I was disappointed in Durty Nelly's. I ordered the Fish and Chips. The Fish was good but the Fries were not as good and the Fountain Drink (Diet Coke) mixture was off. The Cole Slaw was below average.

Their service was just average the server was the only server and was handling the Bar as well.

I am willing to give Durty Nelly's a second chance but so far just below average.

Durty Nelly's is a fun pub with good beer and whiskey. The shepard's pie is homemade and delicious. My fiancé ordered a powers irish whiskey, but they didn't carry it. So, they actually ordered it for the bar for us next time -- talk about great customer service!!!

So, it's a bit smelly in here (I blame it on the carpet and the fabric bar stools), and the food is average, BUT you really can't beat the trivia night they host there. The questions aren't created/produced by Durty Nelly's, but the fact that they let Geeks Who Drink use their bar on Wednesdays is awesome.

So far I've had the fish and chips (3 out of 5), turkey club (4 out of 5), turkey melt (3 out of 5), and corned beef (2 out of 5).

I was most disappointed by the corned beef reuben. The meat was tough AND chewy (depending on which area of meat I was eating), and just not good... They also gave very little sauerkraut (which I actually liked!)

The fish and chips were just average--the meat was a bit chewy (shouldn't it be flaky??) but the tarter sauce made up for the average texture. Also, the beer batter got SO soggy so quickly. I wanted more crunch!

Service here is pretty good if you get Justin, the awesome mustached waiter. There's also a bubbly, short, middle-aged blond who is really friendly and sweet.

I've been hearing about this place ever since I moved to the OC. I love to Karaoke and heard some good things. I gotta tell ya that I've probably driven past this place everyday headed to work and have never been able to spot the location. However, come the night time, this place lights up and you can see it from the street!

There is nothing Durty about the inside of the restaurant which I thought had a great layout and decor was very cozy. I just ordered a Cheeseburger which was very tasty and would definitely come back for another.

I give the restaurant portion by itself 4 stars alone. Unfortunately, what drags down my review was my Karaoke experience. Being a Kj to a bunch drunken wannabe american idolist's can be rather difficult. The night had several parties and it definitely was busy. However, I was barely able to get in 2 songs within a 4 hour period! I have been to other Karaoke bar that were just as crowded, but was able to sing at least 3, if not 4 songs for the night. The rotation was all over the place. The karaoke also closes at 1am, which was a bummer. Regardless, the Kj is a great guy and has a hard job to do. He has an AMAZING collections of songs that the most seasoned karaoke singer would love! A lot of rare songs that you hear in Albums but not in a typical karaoke playlist. I would go back just for the type of songs that I would be able to sing, but the wait time is what killed it for me. Great collection of songs, but what good is it if you can barely get 1 or 2 songs in. If you are lucky!

I was quite disappointed by the food taste and preparation. The Shepherd's Pie was oily and non-savory. The ground beef was unseasoned and the gravy was a bit oversalted. The Cobb salad presented itself as limp and unappetizing. The lettuce tasted old and not fresh, while the selected ranch dressing appeared and tasted watered down. The fish and chips also ordered were more batter and oil and when biting into the fillet, bland and gamey in taste. I was not overy impressed and more disappointed with the taste and presentation of the food.

I've come here several times, always had a good time until tonight. I put my name in for karaoke an hour ago and watched the same guy sing 3 times already. I understand that he probably put himself down for 15 songs but you should let someone new join in the fun. Same thing for a few other people. Next time I'm going somewhere else.

Good food, good Irish beers. It's idiotic that two guys sitting at the bar are charged 50 cents to split a tab, simply because we know eachother. Dumb enough rule to keep me from coming back.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. Good food, good atmosphere. I get my bangers n mash, and fish and chips fix here a couple times a month.

The food was very pricey and average. Also, the quantity of food was small: my fish & chip cod was small and the fries were undercooked and the Irish Stew was nothing to write home about. In addition, I ordered the cheese cake for dessert and it was awful: tasted like they just microwaved a frozen piece of cake. I asked the bartender how big the desserts were and she said it was a nice size slice. The cheesecake was the smallest, thinnest and priciest slice of cake I have ever ordered.

I should have known the food would not be spectacular because the place was dead slow on a Saturday night until karaoke started at 9 pm. Then the place got real busy but it looked like people were just ordering drinks. The karaoke festivities were pretty good and the DJ was entertaining and kept everything moving.

