Ewww. Ewww, ewww, eww.
I went in here once for a hot minute. Thought it would be your typical Irish bar and grill. The minute I sat down, I felt this slightly bad vibe. There was a few guys at the bar, scattered about. Mostly in their 30s-40s. Dunno, it just felt a bit creepy to me. This is coming from someone who's been in quite a few dive bars.
Very quickly I changed my mind, walking out of the place. As it turned out, my instincts served me well. Since then, I've passed by the place a few times. The customers hanging outside of this joint seem to be local low-lives. On a recent Sunday afternoon, while waiting for the bus, some drunk dude approached me. He had walked out of this bar. He was slurring, offering me money so he could use my cellphone. He claims the cops took his phone away. His friend tried to drag him away from me, but the drunkard kept on getting closer to my face. Luckily, the Q54 pulled up just in time.
The final icing was an earlier review posted by Pedro C. After reading his, I knew I had made the right decision a year ago. Thanks.
My girlfriend stopped by for a drink and almost ended up dead. Some girl and low life scum bag spiked her drink. The girl asked my girl to go outside for a cig and even insisted very aggressively. She left her drink unattended, When she got back the girl then pretended to pass out. The guy (who was huge) asked my lady to help him carry his girl to his car. She declined and left. Passed out behind the wheel and barley made it home. Was disorientated and sick and remembers nothing...(after only one glass of wine) All from one drink. If she would have gone to this A**H**** car she may have been gone forever!!! If they know this is going on here someone will pay!!
STAY AWAY
The Spaten doesn't taste like other Spaten I've tasted, but I haven't been to Germany... Â only in my genetic code with one great grandmother.
I came in for a Saturday afternoon nip and they let me taste a Murphy Stout, which made me choose Guinness.  I like taste and bitterness in my beers.  I'm not looking for  "smoothness".
The place seems amiable enough. Â A bar area and tables in the back. Â 7 Flat screens, usual POP muzac. Â A family ate lunch and the kids ran back and forth. Â It didn't bother me, I like kids, I like kid friendly places even if they're Irish bars. Â I did not eat here, so consider this a review of the bar in the afternoon.
