I prefer Dunkin Coffee over Starbucks. I think the fact that the coffee is inexpensive is what really enhances the taste for me. If you're looking for strong coffee to keep you awake, this isn't the place to go, but since Chicago is a cold place to be, Dunkin coffee is a good pick me up when you want something hot to drink.
This location specifically is pretty convenient, as soon as you get off the brown line, Dunkin Donuts is waiting for you. I love the place and the employees there are pretty nice.
I used to go to the Dunkin on North/Clark and just assumed that all Dunkins must be slow and terrible. This one proved me wrong! It's fast, efficient, very friendly...and your orders are always accurate. They also have a Belly, so they're rewarding the regulars Â
This Dunkin is PERFECT for the morning commuter. Don't be intimidated by the long line between 8am and 9am... it goes VERY quickly, and you're in and out in just a few minutes.
The only drawback is that it's a small space. It's not great for spreading out and studying, and it may feel cramped/awkward if you're trying to sit down and chat with friends.
Take it for what it is: a great place to grab some coffee and get on with your day.
It is what it is. Obviously you know what you're getting when you go to a chain like this.
This particular store is fairly small...not an ideal place to sit down for coffee + donuts, especially since it's frequently busy (right off the brown line stop and in the middle of various office buildings? You better believe it). However, the staff is efficient, good at taking orders and getting them out quickly.
If you're looking for a fun coffee shop and a place for good conversation/workspace, this isn't for you. If you're looking to get your usual DD order and get out quickly and efficiently, you might find that here.