The server was very nice and had a pleasant smile but she wrote a mandatory 18% tip on my receipt for a party of two: very indecent. There were other odd things that happened that I will not go into. But, make sure you check your receipt before you leave. How is this treatment for a first time customer using a livingsocial coupon going to get return visits?

Go for the pricey brew and karaoke but definitely not the food.

This place is great. They totally know how to pour a Guinness! I always order at least 2 Guinnesses and fish n' chips. I usually sit at the bar and the people behind the bar are really chill and enjoyable.

I've tried their shepherd's pie but it was a tad bit too much for me because the meat was overwhelming but I suppose meat lovers will love it.

The service and parking situations are great. It's cool because everyone is friendly. When I want to be left alone and quietly drink my beer, people leave me alone. When I'm in the mood to socialize, everyone is down to earth and not afraid to talk to strangers.

This is the kind of bar that you wish we're right around the corner from your house, because it is a cool place to stop in for a drink and unwind. Also, if you are into it, Durty Nelly's has the BEST KARAOKE EVER! The food is standard pub fare, and while its not incredible, it's also not disappointing. This place is everything an Irish pub should be.

Overall a fantastic place.

I moved from San Francisco to Orange County in 2012 and some of my finest OC memories are playing pub trivia at Durty Nelly's on Wednesday nights.

The staff is always extremely helpful and attentive. The prices are more than reasonable and the place attracts a very enjoyable crowd.

Trust me if you're even slightly interested in pub trivia come on down to Durty Nelly's!

A cool Irish pub literally 2 mins away from my digs. SWEET!
They have $4 and $6 HH selections with a minimum 1 drink purchase. I opted for the Shepherd's Pie and it was yummm! I'm a sucker for gravy and it was wonderful. The Irish Stew was pretty darn good as well.
Apparently they have a good karaoke night here- just might have to check it out!!

I first went to Durty Nelly's a couple weeks back because they host a Geeks Who Drink pub quiz on Wednesday nights. I had a little difficulty finding the place, since it sits in the same parking lot as the Stonemill Design Center, which seems a really awkward spot for a bar. Also awkward is the fact that their front door is not on the side facing the street, but the side facing the parking lot, where their smoking area is. In the few times I've been back, I see at least one group of people per night walk all the way around the building, just trying to figure out how to come inside.

But all the awkwardness aside, this place is really fun! It's a nice, intimate venue for a pub quiz, and the food/drinks are really well priced and delish! So far, I've enjoyed just about every appetizer this place has (all their Happy Hour portions are either $4 or $6) and a plate of their fish and chips. Their beers are also only $4 per pint, so you can enjoy a couple beers and not wreck your wallet.

Overall, my only really complaint about Durty Nelly's is that they close really early (this may also be because I've only been there on weekdays). Seriously, after the pub quiz finishes up around 9:30pm, this place clears out and the lights come up. I've seen people try to come in closer to 10 and get turned away. Even being open until 11 would be nice, so people could socialize and not feel rushed out after the quiz.

Also, if you're coming to the quiz on Wednesdays, call ahead to reserve a table! Some nights there are barely enough tables for all the teams, so (especially if you have a large group) they'll be sure to fit you in if you ask. :)

Came here for Pub Quiz with coworkers. I think it is an interesting event to have, and was mildly entertaining. I was pretty useless though. I think they tend to ask questions that only white people know.

Anyways, the pub itself is pretty small and hidden. I would never be able to happen to stumble across this place. Not true if its like this for all nights, but it is LOUD. Of course, it didn't help we were right by the speakers. But even when someone next to me was yelling, I could barely hear them. The drinks were decently priced ($4) and there was happy hour going on during the pub quiz. They are all 4-6 dollars for plates which seem like a really good deal, consider the regular menu items are all in the 10-15 dollar range. I just had chips and salsa and two beers. So I can't say much about the food. But it seems to be a decent pub with fun activities going on, such as pub quiz and karaoke nights.

Came here once for lunch with a friend. Ordered the Irish stew, which I've never eaten before anywhere. It was tasty, although I wish it would have come with some bread or crackers to help soak up the soup-like sauce.

The place is pretty small, which might be intended (are pubs in Ireland kind of small and close quartered?). I'll probably come back again during a happy hour or if there's a USC football game being shown.

Tried this place out today with my go-to happy hour friend, Stephanie. I'd never been to an authentic Irish pub, so I was excited to lose my pub-ginity.

The interior is exactly what I pictured an Irish pub looking like. It's a small place hidden in the middle of a corporate shopping center, but not hard to find. Our bartender was the only person working at the time, and even though she had a full bartop and bar area, she waited on everyone like a champ - efficiently and with a smile.

