No, OK. These guys suck. I ordered their two pizza special and nachos. The special was for 2 mediums which they didn't have? So we were supposed to get a large and a half. Half bacon, half pepperoni. Plus. nachos. We got: cold ass nachos, a large pizza with canadian bacon and pepp, and a stank attitude when we called to request our other half of a pizza and complimentary pop, and pointed out that perhaps we get a freebie for our massive inconvenience. Never ever ever ever again.
Review Source:Here's the thing: my experience is based on a delivery to a location that was more than a half-hour drive from the place. Â However, considering the other reviewers had less-than-stellar delivery experiences as well, I think maybe readers should be warned that they don't have their delivery stuff together, and keep in mind their listed delivery area is much too large.
I would guess, based solely on the excellent Pico de Gallo and the tamales that were probably good when they were warm, that this place has very good Mexican food if you eat in. Â I'd love to hear from a reviewer who's dined in. Â
Our order arrived 50 minutes later than it was promised - after a call to follow up when it was 20 minutes late. Â The driver didn't have any kind of insulated carrier, so the food was cold and congealed and had to be reheated. Â When I followed up, the owner only agreed to refund half my payment - good thing the place is inexpensive.
The pizza (after reheating - so, again not a fair assessment of what it might be like if fresh) was just not very good - tasted and looked like one of those perfectly round pallid crusts and a sweetish sauce. Â Tasted more like a frozen pizza, although the toppings at least were generous. Â
Chicken wings were crispy and flavorful if a bit plain (they are not hot wings, and they aren't deep fried - but they are good.) Â Again, since they had to be reheated, they weren't as good as they could have been.
As I said, Pico de Gallo was excellent - except they packed the chips inside the same container, so we wound up having to fish them out and use our own chips.
this is the absolute worst restaurant ever. i have ordered delivery from them twice, the second time not realizing it was the same restaurant that put me through misery the first time. they use a third party company for their delivery, and saying they are slow is an understatement. i waited almost 2.5 hours the first time, and when the driver arrived, he was completely clueless and had no idea what was going on. it was if he was from another planet and had no idea he was 2.5 hours late. when i didn't give him a tip, he looked at me with disgust, even though he did not speak one lick of english. the second time, i ordered from them not realizing this was the exact same restaurant that caused me so much anger the first time. as i write this review, i am waiting again for the most clueless driver to figure out my address, as he left 35 minutes ago and still no signs of him. please, do yourselves all a favor, and forget this place even exists.
Review Source:I am trying to come up with the lonliest thing I have done in the past few years, but eating taco's and pizza on Christmas day and then writing a review about it takes the cake.
Anyway, I got:
Carne Asada Tacos - Tortilla fell apart instantly upon unwrapping. Meat = C, good, not great. a little too dark also. Didnt taste fresh.
Shrimp Tacos - not really very good, but large. Lots of rice and potatoes and things that I do not like in a taco. Lettuce and tomato was not helping me on this one. Â
Garlic Pizza - By sprinkling a thimble full of garlic salt onto a regular cheese pizza, somehow this makes it taste like garlic. I wish they just cut up a few cloves of garlic and tossed it on there. The pizza was good though.
Delivery was very fast. Good phone order taking skills.
Happy Hanuka!
