Oceans Lounge

Cheap happy hour, usually low key and not very crowded.  

They have a patio out back with christmas lights and such, but I usually sit at the bar.  

Wednesday nights they usually have movie nights, and the bartender makes themed cocktails that are pretty cheap, in addition to the other happy hour specials.

They also have espresso and coffee, which helps make for either a good pick me up, or an even better mixed drink!

Awesome drink specials all the time and a patio. Only thing it needs is more people!

I stopped in here for a beer at 11 p.m. on a Saturday. There were only 3 other patrons, and the wall of flatscreen TVs above the bar was playing college football. Kind of a sad scene, really. Drinks seem pretty standard, beers in bottles. The barmaid was friendly enough. There are a row of video poker or solitaire(?) games along the wall.

It is called a "lounge" but really there are just a few tables and not much lounge-like about it. The "oceans" in the name is tied to the saltwater tropical fish tank in the rear, which is actually the best thing about this bar.

I can't say I had a negative experience here, but it certainly wasn't particularly entertaining, either. Maybe other nights are more lively.