I ordered a $4 glass of Guinness, and it was FANTASTIC. It was poured perfectly, as if it were a piece of art. I've never seen a more beautiful glass of beer. The food selection was out of this world as well - hot wings, potato skins, and so much more at a mere $4. After two beers and three filling dishes, Steph and I had a tab of $23. The struggling college student in me couldn't be happier! We definitely will be coming here more often to satisfy our 'best bang for your buck' happy hour cravings.

My go-to karaoke spot. Heavy pours, great service and a $5 taxi ride away from my house. Need I say more?

Okay, then I will. Everyone who knows anything about the karaoke scene in OC knows of Kevin, the KJ here at Durty Nelly's. Yes, he's awesome and friendly and genuine. Yes, he has an incredible selection of new songs and old songs and obscure songs that you like and are pretty sure no one has ever released as a karaoke track. Yes, he looks like Weird Al and does a mean Kermit the Frog impression.

The only drawback to this place? The word is out! On any given Friday or Saturday night you're lucky to get two songs in and it's a very rare night that you'll be able to sing 3 because the place gets jam-packed. I also think the concierge of a local Newport Beach hotel must be recommending this place to people because more than once I've seen entire bridal parties in full regalia (yes, including the bride in white gown) in here getting slammed on a Saturday night and singing about how it's a nice day for a white wedding.

Not a fan of anything I've ever eaten here, but that's not what I'm there for so I'll let it slide.

Oh yeah, and if you're at all into celebrating drinking holidays, the St. Patty's Day extravaganza this place puts on is the best I've ever been to. Well organized, multiple bars (they literally cordon off a section of the parking lot, setup a tent and add another bar outside.) Karaoke inside and live bands in the tent outside.

Oh yeah, and trivia on Wednesday nights is fun too.

Oh yeah... that's all I got.

At first seem like a cool place. Bar nestled in a business area so kinda off the beaten path. Was there for a birthday party. The birthday boy was a huge fan of karoake'ing so we signed him up for a ton of songs. Mid way through the night, we found out that the DJ/MC was holding all of our requests for him and not letting him sing. I realize that everyone has to get their turn but when we are there two hours before the karaoke'ing begins, I would think he gets a couple of songs in at the beginning. Or DJ could have just let us know that he can't play all the requests and for him to choose a couple.

Only possible pro: Karaoke people watching. The Rubberbandit cover was awesome!

Went in with a Yelp deal. Place is cute and kind of hidden in a business park, just off of Bristol. We went on a Wed evening. Place was PACKED, but we were able to get the last available table.

Food is bar food...but their Fish and Chips with Shrimp is excellent - fried to perfection. The fries were not as crisp as I like. The Irish stew was a bit disappointing: veggies were bland and it was more of a soup, than stew.

Ambiance...fun and energetic.

Service...We had great service. The servers came to our table at least 4 times. Beers refilled promptly. We had artichoke appetizer, shrimp and fish plate, Irish stew and 4 beers. Our bill was $50. Our yelp deal was $50, so it worked out perfectly.

It's a nice little place and I would go again.

Came here on a Wednesday for a special Mad Men themed pub trivia. This was definitely one of the best pub trivia's I've been to. Well organized and the MC was entertaining.

Our waitress Nikki was very nice and had our tables reserved for us when our group got there. The food was decent. I got the Fish and Chips. The tartar sauce and fries were really good and the fish wasn't too rubbery. The fried portion of the fish tasted a little bland but that's the joy of tartar sauce! I wish I'd specified that I wanted the Happy Hour Fish and Chips (they had great priced happy hour offerings for the whole quiz) because I ended up spending twice as much on the full sized menu version.

You wouldn't expect an Irish pub to be in such a business-focused/industrial area (well I guess for that exact reason you would expect it) but I appreciated how easy it was to find (even after my GPS pooped out on me) and the ample parking available.

I think I may be frequenting this place a little more often for all my pub trivia needs!

I bought a Groupon $20 towards $40 so I came to check it out.

FOOD: BAR FOOD, not too bad as long as you expect it

BEERS: A good Irish selection, 4 on tap including a cider

This is why I am giving this place a 1 STAR RATING... We had a sampler platter and some fruit and 4 beers on tap, gave them the coupon and were just TOLD the cost after the $40 discount was $41.something.... WTF?!

My boyfriend is a light weight and we were having a "good" time so he didn't question it and I didn't know about the cost til he had already paid. I was very upset.. as you could imagine.

