... FAIL!

Every single game in the place sucks except basketball, Deal or No Deal and maybe Fruit Ninja can slip in under the radar. But they have about 40 other video games that are pure trash and cater to very small children smh. My bad for thiking it was a 21+ joint but the food is poor and the drinks are expensive and watered down.

This is more entertaining for families with small children. Other than that, you're not missing out on much from this place.

Arcade, Billiards, Food & Drink. Is this place heaven? Close enough. This is a place for kids who never grew up but just got older... making this the PERFECT place for me to hang out. A good night at this place does tend to burn a hole through your wallet but so would a good night at the strip club.

I don't actually come here as often as I would like, so I can't name the best deals off the top of my head, but I know you can buy combos where you get food and credits for the arcade. They even have those games that give you tickets for prizes, which are fun just to collect. They've also got massive TVs where sports fans can hang out and have a drink. I love this place!

I love D&B. It's where grown ups come to play to feel like a kid again ;]
The best day to come is on Wednesdays because all the games are half off! Totally worth it. When you play any other day, your money goes out a lot faster! Best games to play are the ones that allow you to win 1000 tickets!

An awesome place to hang out at The Irvine Spectrum. This place is like an arcade for an adults. This one (and the one at Block of Orange) just got there sports bar and lounge COMPLETELY remodeled and it looks amazing. They had to turn people away on Super Bowl sunday because it was so packed. And for good reason! We were talking to one of the managers, who was super nice, and was telling us that they had 90" tvs and projectors installed in the sports bar, so cool.

Food was surprisingly good. I was expecting some sort of microwaveable arcade food but its better then some gourmet restaurants! First off their happy hour is one of the best i've seen. I had their spinach dip and it was to die for, AND they have a new asian menu. I ordered the hibachi salmon and it was just so good, comes with grilled pineapple in the side. Im obsessed. My friend had the Chargrilled New York strip and she loved it! But there were so many options on the menu, I was pretty surprised.

We didn't have any drinks, but they had quite a drink menu. There was group of girls having a birthday party and they looked like they were having a lot of fun.

And of course, the arcade games. They have a cool 4 person air hockey game, Doodle-jump, a bunch of racing games, etc. And the Winners Circle has an iPad as a prize option!

They have outside seating, different size party/event rooms, flare bartenders, and DJ on Thursday nights for college night!

I was pleasantly surprised by everything this Dave & Busters had to offer. I'm seriously telling all my friends about it and I'll definitely be back for more. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING!! lol

How can you not like Chuck-e-Cheese with some booze?!

I am a kid at heart so Dave-N-Busters is the kind of place in which I thoroughly love. Playing crane games, shooting zombies, winning tickets, all while being able to have a pretty lady attached to my right hand and a drink in my left. Sounds legit!

This location got super renovated so it looks much classier than it did when I went to UCI. The only thing I would have to say negative is that some of the machines are broken and they don't fix them too often. The happy hour cocktails aren't the best but they do NOT skimp on the alcohol.

We went to Dave & Busters for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night-- probably better known as "I'll shank someone for a parking spot night" here at the Spectrum.

Our party was quickly seated and promptly forgotten. This was unexpected as the dining area wasn't even full, and after fifteen minutes we still weren't offered any water or other beverages. I pretty much consider it a failure on a restaurant's service when I have to pull out my own water bottle to quench my thirst.

Things went uphill from there. I have a very restricted diet, so my orders usually involve 4-5 changes to any menu item. I got the steak salad with just the greens, extra avocado, and ranch dressing on the side. (For those keeping track, that involves removing the tomatoes, cheese, pecans, onion garnish, and vinaigrette.) The waitress did not get anything wrong, and my order came out perfectly.

My estimated macronutrient breakdown for the meal is as follows:
    Top Sirloin Steak (~3 oz): 160 cal/ 7 fat/ 0 carb/ 0 fib/ 23 pro -- [0 net carbs]
    Assorted salad greens: 25 cal/ 0 fat/ 3 carb/ 2 fib/ 1 pro -- [1 net carb]
    Avocado: 72 cal/ 7 fat/ 4 carb/ 3 fib/ 1 pro -- [1 net carb]
    Ranch dressing: 160 cal/ 16 fat/ 2 carb/ 0 fib/ 0 pro -- [2 net carb]

    Total: 417 cal/ 30 fat/ 9 carb/ 5 fib/ 25 pro -- [4 net carb] Low carb friendly!

