If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in there asking for 2 extra pumps of pumpkin in my coffee, and they interrupt me while I speak telling my order out loud. Then I get my coffee and I could taste that it wasn't what I asked for. I think in my head, should I say something I don't want to be a pain, but this happens all the time. So I was polite and asked if I could please have extra pumpkin sauce in my coffee like requested. The young man there responds "NO............ gimmie a min." I stayed quiet and got really angry because I was being respectful and that is NOT how I wanted to start my day. A woman who works there put the pumpkin sauce in my coffee. There is another D&D on the other side of Milwaukee maybe I will take my business there from now on. Or HOW ABOUT STARBUCKS. I think I will go there from now on. How rude. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

My first one star review.... THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE
So there you are.. 11:30 pm, you're watching TV and a random ice cream commercial comes on. Â You think to yourself... wow i'm a fat ass but I need this. Â You go and look up nearly all of your favorite ice cream shops online and learn that they are all closed... all but one... Baskin Robbins. Â You think back to your childhood (at least if you're my age.. late 20's) and remember the days when the company was a standalone ice cream parlor. Â Good memories, 31 flavors, a couple people working the counter... okay this will do. Â You throw on some sweatpants, maybe a hoodie and a hat to hide yourself in shame. Â Off you go to your local Baskin Robbins.
If your local Baskin Robbins is this one.. which is mine.. you're in trouble. Â I have gone here 90% during the late hours and you always get the same old corrosive teeth having, lazy bum. Â Now I get it, working at Baskin Robbins when you're an old man during the graveyard shift is hardly winning any pride in job awards, but put in some fucking effort. Â "yeah.. i'll take an oreo 31 below" Â "machine is broken" Â You'll get that one often, yet the machine is on, you can see it. " Let me get a scoop of Reese's Peanut Butter ice cream." Â Â "we're out of it" Â So if I show up at 8 am tomorrow, I'm supposed to believe the ice cream will still be empty. Â Great.. Baskin Robbins goes the way of magic ice cream refilling now. Â This guy must have a contract that says if what he needs to make isn't directly in front of him he doesn't have to make it. Â
It isn't just this location either, Â It took me going to four different locations in the Jefferson Park/Portage Park area to finally get what I wanted... and the worst part is that it wasn't anything to write home about. Â What is sad about this is even though these guys are the worst, there are no other options for late night ice cream consumption, unless you go to the grocery store... but who wants that.. I wish to be served. Â There is a reason they have strayed away from the 31 flavors branding, because they have maybe 16 now. Â Half of which are empty, or at least the ones I want. Â
If there is any justice in the world the roof will collapse on this place.. but don't worry, nothing will be lost... all the machines are already broke and the ice cream is already empty. Â
With all that said the Dunkin Donuts part of the store runs more effectively, as I believe way more people patron that side of the business.
Annoyed. I am truly annoyed.
Rude staff during the day and at night. They think they are doing me a favor by me patronizing this store. As a matter of fact, this DD and BR might have single handily ruined it from me going to any other DD/BR locations. With all that being said, during the wee hours of the morning there is this guy who works there that chews tobacco and when he speaks to you he spits it out at you. He is like the laziest employee on the planet. He says that the 31 below machine is out of order when it was clearly on. He just said it was broke because he didn't want to clean  it. I get it. Its late. You are too busy chewing tobacco. He is a part of this franchise and he should be adhering to their codes of conduct which i am sure isn't acting like a major DIC-K-tator. We ordered a brownie sundae from there. He goes into the fridge and uses his bare hand to put two tiny little pieces of brownie in there. Seriously? Really??  He ran out of ice cream and we asked him if he had anymore in back. He didn't even check and just immediately said no. I mean i highly doubt you would go without a backup of ice cream.
If you can avoid this location. The employees are rude and the Indian dude who works at night should be fired, straight up.
Because of the location of this DD i continue to give them my business, and i really wish i didn't have to.
The women that work behind the counter in the mornings are completely rude and ridiculous. I could go on and tell you about the half dozen confrontations i've had with the staff there but it's really just a waste of time. I even had to go as far as contacting corporate because of their behavior towards customers.
my advice: get in and get out as fast as you can with your coffee and donuts in hand.
i wish they'd open a starbucks in that mini stripmall where this DD is located!