These people straight up stole money from us by not providing a BILL, taking advantage of people when they are getting buzzed. Shame on them

I love Durty Nelly's. I've been here many times before on their "alternative ladies night" (Sunday) - I think they're closed on Sundays now - so when the Yelp deal came up I had to get it!

This place is just a good time. We went on the Karaoke night and stayed way later and drank more than I intended but had a fantastic time! You can't beat a little pub with good food, good drink and good entertainment.

I went here the other night and while I enjoyed myself, I found the service to be a bit disorganized. It seems that we arrived at a time when the waitress and bartender were both on break. We couldn't get seated and the bar was full. When we finally got a seat, it was impossible to get a beer.

Finally the bartender came back and from then on, all was great. I had fish and chips and beers. The bartender was actually very nice and attentive. Not sure why it was so difficult to get seated and served but that type of thing always rubs me the wrong way.

Mixed feelings on this place, the Calamari was just ok, the nachos tasted like they had been soaked in viniger. We had a Goupon coupon but the waitress would not let me order the Prime Rib Special with the coupon (that was $20 for $10) and we well exceeded the coupon.
Then we only got one round of drinks the whole meal from the waitress so I had to get up from the table twice to order my drinks and to be honest that was ok but not to be acknowledged the whole meal was less than flattering.

Will I be back? Sure, the band was great and seemed like a nice place to knock back a few beers.

It was date night for the fiance and I and we decided to find a unique place to go so we tried Durty Nelly's because I'm normally a fan of irish pubs. To be honest, we were pretty let down. The food was whatever. They were just huge portions of really greasy fattening food. We didn't finish anything because we were pretty grossed out. The service was sub par. We knew coming into it though not to expect anything from a pub. When we tried to close out it took the bartenders about 30 minutes to figure out our tab and close us out. The crowd was odd - a little older and definitely not a classy crowd [no offense]. The karaoke was fun to watch but that was about it. It was not our scene at all. We
like to be adventurous about where we go out, but we won't be back anytime soon.

Our second stop during my bachelorette party was Durty Nelly's Irish Pub. Like the other places we visited or planned on visiting, it was conveniently located and who doesn't want to consume more alcohol during a bachelorette party?

This is where I end with the positive and really start ripping into this place because aside from the convenience, there really aren't too many good things to say about this place.

The bar is cramped and crowded on a Friday karaoke night. They only have one bathroom for the ladies and one bathroom for the men so typically there are several people waiting to use the facilities along the narrow corridor. The service absolutely sucks at this place. After we ordered our first round of drinks, it took a considerable amount of time before we saw our server again. Granted we were busy opening up bachelorette night gifts and laughing ourselves silly, we still could have used a few more drinks for the group. We did not try any of the bar food as we had just dined at a nearby restaurant so I cannot comment there. But I will say this, their beer was warm and sickening. In that regard, I am glad in a way that more drinks were not ordered.

The Hell began when karaoke started. The stage is small, the noise level is obnoxious and the singing... well, let's just say if you need wall paper peeled off the walls, this is the place to be. To their credit, they had one or two people that were not as inebriated as the others who took the stage and actually sounded good but with a minimum of a two hour rotation between singers, it was pure torture to sit there and listen to this! Generally the audience was very supportive of the "performers" but then again, most were there way in advance and drinking heavily. Which brings up the question, how much alcohol does it take for a really bad singer to start sounding good? Unfortunately, I do not have that answer and I hope I never have to find out personally.

This was definitely one of those once in a lifetime experiences that I NEVER want to repeat again. I loved sharing the time with my friends and celebrating my upcoming wedding however, I would have been happier had we gone back to our hotel to open up gifts and spent time in the Jacuzzi with several bottles of bubbly. Karaoke at Durty Nelly's was just not my cup of tea.

Any good Irish American needs a local pub to call home. Durty Nelly's is quickly becoming mine. I used to swear by Skosh Monahan's, but as the prices rose, the portion sizes shrunk, and the proprietor became more and more of douche to the citizens of this fine city, it became clear that I needed new digs. Durty Nellys is more than sufficient to fill that void.

I love the waitstaff here. They treat you like friends from the get-go, and even when you make an obnoxious request like, oh, say, "Do you have room for nine of us on this super busy pub quiz night," rather than spit in your food and curse your family, they find a way to accommodate your party and don't hold it against you for the rest of the night.