The meat was cooked to a juicy rare and kept me full until bed (nearly four hours), which is longer than average for a meal of this size. I would eat here again, but only if it were paired with playing games at the arcade. As good as the food is, it just doesn't feel right to treat Dave and Buster's as a restaurant on its own.

Bottom line: The service here may be spotty, but I left satisfied because of the flexibility of the restaurant to adjust its menu to meet my dietary needs, and that carries a lot of weight. Bring something to keep your thirst quenched just in case.

I went here last night for a friend's 30th birthday. They don't accept reservations, but I called ahead and their Manager Ramsey took down my information since we had a large group coming (I didn't want to surprise them with 14 people, unprepared!). When we got there and I had balloons and a cake in hand, the servers said "You must be Jessica!" What a great way to make a first impression, by anticipating my arrival!

Our group wound up growing to about 18 people, but our server (Ryan) was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He made sure that every new arrival to our table got caught up with drinks and meals, and was always making sure the birthday boy was taken care of as well.

The food quality was REALLY good. Everyone was remarking on how the food was better than what they'd had there before. They also just went through a remodel, and the place looks really great in there.

I was very grateful for the excellent service, tasty food, and overall experience. I would definitely recommend this to folks for a weeknight group (especially right after work). It's not just for kids!

Not as big as the D&B's in Orange, but they did do a nice job renovating the place.  The bar area is much nicer.  I believe they have more room for some extra games because of the open space available in the arcade area.  When it gets crowded during the weekend, it's sometimes hard to get on a favorite.

Food wise, it's just mediocre.  Typical american diner food.  Ribs, chicken, burgers, etc..

Sports wise, I wish D&Bs would expand their private viewing area for UFC fights, etc..  Place is just way too small.  Maybe make the whole bar area near the front a viewing area and charge a $5 cover rather then cramming everybody in a small little room.

They remodeled this place.  The sports bar appears to have a ton of NBA action.  They put the Cavs game on the big screen, and the audio is full blast.  Happy hour beers and appetizers are a nice touch.  Even if you ask for stuff and they get the order wrong, who cares?  They will fix it.
In the fall they have a whole room full of Ohio State Buckeyes fans.  Sometimes several rooms.  Anywho, I will be setting a lot more business meetings here in the near future.  Who needs Starbucks or Corner Bakery when the si fi here works better?
And get Christina as your waitress.  Tip her well too.

They've completely redone D&B and damn did they do a good job! I've been here twice since the remodel and the place look super chic and "grown up". Yes, there's a million arcade games and the game room is filled with kids running around, but at least the other bar without the arcade is nice and big and very eye appealing. HH is still a solid good deal. If only they started doing food specials, but hey, I guess you can't have it all.

This place usually is relatively empty during HH so you'll never have trouble finding a table. I don't know why it's not that popular, but it definitely should be. This D&B totally has a new vibe. With their white upholstered seating and charcoal walls screaming sports but in a more sophisticated way. Wooo I'm definitely a big fan!

In truth, Dave & Busters' still is the best arcade in the area.

Weds and late-nights are the best time to come here. Happy hour from 9-close, 1/2 games on Weds. On weekend nights (thurs-sat), you have to pay a $3 cover but you receive a $10 coupon (which is worth it, $13 for $20 of credits).

If you come outside of those times I listed, expect to pay a little more.

I went here for the first time in awhile and I was wonderfully surprised to see that they've done a lot of renovations to the restaurant area. It now looks much cleaner and nicer. It also has a more sports bar feel to it which I like.

However, on this visit, we were there to celebrate a 21st birthday so all we cared about were the alcohol and the games. We found an empty area at the bar and waited around for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. We also found out that a lot of the games were out of order. Come on, guys. 1 or two machines is fine but we saw close to a dozen that were down. Not cool.

While waiting for Taverna Blu to open, we decided to take a stroll down memory lane and pop into Dave & Buster's for a drink. I say memory lane because in my early 20s, this was my fave hangout. I mean, my entire glassware collection was just TnTea glasses that I got from D&B (this was before I discovered Crate and Barrel). I was definitely surprised at the more adult and kinda upscale decor in the place. Although we didn't venture to the games side, I'm sure they were all there.

We went to the bar and were greeted with white leather highback seats and a bar that was completely open. The cocktails were still there so I decided to try a skinny margarita because they're all the rage. The bartender was pretty nice without being over the top.

