This bar has a large selection of Drinks (Beer and Alcohol).
Awesome American food.
Portions are pretty big, Pretty Fresh, Pretty looking, Pretty good!
Since I was around the area, found this local place, It was quiet on a Sunday Evening, but after looking at pictures and reviews, we gave it a shot.
Ordered Shrimp cocktails and Crab Cakes for Appetizer. Â Shrimps are HUGE (at least 4 Inches long). Â The Crab Cakes were Meh (Too much Stuffin, couldn't find any crab meat in it).
Each one of us ordered different Things. Â
- I ordered a Chicken Milanese with Arugula salad on the side. Â Pretty Well Battered, light and Chicken meat was perfect.
- Friend of mine Ordered a Grilled Atlantic Salmon Steak... is pretty HUGE! (no wonder they called it a steak). Â Well done and it was made to perfection, I thought I was going to bey dry and no flavor, but it was totally tendered, fresh flavors of the Salmon with some seasoning. Â But the side that came in (Zuchinni, potato, Mushroom and Tarragoon), Was too oily, there was a lot of oil floating around the bowl.
- The Carnivore friend ordered the New York Shell Steak.... Medium rare (and came out medium). Â With the side of Creme Spinach and Dauphinoise Potatoes (they were all stacked up in layers). Â He said it was good. Â I didn't tasted it because I was too busy with my own entree.
After all, WE decided to share the Dessert which was Nutella Crepe with Vanilla Ice cream. Â It was light, it wasn't heavy nutella. Â It was perfect just to have a scoop or two of sweet in your belly by the end of the day.
Service was friendly and quick. Â Would come back here when I'm in the area.
Total Bill came out around $ 120 (drinks, appetizer, entree and dessert). Not bad for 3 people****

Disappointing brunch experience. The manager (Ed) refused to seat us at open tables in the dining room because he had a funeral party there. We reluctantly sat in the bar area, only to see the same manager seat another couple in the dining room who was not with the funeral a few minutes later. Food was decent but portion on the salad entree was extremely small. If I'm paying $20 for a salad, I expect a satisfying portion. The waitress was clearly inexperienced and generally ignored us. It would have been nice to be offered a cup of coffee instead of overcharged for a second mimosa which I thought was part of the brunch menu. Despite the poor service, small portions and steep prices, the bartender was a sweetheart and the decor very nice. Too bad I won't be back.
Review Source:My wife an I have been here several times before and we've never been disappointed. (We love the crackling pork belly appetizer and the duck & cherry sausage!!! And we especially love the Saturday night special of Beef Wellington!!!) So for Easter Sunday we decided to have the family dinner at Edison Place rather than fight the crowds at the supermarket and mess up the kitchen. We are so glad we did!
Our family was warmly greeted by the staff and escorted to a lovely table by the
window...nicely decorated with spring flowers. Our server Christine was an absolute delight. She was thoroughly professional, efficient, funny and charming.
The Easter Sunday pixe fixe menu offered something for everyone in our group. The crab cakes were excellent, chock full of large lumps of crabmeat and served with a Napa cabbage slaw that was a perfect balance of sweet & sour. My wife loved her shrimp bisque, which before I had a chance to try it, Â was quickly gone, but it looked velvety and rich -- wish I could've tried it. . Others in our party had the salad with goat cheese...it looked so fresh...definitely brought to mind thoughts of spring.
My entree was the crusted rack of lamb with mint au jus. Cooked exactly to my specification (medium rare) -- Â Seriously, what better way to celebrate a holiday than with meat popcicles!!! -- My lamb was served with rustic, comforting sides of sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes. I really can't even call them mashed potatoes they were more like a well spiced potato mousse. Everyone else at the table had the chicken cordon bleu, which they loved, -- and the portions were large. -- My wife brought her chicken home in a doggie bag...so she was able to enjoy the post holiday meal leftovers!!!
My family and I want to thank Edison Place for making our Easter so memorable and enjoyable. And very special thanks to Christine!!! (Christine even remembered to draw a little Easter bunny on the doggie bag!) Thanks!!!