The food is standard pub fare. Fish & chips, bangers & mash, etc. Just as good as other local pubs and at a better price. Plus, they have a great happy hour menu. I'm a sucker for the potato skins.

Make sure you hit up a Wednesday night pub quiz. I've heard good things about karaoke as well, but, as a geek, it's all about the quiz.

One would think if a business offered a "Yelp deal" they would be extra conscientious of that particular clientele since they are bound to write a review of your business and post it on the internet for all to see.

My girlfriend (Brittany P) and I met up with my buddy (Jason M) and his wife and kids for dinner. My buddy and I had both purchased the Yelp deal ($25 for $50 worth) and were excited at the prospect of having a cool new restaurant/bar at which to hang-out.

As soon as the friendly bartender/waitress found out we had the Yelp deal her demeanor changed dramatically. She went from happy to see us to very matter-of-fact and even cold.

I don't want this review to turn into what could be a lengthy ordeal so I will be brief...

Our food came out in oddly delayed stages. The food was pretty average; nothing remarkable. I'm not saying it was bad, but it certainly wasn't great.

I had planned to supplement the $50 credit with beers since I didn't have a maniacal appetite enough to eat $50 worth of their grub. She rarely came around to check on us. Therefore, I had two beers with dinner and only reach $41.25 toward the $50...

She brought my bill, not even asking if I wanted to get a drink or two more to reach the $50. I paid, left her a tip, and left... NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN.

I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REMAINING $9? DID SHE POCKET IT AND ADD IT TO HER ALREADY HEALTHY AND UNDESERVED TIP?

I am certain my clumsy prose isn't illustrating well enough the shitty experience or the frustration I felt with the manner in which I was treated. Hopefully my fellow yelpers have or had a better time!

It was St. Patrick's Day, and my Partner In Crime Katie B was jonesing for some good ol' fashioned Irish ruckus-raising. Unfortunately for her, it was 2pm or so and most of the rest of the world was still at the office in their green outfits waiting to celebrate at night. After a quick search on Yelp for Irish pubs in the area, we pulled up to Durty Nelly's and her face lit up immediately. They already had their tents up and St. Patrick's Day signage everywhere. They were ready, just like Katie B!

We were seated immediately and given a St. Paddy's day special menu which included bangers and mash, Irish stew and corned beef sandwiches. I'm guessing that St. Paddy's day is one of their most bumping days because they were fully prepared with plastic silverware, styrofoam plates and folding chairs to accommodate the extra traffic. I wouldn't say it was the classiest setup ever, but I imagine it was highly necessary on such an important holiday.

I went with the corned beef sandwich, which came on some incredibly soft rye bread with a side of cole slaw, which I very much enjoyed. Katie B also loved her Irish stew, but Tiffany N was not a big fan of her sandwich as she didn't like the rye bread, and the fries that it came with were kind of cold and unfresh. The dishes were all over $10, which I found to be pretty pricey for something eaten off of styrofoam, but again I understand that it was a special occasion. Katie very much enjoyed her black and tans as well, though we regretted not getting the green beer that we saw others enjoying already.

I really liked how into it everyone was. It wasn't even dark yet and people were in their full on green boas and leprechaun hats and ready to party. I'm glad we found a spot to celebrate Katie B's favorite holiday, but I have to say that we got in and out early, because I could only imagine the circus that it was about to become later that evening!

Durty Nelly's is in fact, very dirty indeed.

Let's start with the good: Turkey Club + Fries were really really good. Also, there's a super nice waitress with a booty that's just straight up ridiculous. Needless to say, I kept ordering rounds through her.

Now, I can see why this place gets packed--lots of booze and karaoke all night long. But would it kill them to keep hygiene a priority?

After ordering a few pitchers, the bartender kindly handed me some mugs. I grab them and head back to my table...and I'm filling up my own mug only to find a huge lipstick mark on it. G-R-O-S-S. It didn't even look like they attempted to even wash/clean it. So I notify the barkeep, they take it to the back to get it "washed." Later I noticed someone in my party with another mug with lipstick on it....whether it's the same mug as mine, or simply another mug in itself, that's still pretty disgusting.

So I quickly finish my food so I can get the hell outta here, I head to the bar to grab some napkins...only to find the top napkin with dried up blood on it.... I thought I came here for food and drinks, not a disease. -_-

Not sure how many health code violations I've endured during my visit here. Never. Again. Ever.

Durty Nellys is a pub nestled in un-bougiefied part of costa mesa in fact, upon driving in, you'd probably gotta question your navi for seemingly getting you lost

It can get crowded but I don't mind the people that frequent this cave for the inevitable drunken stupor. Everyone's there for some belligerent karaoke action which never fails to deliver endless laughs.