I really like the new look. I don't know if this will be my new go to sports bar, but I'll definitely be back to try the food...again.

WOW I guess its been a while since I have been here.  The whole bar area has been revamped.  It looks modern, sophisticated with bar height tables and chairs. Nothing like the dinning area that still has that old town feel with wood walls and gold light fixtures.

Service was great and during the lunch hour this place is almost empty which is nice for anyone wanting to have a lunch meeting or quiet spot to escape.  Food of course is pretty darn good im glad they dont have the calories listed on the menu because im sure its just as bad as cheesecake factory.

Service was great we were asked at least 5 times if we were ok or needed anything.

Kudos to them.  I think they should do a lunchtime special to try to bring in the crowed.

Awesome hidden sports bar on a weekday... AND One of my favorite places to go during the regular NFL season is the D&B Sports Bar. The entire place is filled with huge flat screen displays and every game that is on at the moment.

You'll usually get your drinks and food in a timely manner and the regulars there are pretty cool. If you are tired of being crammed like sardines and not being able to hear the games at Yard House, this is the place to be!

Back in college, when I was a struggling student to pay my bills, DnBs was THE place to go unwind after a stressful week of studying and what not. The appeal was the dirt cheap drinks during select days of the week. Now that I am fully capable of buying any drink I like without thinking twice, DnBs has certainly lost its luster.

Friends and I found our way here because we wanted dessert. Make no mistake, DnBs is not the place to go to get dessert (duh!). We tried the banana fosters and the brownie sundae. Clearly, the brownie had been sitting in the freezer with other food long enough for one of my friends to say that it tasted like a spaghetti brownie. It had either absorbed other odors in that fridge or had a severe case of freezer burn because one bite made your stomach churn. It wasn't only our brownie but our friend's fondue dish came with brownies and realized the taste was off too. +1 for taking that horrible dessert off our bill.

I don't know how long ago they remodeled the inside, but it looks a lot more adult now with the bright, white tables. The games also seemed to have evolved from what I remember: I saw a giant game of Connect 4 and a 4 player vs. mode of Pac-man. I wasn't in a game playing mood that night but there looks to be enough variety to make a night out for anyone.

    LATE NIGHT HAPPY HOUR!

I don't know how it is during the day, but after 10pm, I am pretty happy here. This place gets a lot of mixed reviews. People love/hate this place for various reasons like the decor, the crowd, the service, etc. But lets be real... does it really matter once you got your alcohol fix for cheap? 1/2 cocktails and $2.50 domestic pints! I wish they had better deals for their import pints, but it still isn't bad.

It does get extremely packed on certain nights and the bartenders are slow because they are swamped, but what do you expect. Discounted alcohol and arcade games will draw a crowd. The drink specials are awesome! The food is actually pretty decent and certain appetizers are fairly cheap during the happy hour. I love the spinach artichoke dip! Wednesdays are even better because its 1/2 off games as well.

I will be back, not just for the drinks, but because I want to spin that damn Pirate wheel and get 1000 tickets. It seems so easy for everyone else!

There is nothing OUTSTANDING about D&B, EXCEPT their Happy hour!! I would say its one of the best places for Happy hour!!

DECOR: An Adult version of Chuck-E-Cheese. The games are fun and keep me entertained for a while with friends.

SERVICE: Mediocre. Nothing special or anything that stands out in my mind about their service there.

FOOD: Food is OKAY. Again nothing special about the food or the prices. They have the Eat & play deals which are okay as well.

DRINKS: Now this is why it got 3 Stars!! Happy hour is from 4-7 and 10-CLOSE M-Th I believe and all their drinks are HALF PRICE, including shots!! By far the best prices for Happy hour! I used to go here with my friends back in college almost every Thursday just for drinks. They have some pretty awesome shots too like the Leathal Weapon which is a 5 layer shot...and the Cherry Bomb which is delicious.

Every time when I pass by this place, I never thought this place was that big.
I was here with some friends and it was a buffet night.
I didn't try anything on the buffet, the roasted chicken lying deadly on the plate, the soggy cookies with browned strawberry and the over-loaded potato wedges falling off the basket, that killed my appetite already.

The best part of this place is the big old school arcade room inside.
Love, love, love it. It was the best part of the night.
All my 3 stars goes to that Arcade room.

P.S The gene machine from Fotomorph doesn't make any sense. Its supposed to show you the future baby  from you and your partner, instead they will give you any missing children's picture to fool you around. But it was still a good laugh.