Good brews + drunken brazen singing = a fucken rad night

This pub is hidden on the side of Costa Mesa that I never knew about. I walked in and there was a crowd of people sitting around and a lady on stage singing to a version of Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. Can this be? Is it true? Karaoke night?! L wanted to get on stage for some singing action but I needed some liquid courage before anything was going to happen. We both grabbed a Hef and enjoyed the free entertainment but were interrupted by two older men. Like way older. After the two older men had left another came over. So, I guess this place has a lot of older men looking for arm candy. Keep looking buddy cause I ain't it! We finally got on stage and sang our hearts out to Blondie, Joan Jet, and of course some Spice Girls. Super fun night minus the older men that were competing for the "who can be the creepiest" title.

If you think you're a karaoke superstar you have to give this place a try.

If you like beer, cheap bar food, and 80-some year old white men who make fun of Asian people, this is the place for you. My coworkers and I came here for some Happy Hour and oh man this place is packed with old white men. Although there's nothing wrong with being an old white man, don't crack Asian jokes when you're sitting right next to us. We gave them the mad stink eye.

I got a black and tan and later ended with an Irish car bomb since it was our friend's birthday and he's never had one before. Delish! And not bad for $7.50. They have a whole list of HH appetizers ranging from $3.95 (one of which includes a burger with some fries) to $5.95. The owner kept pushing us to eat steamed artichoke. We don't want no stinkin' steamed artichoke! We want real bar food so ordered a plate of fries, onion rings, and potato skins. Hmm deep fried starchy goodness. The fries were fine, the potato skins were aiiite, but the onion rings were pretty tasty. Great thick crunchy batter with the onion fully cooked. I hate it when onion rings taste raw!

This is a pretty cool bar close to where I live that I have been wanting to try for a while. I went on a Friday and the place wasn't busy. I am not a fan over super crowded bars so it was a good amount of people for me. I hear Saturday is the day to go though.

They had karaoke going on that night. Some people were good at it while others provided for some good entertainment. I avoid doing karaoke because I don't want to make people's ears bleed.

This is a really cool locals bar for the people of Orange County. Nice place, they have karaoke on Saturdays. Good times.

The drinks are fairly priced.

And also, if you're looking to get laid, don't bother, everyone comes here in friend groups...so they can be a little cliquish, but still a pretty friendly crowd nonetheless.

Mostly a locals bar, you got a bit of frat boy crowd, you got a pretty nice and friendly crowd. So check it out! :D

Quick & Dirty: A "Cheers" type bar with live music. Warm, friendly, fun, a cool place to kick back with some friends and do what nature intended.... drink.

Long & Durty:

So some friends wanted us to meet them here and I tried to find yelps on it but couldn't find anything. Why? Because they spell it with a "u" not an "i". HA HA! Those CRAZY Germans! I say that because a tall German lady is the owner. How do I know this? The live music called her up on stage and she danced. The live music was a friend of a friend. She turned out to be pretty darn good.

This was the live music:

http://www.corday.net/

So while she played we drank and laughed and sang and drank and smiled and spoke of good times past.

I wasn't hungry so I didn't order anything BUT I did eat an hour old potato skin off of someone else's plate after I had had a few beers. It was good but cold, but that was my own fault.

Would I go here again? Sure, why not.
Should you go? Sure, why not.

Thank You! No, thank YOU!

*Okay, I am terribly biased. I have been going to this bar for more then 4 years. So just take that into account.

First of all, it's Durty NELLY'S. Anyhow. Such a comfortable Irish pub. Someone else said to try Muldoon's instead. Muldoon's is nice, I admit....but you would never get that family feeling there.

The drinks are super stiff and reasonable. The bartenders have become friends to me. Just be nice to them and they'll be nice to you! And the food is good. Not gourmet, but I've never had a bad anything there. The Blue Cheese Burger is divine.

What makes this pub so special to me is the people. Theres alot of people who are 'regulars' (me included), but it never feels stuck up or clique-ish. A wide age range of people frequent Nelly's. You'll see 21 yr olds having their first red headed slut (oh yes I said it) to 70+ year olds enjoying fish and chips.

Karaoke is on Friday and Saturday nights and it is the most fun EVER. Kevin the karaoke host works hard to make sure everyone has a great time. And the singers are actually good! I swear! It is always entertaining.

I heart Durty Nelly's!
